Calista had a look of age about her despite being clearly young enough. Today her large brown eyes were wide and vancant as her mind played through visions that defied space and time. At least for this moment her vision was directed inward rather than out but nevertheless as Calista reflected on her own history what she saw in her mind's eye seemed disturbing to her. Luckily there wasn't time to dwell on her inner thoughts very long that morning. Life was persistant and demanding. Pulling herself back into the present reality of her senses Calista noted the light at the intersection had changed and that she was now at privilage to cross the street which she did in a aloof sprightly manner that resembled a black cat both taunt and alert but entirely self possessed.
