Introduction
"The Organisation" works in secrecy, though its members are known by the world as heroes, to preserve the safety of the normal people of the world.
Recently a group of evil villains led by the notorious Ray Blackheart has surfaced and is attempting to find a weapon of immense power hidden deep below the pyramids of Egypt.
"The Organisation", having heard the rumours, has deployed its best field operatives (you guys) to get to the weapon first and subdue or kill the villains.
This is a pretty free-flowing RP in which I will through enemies at you guys while using it all to further the plot. There will be a lot of time for discussion in the RP and also a lot of action.
As for the Wushu system, it is a pretty straight forward system that uses dice to resolve how successful the actions you describe are. Also, what you describe in your post happens, ie if you say "I kick him straight through the brick wall" then he is kicked straight through the brick wall, but it may not be anywhere near as damaging if you don't roll well.
The Character Sheet I'd like you to use is supplied below
Name:
Age:
Appearance: (simple enough)
Description: Gunslinger? Hacker? Wizard? Tatto artist?
Traits:(includes weakness)
Notable Items: (what do they carry that is at all relevant)
Bio: (and yes your character is a superhero)
Trait-wise, you don't have to have any traits, but you'll seriously want one for combat, whatever superpowers you have, and anything you want to be good at.
Each trait starts at a level of 2 and MUST be increased above that.
You will all have 8 points to increase your traits above 2 and you can make up to 8 traits if you wanted.
The maximum for each trait will be 5 and only traits rated above 2 will be accepted.
Also, you must have 1 trait that has a rating of 1 and cannot be changed (this is your character's weakness). This does NOT use one of your trait points.
Also, with my understanding of combat, you choose which die will be yin and which will be yang before rolling. No rolling and then deciding that all your successes are yang (attack) dice or all are yin (defense) dice
Now, I need everyone to be a regular poster. At the bottom of your posts, please list your yin and yang sucesses, and if you're injured, how much Chi you have left. I'll be in charge of the enemies, NPC's, and giving you guys back chi as is dramtically appropriate.
If you decide to veto something, you better have a good reason (yes you guys can veto me). I'm mostly going to use my power when it doesn't make sense based on your character or the plot, since I expect you to ignore physics.
Here is my character for the RP as an example of what I'm looking for
Name: Seto Harimo
Age: 24
Appearance:

Description: Psychic Hunter of the Supernatural
Traits:
Hunting the Supernatural - 5 (+3)
ESP - 5 (+3)
Gunning for Blood - 4 (+2)
Chocolate - 1 (Weakness)
Notable Items: A satchel bag with a spell of holding cast on it, allowing him to carry a complete copy of all the texts found within the Alexandrian Library and the little known Library of Demascur, not to mention all types of knick-knacks and handy items.
Bio: Seto joined "The Organisation" at the age of 18. It was due to his powers to predict the rough future that he was recruited. It should be noted that his power of prediction is not always correct, though most of the time it is.
Seto is an expert in the supernatural and has been appointed the leader of the field operation team.

Re: [OOC] The Greatest Tale Yet Untold
In response to your post there are 2 ways I have planned to control the dice rolls if I suspect cheating.
One is to roll the dice for everyone personally and simply tell you all what happened, which I hope won't be necessary.
And the second more drastic measure is to eliminate the dice roll and wushu aspect completely, making it a normal RP and changing the character sheet to reflect this.
Re: [OOC] The Greatest Tale Yet Untold
It's obvious when someone is writing their character so that they're blocking/ dodging everyone, or when they're making what should have been a devastating blow into something that a new born anything would have no issue taking full force. Given that a clever person would never make their rolls perfect all or even most of the time, do you have anyway of monitoring (so to speak, it's not like you can go to their house and watch them roll) if someone is fibbing? For that matter, I've known people that had dice that always rolled high for them, and might have thought that they were fibbing if I didn't see it for myself.
I have no clue if that makes sense to anyone but myself. I hope that it does, and I really do like this idea of yours. I'm even seriously considering working up a character, if you'd still be willing to have me after that speech above. I hope you didn't find it offensive, because that wasn't my intention. I was really just trying to state a concern that I had, and ask if you had thought about how you would keep an eye out for/ handle it if it did come up.
