Introduction
From the Earthly Plane, to the Heavenly, and even the Underworld, God left all of what he had given life to the Virtues. His sons and daughters of high birth and little pride. Corruptible yet uncorrupt; unlike his other children, the ones he had thrown away, the first sign of his slow demise and slumber. But, well, corruption has been slowly seeping into the higher realm as well, for the lower realm has been on a rampaging high. What will the Virtues do when they find themselves alone? What will the Sins do when they find out the free reign they suddenly have after a millennia of suppression?
Lotherien, land of the Virtues, elves and all things good- the Land of Light. For many long years, the Virtues have kept an eye on the human world from their heavenly abode, their fair eyes cast upon the everyday lives of the mortals that lived below their realm. With love in their hearts, they constantly made sure that the rift between the human world and that world did not open up, allowing the human realm to continue as normal. What God has denied them was the entrance to the human world themselves, blocking them off with benevolence in his heart, unwilling to see his direct offspring sullied by the imperfections of humans.
The realm was split into seven equal pieces between the seven Virtues, each selecting a piece that they believed best for themselves and their respective loyal retainer species. Usually, they do not meet- unless when their Lord demands, or during periods of dire crisis. Then, they meet in the Grand Hall of Dunedire, living and watching from the Great Seeing Hall until the crisis is over. Their sight from the Grand Hall encompasses all, from the realms of the humans to even that of the Sins, their eyes the basic means for their grand sight.
The Virtues: fair, kind, courteous. The Virtue race is one of the first to grace the world of Melore, their songs and steps bringing life to wherever they went. There are only seven Virtues, each characterized by a part of their personality that they are named by. There are overlaps, but what more can one expect from beings made from the same flesh, of the same spirit and soul? They are in their own eyes and the eyes of many more are a family, under one singular banner of Harmony and peace, their flag a simple blue circle, with multiple words underneath, each representing their own realm.
What they gained from the sagely blood that flows through their veins was magic. Plant manipulation, light manipulation, pyrokinesis, telepathy; each Virtue has only one skill that they can use, as they had split the powers evenly between one another. God had bestowed it on them in the form of markings on their skin, forever ingrained and unable to change. Some experimented with their powers but never perfected their skills, as each power had proven more volatile than anyone could possibly imagine. What God had given to them was a piece of Himself, and now, it has been proven that these pieces are far too powerful- and that if these powers are overused, the markings on the skin of these Virtues would slowly spread until they, as well, fall into an eternal slumber.
A Grand Council has been called between the Virtues for the fortification of the Rift.
The seven siblings have once again assembled with glee and song, though a certain tension that they have not felt in near a millennia is upon their shoulders.
Xanathen, land of the Sins, demons and all things evil- the Land of Darkness. For many long years, the Sins ruled the seven lands with cruel hands, forcing the demons that inhabited the lands into their wills. War and carnage rage through the lands as common occurrences, with wars busting out everywhere between the Sins, demon tribes, and the like. Succubi float through the air as kyuubi seduce male demons, cackling and screams wailing into the air a like. The Sins stand above the beings that roam through their fragmented realms, their eyes focused on the Rift- the crack in the protective shield that separates Xanathen from the human realm.
However, this does not mean that they do not keep their eyes on one another. Brothers and sisters, they wage war against one another, their kingdoms constantly changing shape as they lose and win against one another, their victories and losses balanced purely by the will of God. They fight not just out of greed and pride- but also because the more landmass they wield under their flags, the more power they have, augmenting their fighting abilities and the mechanisms they have created to boost their prowess.
But God has gone to sleep.
However, this does not mean that they do not keep their eyes on one another. The Sins, as per to their nature, destroyed everything wherever they went. Whenever the Virtues created something, the Sins destroyed them, anger and fury burning in their hearts.

That being said, no drama in the OOC, and I'll keep this role-play first come first serve because I'd rather not have competition over characters :\
2. That being said, the time period to turn in a WIP is TWO DAYS; to finish the character sheet will be within one week! I’m going to be pretty strict about these deadlines (sorry), and will be sending PMs to anyone who does not hand in anything within the time period. People who not reply will immediately lose their reservation. But if you have something to do that won’t allow you to finish your character OR reply to the roleplay; that’s fine! Just shoot me a PM or just say so on the OOC to let other people know as well ☺ First password is to list your favorite anime/movie :)
3. Literacy: I, along with my co-GM, want this to be a literate role-play. So, we both demand a minimum of 400 words. This isn’t too hard, so if you are joining, please try to post more than the minimum limit! Also, I demand one post a week, because I myself am a pretty slow poster.
4. Face claims: Anime, please! But keep in mind that demons will definitely look more...rugged, and virtues will look more, hmm, Orlando-Bloom-as-Legolas-esque. Please, for the password, list for your sin/virtue character WHICH sin/virtue they will be representing :)
5. Explicit Content and the like: This will be an explicit role-play, especially with the Sin characters. If you do not think you can stomach gore and the like, please do not join the Sin faction, at least! ^^ Anyhow, any sexual content- please make them fade to the back, as usual, and continue by PMs or IMs, what not. Gore, violence, yes, please, I really don't care much but, again, there are RPG site rules that we all must follow :D Romance is totally encouraged, but this role-play will not have romance as a main theme. So, yeah.
6. As for the other, other part of the password, please include the color code that you might use for your character, if you aren't going to use one just say so on your reservation.

Because of Easter today and I've become sick. So I won't be able to create my character until tomorrow... depending on how I feel... It might even longer if I'm still sick.

@all: Hmm...so, I was envisioning seven people against seven other people (obviously, as per to the "seven heavenly virtues and "seven deadly sins", but since application/reservations have slowed down a bit, could you guys sort of...advertise around the place? Or am I getting a bit too worried too early ._. hahaha

@Riot: yes, I was referring to the seven heavenly virtues (which...conveniently has a Wikipedia page that you guys can check up for further information on how to build your characters) and consider yourself reserved, welcome to the roleplay!
@Leej: of course, gluttony is yours :D and you could totally use both for your FC, just one for when the Sin is in it's "awakened form" which virtues have as well

If I'm not mistaken, I may choose whatever Virtue I wish to display? Or do I need to choose from a certain preconceived list?
If the former, Id like to reserve Courage. To be honest, I've never watched much anime. I briefly watched Inuyasha and Full Metal Alchemist. Un impressive. I know, but that's it. As for my favorite movie, I tend to enjoy anything that scares me. That being said, the most astounding of these were The Woman in Black and The Conjuring. My posting might not be given a color at all, as I've never used one before, but if it's something you'd prefer to see, I will use red.
