Introduction

Once a fish called Jake was having a peaceful swim, when a fishing boat came. He was caught in the net but managed to escape. However, with severe rope burns and other various wounds, he soon after passed away. Now..He is a ghost fish!
Jake swam through the deep blue waters..He thought to himself if he couldn't go above water...maybe have an adventure for once! He hovered upwards, and broke through the surface of the water, he was free!! Well...sort of.

Jake grinned, and managed to see the flicker of his reflection on the waters surface. Maybe he was like a vampire. When he was young, only a small little swimmer, his mum had told him stories that the humans believed in. One was about vampires, and how they couldn't be seen in the air but they could be seen as reflections. At least Jake thought it was vampires...that was a long time ago now, and it might not have been a vampire after all. But still, he was like one right now.

Jake watched the otters play, and he let a smile start to emerge at the edge of his mouth. He was lonely. He wanted their attention, but being calm and gentle wouldn't help that. He needed to...haunt them? That was a tricky decision...whether to haunt them or not. I suppose now Jake knew why ghosts were always known to haunt people..because they're lonely! He thought about it...and ended up deciding that he would do it...he would haunt them forever more.

Jake saw how happy the otters were playing about...would him haunting them stop this? And how do you haunt an otter in the first place? Well....he could make strange noises which would seem to come from no-where. Or he could get things to move when the ocean winds are calm, and still. Either of those would do...but first he must be patient.

Returning his attention to the seafloor, he was lucky enough to happen upon what appeared to be a clam, which he took and brought to the surface. Turned out to be just half of one. "Blast, just a shell" he said, thowing it behind him.

Jake saw his moment, his chance to haunt them. Knowing they couldn't see them, he hovered over to Nuff and took the clam. He rose upwards, in attempt to make the shell seem as if it were floating in mid-air. Wait a moment...what if the otters could see him? His plan would be foiled! Well...people cannot see ghosts only because they don't want to. They refuse to believe such scary things like this existed. But...what if the otters were different? What then?

Jake saw Nuff desperately grabbing at the clam. He sighed and brought the clam round Nuff and back into her grasping paws. He sunk down to the waters surfaces and began to swim in a circular motion round Nuff. He was creating a whirlpool. He would not make it to fast or strong, wanting not to drown the otter...just to make her notice him.

Jake slowed the whirlpool down and took the shell again. He hovered over to the beach and lay it down there. He took various other shells and put them in a circle around it. Then he moved towards Nuff again and completely stopped the whirlpool altogether.

Interesting plot. I'm partial to animal roleplays, and have yet to try one with sea creatures. Otters are awesome, so I was planning on submitting one before I saw that there was one already created, so don't think I'm stalking you Olivia. Yet.
