Description

Image

Name: Broderick Thaddeus Isaiah Elijah Felix Hannigan

Nickname: Brody

Age: 18

Appearance: Standing at 4'10" tall and weighing around 120 pounds, Brody is insanely small compared to most of the working boys in his district. His thin build and childish features gain him no points to prove his age and worth, and the fact that he looks confused most of the time doesn't help in the least. His dark hazel eyes are lit by auburn highlights that spike around his pupils. White-blond hair always seems to fall messily in his face, but he doesn't seem to mind. Although he may seem frail and useless, Brody is very agile and flexible. He's fairly strong, able to carry large loads of fruits harvested from the trees in his district.

Personality: Shy and sweet are two traits that Brody could easily be described as having. He absolutely loves harvesting, but that's mostly because that's really the only time he gets to be alone during the day. He is a bit afraid to kill, but will do so if he has to. He's very self-sacrificing and would do anything for the few people he cares about. He has mostly retreated into a shell over the years because of the constant torments of his peers over his size and lack of obvious muscle, though these mostly stopped when his parents died.

District: 11

Weapon of Choice: Small knives

Bio: Besides for the relentless bullying his peers supplied, Brody lived the average life of a boy from District 11. Well, at least until he turned fourteen. He came home from work late one day only to find a silent house. Going inside, he found his previously ill mother dead in her bed with Brody's father beside her, still clutching the knife he'd killed himself with. The house was taken away from the teenage boy soon after and given to a family who could afford it. From then on, the young boy lived on the streets, living off what food he got from his work and the tesserae he got from entering his name as many times as he could. Unfortunately, this year he tried his luck just a little too much.
