Introduction
The Great Valley, a huge valley, further than a mounted man can travel for four straight months, day and night.
The Valley is a huge Valley, as the name suggests. Ranges of mountains form around the area. Rumors of beasts in the mountains are heard every time anyone mentions them. Although they were heard to be able to destroy entire groups of armed men, they are also rumored to guard caverns full of jewels and treasures.
The Valley is also great for traveling. Springs pepper the entire valley. Abandoned caves are sometimes found at the base of the mountains. The trees provide much shade. Ponds and lakes could be found throughout the valley, except for the Dead Desert.
The four Great Kingdoms, Greterym, Rendei, Heutuor, and Draukus, occupies only one-third of the Valley. The rest of the valley is covered with small villages and cities, Lake Elitomei, the Dead Desert, and common fields of grass, forests, highlands, etc.
-Greterym, ruled by King Grafium, is full of knights loyal to him. His flag is of a red lion on it's hind legs, pawing at a standing black bear. The background of the flag is a solid green. Greterym's economy is based on farming from the peasants, tributes from towns and cities from areas where no kingdom has claimed, and trading. Greterym makes the most money from tributes, for the kingdom of Greterym has come to Rendei's aid before. Knights are often found traveling on the streets of Greterym. Greterym has a severe relation to Draukus.
-Rendei, ruled by Queen Raalia, has many alchemist and wizards and mages. The current flag is of a simple blue wand, a black cauldron, and a white wizard hat. The background of the flag has stripes bursting from the center of the flag. Stripes of black and red. The economy is based mostly on trading the supplies and potions brewed daily everywhere. Farming is also common on the outskirts of Rendei. Rendei pays tribute to Greterym for the next ten years.
-Heutuor, a kingdom ruled by Queen Hekalyf. Heutuor's flag is a simple one. The flag has one circle in the middle and a ring around it. Both the ring and the circle are blue. The background is a deep purple. Heutuor's economy is based on fishers and farmers. A lot of trading is between Heutuor and the other Kingdoms. Heutuor is located next to the sandy shores of the east.
-Draukus, ruled by King Dedua. The flag of Draukus are two swords, one a scimitar, the other a long sword, clashed together. A buckler shield is behind them. The background is a checkered red and black. Draukus has many thieves and rogues. A tax is put on pirating and looting. Farmers are found on the very outskirts of the kingdom. Draukus waged war against all of the kingdoms in its history.
In the middle of the Valley, a great stadium was built. Guard towers are built around the stadium. Guards are always patrolling the area. On the bottom story of the stadium, the Valley trading center is located. Vendors from everywhere come there to sell their wares.

OOC Notes
Neil
I walked down the street. It was only the third day of being a "real" knight. The cobble stone street outside of my door was always crowded with mules carrying tools and stuff to sell. Small children walked down the road, playing with wooden toys, hitting a wooden hoop with a stick, and playing with wooden swords and shields.
I walked back into my home, through the back door, and to the stable, where my only horse was kept.
Steel, my charger, was waiting patiently in the stable. I opened the stable and called him out. Steel came to me. I put on the armor that made Steel a charger, along with the new robe that had the flag of Greterym on it, on Steel. I mounted and Steel galloped to the gate and jumped right over it.
I stopped him next to the front of my home. I dismounted and went inside to retrieve my weapons and my plate-armor, which I don't usually wear on top of my chain-mail. After getting them, I mounted Steel again. "This armor is heavy," I said to myself as I grabbed Steel's reins and kicked Steel's side to get him going.
As soon as I got to the main street, a concerned-looking peasant stopped me. "What is it, man?"
I asked the peasant.
"Sire, sorry to bother you sir, but I heard Draukus might be planning against Greterym. As a knight, I thought you should know,"
He told me.
"Thank you, but I already knew that. Rumors travel quick. Thanks for being concerned, though," I told him as I grabbed the reins again.
"Wait! Sir!" he shouted when he saw I was about to ride away, "Sir, there is something else! The King's men has told him about these rumors. The king thinks it is true, as well! Have you not heard he has ordered all the fighting men to him this evening?"
"That, I have not heard, peasant. I thank thee for the news. But I do not know where all of the fighting men will meet, do you?"
"Yes, sir, Just outside of the walls protecting this city, the city of the king. I believe he has said to meet over on the east side, close to the base of the mountains. And sir, I am not a peasant, I am a messenger, sir," The peasant said, and he turned around and disappeared into the crowd.
