Damian held Kira, his arm around her waist as they walked to the school, and a nervous look on her face. "What will it be like?" She asked curiously as she looked at the ground. "I'm not sure, but we'll find out soon enough." He replied and looked at her. "Don't be nervous, it'll be fine." He added and continued walking with her. Kira still wasn't the strongest flyer and the distance was too far still for her, but Damian didn't mind as long as she was with him.

Finally the school comes into view. Kira squirms out of Damian's hold and starts towards the school wanting a better look. Damian sighed and continued to walk as she ran, quietly chuckling to himself. She's really that excited about school? At that thought he couldn't help but laugh and began running after her. He soon caught her and grabbed her around her waist and kissed her cheek, pulling her into his chest. "Gonna be good?" He said chuckling still and holding her there. She nodded as her cheeks blushed bright pink. He laughed again and released her, wrapping his arm around her waist once again as they began to walk again.

They finally reached the school and they headed over to the office to get their schedules and room assignments. Kira looked over her schedule, as well as Damian's, having none of her classes with Damian she sighed. Damian's smile faded into his usual blank expression, upset that he'd have to be away from her. "Well I'll walk you to your room, then I'll head over to mine. You should get everything set up and meet your room mate if you have one." He said and picked up their bags and started walking to her room with her.

Kisa ran up the steps with her lugage as she traveled at meduim speeds. Behind her was a huge dog, who looked to be a huskey mix with a St. Bernard, or something big, furry with lots of drule. She and the dog stopped at the school entrance before turning around and dropping her stuff. "Sorry to dragg you all the way up here. Can you go back to Mr. James so he can take care of you?" She asked. Thee dog barked as he went back down to her old lady's brother who was taking care of Maz, her dog for the time being. She only met him once but he seemed nice.

The dog licked her and started to run back down. she waved with one hand and wiped her face off with her free hand. She turned around and started to run towards the huge school and went through the doors. Her lugage bouncing off her legs and she ran towards the dorm. She ran past a boy and girl and into the her dorm area,not knowing that she was going to have neighbor that was coming up past her. She shot into her room and started to unpack.

Kira and Damian walked into the room and Damian dropped their bags on the floor before sitting on Kira's bed. "Oh hi!" Kira says and smiles at the other girl in the room, happy to have a roommate. "I'm Kira and thats...." She pauses and points to Damian, "...Damian." She says and gets her bad and starts to unpack, taking her time. She had only brought one small bag. Once she's done she sits on her bed with Damian and lays down, her head on his lap, tired from the walk.

Kisa smiled and waved. "Hi, Im Kisa." SHe said smiling, relieved that theese people where no different than her, or so thought. She watched as they sat onto eachother like a couple as she unpacked. "If you don't mind me asking, but what are you guys? Like, oh, thats not what I ment." She sounded motherly and sweet. "Like Im human, well I count myself as a human, I guess it differs, I have healing powers... well I wouldn't say powers, more like abilities." She stopped and looked at them.

Her red auburn eyes looked at them and then closed into a brilliant smile. "Sorry, I guess Im just a little nervous meeting someone that is going to be my roomate." She said as she took her luggage and bent down to push the empty suit cases under the bed. "Well, enough about me. I guess Im trying to say is to tell me about yourself, if you don't mind." She was talking in a sweet smooth voice as she looked at the two.

"Well you see-" Kira began, but Damian put his hand over her mouth and she stopped. "We are strange, gifted beings, such as yourself and we are to be thought of no differently then you would to any other person at this school." Damian said with a slightly aggregated expression on his face. The smell of Kisa's blood was starting to get to him. Kira stayed on his lap and closed her eyes, knowing not to annoy him when he was like that.

Damian got up and put her head on a pillow before grabbing his bag and heading off to his dorm.

Kira sits up and looks at her again, "Don't mind him, it's just you smell so sweet and yummy, and he's trying not to make a meal off of anyone from the school. I promise you it's noting personal." She said trying to comfort the girl, in fear that Damian had hurt her feelings or something.

"Sweet and yumm-Oh! Don't worry! Im fine, he didn't hurt my feelings or anything..." She jumped from the topic to that. She smiled at her.
"So what classes do you have?" She said smiling at her. She had a long sleeves shirt that was too long on the sleeves part and some flare jeans on. Her long hair was pulled back as she sat on her bed, getting out a small wallet-like bag and opening it up to get her schedule.

"Ummmm...." Kira pauses and digs through her bag, looking for her schedule. Finally she finds it and looks over it. "I have the basic classes: Math, Science, Literature, History, Lunch, Art and some class that I can pronounce. What's your schedule?" She said and this time neatly put her schedule into the cover of her binder. She wouldn't almost lose it again.

Damian reached his room and tossed his bag on his bed planning to unpack later. God why is that girls blood so strong? He thought and sighed planning to get back to Kira before she did something stupid. He walked out of his room and started heading back over to Kira's. He began to grow impatient after walking several minutes and released his wings, feeling them tear his black shirt that he was wearing. His shirt feel to the ground in shreds as he took of into the sky heading for Kira's room. He appeared on the window and sat on the edge, one leg hanging out the window, his back against the side and his other knee was bent with his foot on the window seal. "Hi again." He says in a dark tone and a blank expression.

Kisa read her schedule. "I have the first class with you and then..." That is when Damien flew up and came to the window. She looked at him. Smiled weakly at him. "Hi. Then Art, Advance Literature, and then lunch, Advance physics and something called organic chemsitry." She said smiling. She looked at Damian. "Do you guys have any classes togetheer?" She said as put her schedule away.

Damian replied with a sour tone, "Nothing, but lunch." He got off the window and walked over to Kisa, "What are you?" He wasn't happy, that was obvious. He hated how the smell of her sweet blood filled his mind and nearly drove him to insanity. His eyes had changed to a blood red, and showed his burning thirst for her blood. He grabbed Kisa's wrists and pushed her against the wall, holing her there without any struggle and his head moving to her neck, he licked it and smirked, "You taste so yummy."

By that time Kira had rushed over to him and was trying to pull him away from Kisa. "Damian! Stop! Your going to hurt her!" Kira wasn't happy about his behavior to her roommate. She pulled as his arm harder, but with no avail. Finally she let go and moved to she was behind him. "You can have my blood sir." She said in a seductive tone, then licked his neck. Damian released Kisa and grabbed Kira, pushing her onto her bed. He climbed on top of her and sank his fangs deep into her neck and took a long drink. Once he was done he got off her and left, not able to believe what he had done. She'll hear about this later.

Kira got up after he left and looked at Kisa, her neck already healing. Once it healed not a single trace remained. "I'm sorry for his behavior Kisa, I really am. He just can't always control himself. I'd understand if you want to change rooms." She said and looked down.

When Kisa was being held against the wall her eyes expanded in fear, her heart pounding. She stared at him and then when she felt him lick her neck, she was strucken with fear. When he had let go of her and raced towards Kira, she dropped to her knees and watched as he sucked her blood. Vampires. She saw it all. When Kira and Damian stopped, She quickly got up, yet her eyes couldn't keep off of Damian.
Kisa looked at Kira. "Oh, no, its..." Her voice faded. She grabbed a towel and some clothes. "Well, I haven't taken a shower since a day ago because of my travels, so I will have to leave you two here alone. Sorry." Her bang covered half of her face, so the only thing you could see was her mouth and from the looks of it, it wasn't happy, nor was it sad, frighten, or anything. Emotionless. She walked out and down the hall.

She stopped and turned into the public showerroom by the gym and dropped her clothes. She sat on the bench and started to see the memories in her head of her past.

Dani's eyes slowly opened. She was laying in her new bed in her new room, all of her things neatly placed around the room as well as her clothes, all perfectly folded and hung. Not a wrinkle in sight. That's the way she liked her stuff. Organized and perfect. She stretched and headed to her closet and removed a t-shirt and skinny jeans with rips and tears in them. She changed quickly and applied a bit of blush to either cheak and eyeliner under each eye. She ratted the back of her hair, giving her some volume. She sighed and looked across the room to the empty bed beside her. She had just moved in last night and she was eager to find out who would be bunking with. She slung her backpack over her shoulder and glanced back into the mirror to make sure that she looked alright. The quick look turned into a stare as her eyes traveled over the body of her reflection. Light skin placed over a slim, curvy builded girl. Her hair long and black, straight as usual and her dark blue eyes landed on the reflection of her shining orbs. She sighed, hating the color of her eyes she turned away from the reflection that looked bad to her. But she did not realize how wrong she was, anyone could see the beauty that hid behind those black swept over bangs, but alas, Dani never saw it. She headed out the door and pulled a slip of paper out of a pocket in her backpack and looked over her class schedule. Her first period was to teach her to control her fire powers. Room 891. She had no idea where to start looking.

"Very well then." Kira said and laid in her bed again, hoping that she hadn't lost a potential friend. She lays there for a while, then gets up and grabs a jacket. She writes Kisa a note and puts it on her bed.

Kisa,
I will return shortly, going to go exploring a bit. I'll be back later tonight. Sorry again.

She leaves her room and walks off campus. She eventually finds a lake a sits on a rock near the water and throws a small stone. "Stupid Kira, stupid." She knew Damian would find her eventually, but she laid down on the rock and closed her eyes, the sun setting in the sky.

Kisa got into the shower and hopped out in about 10 minutes. She wrapped a towel around her and twisted her hair, letting the water drain out of it in the sink. She let it fall, still in a curled style as if laid on her shoulders and chest. She walked forward to the locker where she had her clothes and got dress. It made her feel alot better.
She walked through the halls, carrying her clothes that she had on before. She had on a tank top and a jeaned-skirt that went down to her upper thighs, though not too short. She walked into the room and found the note. She started to feel bad about her leaving. She dumped her clothes into a small bag and decided that Friday will be her laundry day.
She walked out after slipping on her flip-flops and started to walk around. She should probably say sorry to Damian too. She felt as if it was her fault... but then again, it wasn't her fault that he wass a vampire niether. She kept walking and walked through a small courtyard where there was small flowerbeds and a bench and such. She sat on the bench, her hair lightly fell upon her back as she plopped down.

Damian spotted Kisa siting in the courtyard as he looked for Kira. He walked over to her and stood in front of her, still shirtless. "Mind if I sit?" He asked her, wanting to make things rite after his rude behavior. He sat anyway and turned to her. "I'm sorry about earlier, your blood is just... wow." He said a sincere expression on his face. "I didn't mean to scare you, I just hadn't fed in days and well your blood was flooding my mind. I promise it won't happen again." He said looking around once again for Kira, starting to worry.

Kira awoke now, the sun done and the fireflies dancing around the lake and in the sky. She looked up at the stars and smiled. Night was her favorite, all the shadows, the dark, but her favorite part of it was the creatures. She got up and stared at the water, wanting to dive in, but knowing that would be incredibly stupid. Suddenly a wave of dizziness falls over her and she falls to her knees, and soon passes out.

~Flashback~
Kira saw herself back when she was little, playing with other children in a small lake, similar to the one she had found. "Come on Kira!" She said then saw herself on a large rock, then jumping off of it and landing safely into the water as her friends cheered.

~Reality~
Kira laid there passed out near the lake her body shaking as her memory flooded her mind.

Kisa looked at him."Oh! Its ok. I understand." She said with her weak little smile. "Im sorry too." She said smiling. Though, she had to admit it. It was kinda scary, and she was a little embarressed to show that she was afraid. She looked at his worried face. "Kira said that she was out exporing." She spoke as she jumped up. She held out her hand towards to help him up off the bench. "Come on, we can go look for her. Im sure she should be around here somewhere." She smiled.

Damian smiled and took her hand, "Sure lets go." They started walking and he led her off campus. "So do you have any idea at all on where she went?" He said with a worried tone scared she had gotten herself into trouble. "I'll warn you now, but Kira is attracted to trouble. Be prepared." He said and herd something in the distance, "This way." He said and grabbed Kisa's hand. He gained speed the closer he got to here and finally stopped. "Come." He said and picked Kisa up, realizing that she was starting to trip on herself and not able to keep up, then he began to run. Soon they reached the lake and he put Kisa down. "Start searching." He said then a awful scream was heard, it was Kira. Then he saw her, hanging onto the edge of a rock about to fall with a wolf over her. "Hurry, she can't fall into the water. I'll get the wolf and you get her." He said his wings fully extended and already flying towards. He slammed into the wolf, knocking him away from Kira and wrapped his hangs around his neck, trying to hold it back as it lashed around.

Kira had awoken from her flashback as a wolf pounced on her, she screamed and pushed it off of her, then looked around quickly for somewhere to run to, but it pounced onto her again and she fell off the rock, barely grabbing onto the rocks edge in time. She cried, not knowing what to do. Okay think..... A) get eaten by a wolf, or B) Fall into the water. Both wouldn't end well.

Kisa saw that he was ahead of her and couldn't keep up. When he picked her up, it was much easier, though, she did feel a bit awkward that he was shirtless and he was carrying her. When she saw the wolf, and how fast everything happened, She ran towards Kira. "Grab my hand!" She said, reaching her hand down to catch her.

Kira grabbed her hand, holding onto it tightly, scared to fall. "Please don't let me fall, please." She begged, it obvious that she was crying. Once shes finally up she runs over to Damian, who had just thrown the wolf into the lake. "Are you stupid?! Going out by yourself, and at night to top it all off!" He yelled at her, obvious frustration in his voice. She looked down and spoke in a whisper, "I-I'm sorry." She said wanting to cry. Damian sighed and pulled her into a tight hug, "It's fine. Just be more careful, you know how much I care about you. Now lets head back and get that cut taken care of." He said and let go of her and looked at kisa, "Thank you, she means a lot to me. I've been with her since she was 11 and she's like a sister to me." He said and went to Kisa, "Also, sorry for ordering you around." He was starting to warm up to Kisa and by the looks of it, he would soon accept her as a friend.

Kisa smiled. "Not at all!" She said smiling. Her hands where scraped and she put them behind her back, with a small flicker of green light, they where healed in an instint. "We are friends anyways." She said smiling. She looked at Kira and Damian. "Are guys you hurt?" She asked. She didn't really know that she had a small scrape on her knee. Though, it wasn't that big of a deal. She brushed off her skirt and gave them her weak little smile.

"Kira has a cut in her arm from the wolf, but her vampiric powers should take care of it." He smells blood again and almost chokes, his eyes starting to turn a sorta pinkish color. "Blood. You should heal your knee." He says and moves away from her. "Friends sound good to me, but we need to keep your blood out of the equation." He said and held Kira in his arms tight, hoping she'd behave herself from now on. "And for you, do i need to babysit you or should I give you a second chance?" Kira blushes and looks at him, "A second chance would be good."

Kisa looked at him and then her knee. "Thanks." She said bending down to heal her knee. She looked at the two and smiled. They reminded her of a family she never really had. She then looked over and at the lake. She could see why Kira came here. It was very pretty. She looked at the two. "Well, Im going to go. Ok?" She said, giving them her weak smile. Her smiles where always so weak and frail and broken. She hasn't noticed it herself, but it was there ever since her biological parents abandoned her.
She smiled and waves good bye and walks off even before they could say something. She walked through the woods and about 10 minutes, she could see the gate.

Damian and Kira stayed at the lake for a little while taking in the night. "Are you hungry, Kira?" Damian asked he smirked, loving when he got to watch her hunt. Kira smiles and nods, then they leave into the woods.

Several hours later Kira walks into her room, with blood on her skin and dress. She grabs a pair of shorts and a tank top, then towel and heads off to the showers. She takes a quick ten minute shower, then changes and goes back to her room and puts her laundry in a pile.

By the time Kira was out of the shower, Kisa was just getting inside the school. Her flip-flops where muddy and such from hiking through the woods. She took them off and patted them together. She headed towards the public showers and rinsed her shoes in the cold sink water. After that, she walked barefooted to her room and opened the door. She smiled at Kira and grabbed her pajamas, which where some sweats and a sweat-shirt. She smiled and went to the bathroom to change. She came back and jumped backwards on her bed.

"Hi Kisa!" Kira said happy her roommate was still there. "Ya know, that Damian could've carried or flew you back, rite?" She says and chuckles, remembering how far the walk was. "Well anyway your blood should be safe for a while, we did some hunting and he's nice and full now." She decides to keep her area clean and moves her dirty clothes into a hamper that she had put at the end of her bed. She crawls into bed and lays on her side facing Liliana. Damian soon crawled in through a window in a pair of ripped jeans, with several chains connected. "Hey!" He says and smiles and sits on the floor between their beds. "How are ya girls?" He says and stanks up, realizing that Kira had sat up. He moves and sits on her bed with her, then pulls Kira onto his lap. "How about we all get to know each other? I'm sure you have at lease a few questions Kisa." He said to her and smiled, wanting to know more about her.

Kisa looked at them. She smiled at the both of them. "O-ok." She said with hesitation in her voice. She looked at them. "Uhm..." She started to think, her finger up to her mouth. She should start of with the basics. "Where are you guys from?" She said looking at them. It was a simple question that wasn't too deep and shouldn't been hard to answer, but then again, she dosen't know much of where she came from.
