Lycanthropes...you've heard of them. Men who can change into a wolf. Neither man nor beast, they are half and half. They change with the full moon, have the strength of twenty men, and are bloodthirsty. But what if none of that is true? What if they are actually on this earth to protect us?

Lycanthrope - They are an ancient race, people born half man and half beast. They have the power to shift to their other form at will, and their age spans well over two thousand years. The form they take on is a different animal form, depending on which clan they come from. A few from each clan are what they call the Hunters. Hunters track and kill Demons, which are another ancient race, and their mortal enemies. Demons seek to destroy the race of men, and the Hunters of the Lycanthropes are charged with the task of thwarting them.

Demon - Demons are the ancient and mortal enemy of the Lycanthropes. No one really knows where they came from. They are corrupt creatures, and seek to corrupt the souls of men. They can change their form to match the appearance of any human, and are eerily charismatic. As for powers, they don't seem to have any besides shape shifting. However, much is unknown, even to their adversaries, the Lycanthropes.






Rashen - The oldest and most powerful of the Lycan clans, their other form is the Dragon. The clan is very small, as far as is known, there is only two of them left. Both are hunters. They are sisters. The girls are considered the two best Hunters in the Order.

Lythen - Another old clan, they can phase into tigers. Their clan is also small, around five to ten of them left. Only two of them, the eldest sons, twins, of the clan leader, are hunters. They are messengers to the Council, and more or less considered the Police within the Order.

Shiran - One of the newer clans, their other form is the Phoenix. Only one of them is a Hunter.

Fenris - The largest of the clans, many of them are hunters. They are what man considers true Lycans, as their shift is a Wolf. They are basic hunters, just like the Rashen.

Pyren - The form of this clan is the lion. Very powerful, they are a proud family. Few are Hunters, as the Pyren clan is a mix between Lycanthrope and Demon. This is given as the reason for their form, which is the Lion, opposite of God's symbol, the Lamb. Also known as the "Fallen Ones" the Pyren aren't very welcome, even among their own kind. The eldest Rashen and the Pyren hunter are good friends.


A male human stumbles across the older Rashen sister taking down a demon. Under normal circumstances, she would kill him in order to protect her race, but something stops her. When her sister finds out, she is torn. The other hunters band together to take down the threat, and the human and Rashen are on the run. The younger sister let them go, and does not know where she stands. What will happen? On top of this, the true secret of the demise of the Rashen Clan is slowly coming to light. What does it all mean?
