Introduction
Blackthorn Manor has seemed to be abandoned for nearly 50 years, but one cold night 10 people receive a invitation to play."The Game " by none other then Iris Blackthorn, the last heir to the Blackthorn estate. The invitation states that whoever wins "the Game" would receive a very special monetary reward.

Kazuki clutched the note tightly, his teeth clenched. Blackthorn Manor loomed above him. I have to fulfill my promise, there's no turning back now. Swallowing hard, he pushed open the gates, they screeched with years of abandonment.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" he called cautiously, stepping carefully into the courtyard, his footsteps echoing eerily. Blackthorn Manor was a gothic castle, large and intimidating, crumbling from 50 years of neglect. Stuffing his hands in his pocket Kazuki walked furthur in, peering around his surrondings. He fumbled in his pocket for a moment before drawing out a cigarette. He lit is carefully, placing it on his lips, smoke spiraling upwards. Pulling it away from his mouth he exhaled, the silvery smoke billowing from his lips. He called into the empty castle once more.
"I'm here for...The Game."

As the doors opened to the castle Iris walked carefully down the steps from her room, towards where she could hear her first guest entering.As she moved down the steps she glanced at the smoking man and smiled."Welcome....Mr.Kazuki, Welcome to Blackthorn Mansion!" After reaching the last step she did a small spin and smiled."I am your host, Iris Blackthorn.Tis quite a pleasure to meet you so please come in, come in make yourself at home."She smiled and moved towards the living room, knowing he would follow her she didnt look back but kept walking until she reached a black velvet like couch and sat down.

Kazuki glanced up sharply when he heard a voice. A girl with long white hair made her way down the stairs twirling with a smile, welcoming him into the mansion. He followed her cautiously into the living room where she sat down on a black velvet couch.
"So...you're Iris Blackthorn?" he asked, pulling the cigarette from his mouth and allowing smoke to spiral toward the ceiling.

Iris chuckled as she watched his smoke sprial up towards the ceiling."Indeed, I am Iris Blackthorn...and you are Kazaki Takahashi correct? Such a pleasure to meet you and have you in my home"

"That's right." he said with a brisk nod. "Thank you for allowing me to visit." peering around the room he focused once again on the white haired girl.
"Am I the first here?" he asked, his tone slightly anxious.

She nodded and folded her pale hands on her lap."Yes you are actually, but it makes me quite happy you are so punctual ....as I rather despise tardiness ."Her eyes glinted angrily for a moment before she regained her composure."So, while we have some time anything in particuliar would you like to speak about?The weather,the mansion, your parents,?"Her eyes remained on him as she smiled lightly.

Your parents? Kazuki's heart thundered momentarily in his chest, eyes shooting wide open and figure becoming rigid. The cigarette fell from his fingers and hit the ground. Quickly he ground his heel into it and bend over.
"My apologizes, I guess my hand slipped." he smiled nervously, not looking into the girl's eyes. He scooped the crushed cigarette with one hand into the other and tossing it into a waste bin in the corner, slowly turning back toward her.
"Yes, however, I believe there is something I would like to speak to you about." he said cooly, smile remaining plastered on his face.

Iris chuckled slightly and glanced up towards the ceiling.She was already beginning to enjoy this... and the other guest had not even arrived yet.She waved a hand and smiled."Well go on then, what would you like to talk about?"

The sound of footsteps came from a seperate corridor which held little light. With a straight face Simon came out with a two cups and one kettle with coffee and another with tea.
"Miss Iris," Simon started as he lifted his pocket watch up and stared at the new guest. "It seems we have an early guest." Should I have more furniture moved here for those that are coming later. Thye may wish for some little comforts before the night begins." he said with a slightly amused tone.
Simon busied himself nearby mostly offering to take anything excess that this visitor may wish to be off his person's. "And you, sir." Simon started. "What would you like to drink?" Simon held himself up right and kept out of this man's comfort area so as to not upset him. He would have enough to be upset about later, anyways.

Iris smiled and leaned back on the couch."Yes,I think you should add more furniture to the rooms, including the bedrooms.Oh and please gather some flowers to put in the rooms as well.....I want my guest feeling as at home as possible."She gently ran her fingers through her hair and smiled."So, I am wondering when the other guest will get here...if not I may have to begin early."

"Patience, miss" Simon said respectfully. " They will come. Eventually. We can give them another day and have any guests wait the night before starting the game. Give them advantage for at least showing up before the others. Seems like a easy reward, yes?" he asked.
Simon nodded curtly "I will prepare this room and the bedrooms as per your request, miss." He bowed lower and in an instant was back down the corridor. Calling the lesser maids and butlers into action with a snap of his fingers.
(OOC: I will assume I got the guest's order. if you can throw that into your post I will bring it to you as quickly as possible.)

Kazuki opened his mouth to speak when a voice sounded from behind him, causing him to jump slightly. He turned around quickly, spotting a man with black hair strolling into the room. Due to his attire Kazuki assumed he was Iris's butler. As he set down the drinks and began speaking to the white haired girl. Kazuki sensed something...odd. He had from the beginning known that this was to be no ordinary night, but by the way the two spoke secritively, his suspicion increased.
Kazuki was jerked back into attention as Iris spoke to him.
When she had finished speaking, Kazuki could only stand in utter awe and stare down at the girl.
"I-I-" He was flooded by and overwhelming mix of emotions. Confusion, shock and on top of all a creeping sense of dread. He finally nodded. "I understand."

Iris chuckled and began pacing about the room her gaze still remaining on Kazaki."Well I am happy you understand, however I fear that understanding is not...merely understanding.I need you to grasp something, the fact of the matter is....your parents....my parents...were friends."She sighed hoping he would understand this.

Samantha slowly walked up to the front door of the large mansion, her vans skater shoes making small thuds on the ground as she glanced about with her sea-green eyes. She held a fancy invitation in her long hands, and she wore a long black sweater with gray stripes and skinny jeans on her slender legs. She slowly knocked on the door, slightly suspicious but she had her knife in her sweater pocket and her phone in her pants pocket in case something went wrong. She knew her parents would be pissed off when she came home but she didn't really care. She waited for someone to open the door.

It's rather cold outside so go by the fire to warm yourself up if you would like, there will be refreshments here as well."She motioned for the girl to come inside as she walked towards the living room.

Samantha raised an eyebrow towards the disturbingly chipper woman and she slowly stepped inside, holding the invitation and held it up as she slowly walked inside. "Um... thank you. I just.. uh... received this... it was on my bed when I got home yesterday. I'd like to know.. what it means." she said, facing the woman. No smile had come to her ivory face as she flipped some of her silky black hair from her eyes. She seemed nervous... uncomfortable. Samantha didn't smile much.

"This thing you've invited me to... it has adventure?" she asked the woman, staring at her but she hadn't smiled yet. She fiddled with her fingers in her lap after she had sat down on the couch, looking around nervously.

Iris snapped her fingers and nodded."Exactly the word I was looking for...an adventure!Though all of the guests will be on a main adventure which they will play with everyone, and other...types of adventures which they will play with me and me alone"Iris let out a happy sigh at finding the right word for her game, of course there were other words,bloody,sadistic,tragic,etc but she hoped that when her guests played they would play correctly so none of these words were necessary.

No, seriously, the fact that you're asking for 5 girls and 5 guys practically screams "romance first, plot second" to me. I understand that the idea might be to give the players about as much information as the characters have, but that's an insult to some players' ability to resist the urge to metagame.
If I knew more about what exactly is going on here, I might be interested, as how these things usually work is that the participants are locked inside of an enclosure and have to earn the privilege of leaving according to the rules of the game, often by finding a cleverly concealed item first.
