As you fly into the Sandium Galaxy, you see an old, beat up billboard that says↓

OUR GALAXY IS ONE OF THE SAFE-

THE FIFTH SANDIUM MILLITARY WARNS YOU TO TURN YOUR SHIP AROUND NOW
THIS GALAXY IS IN THE MIDDLE OF WAR

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
You ignore the billboard, and fly past. Who cares? You are coming to participate in the war, which cause to work for is the question. The Interspatial's, the black-feathered race. This race moves bipedally. They have the ability to withstand a wide range of temperatures. They now largely live in virtual reality. They are a hermaphroditic race, or so you've heard. Or what about the Zeta's? The fungus-based race. This race has stubby limbs. They can adsorb the DNA of another species and take on its traits. They are famous for producing craftsmen. They shed their integument as they grow, they might be a good choice. The only other choice would be the Tomber's the cumbersome race that resembles the living mummy of egyptian mythology. By tradition, they are a race of researchers. They now largely live in virtual reality. They reproduce quickly. Their economy is dependent on one technology: faster-than-light travel. They return insults with violence. Their government is a dictatorship, they would be a good choice, but who knows? Your choice will be decided later on, after you hear their stories. But your just in it for money. And thats all. The odd thing is, The Interspatial's, Zeta's and Tomber's are the only races involved in this war, as there are several races in the Fifth Sandium Galaxy. Such as the Scorpii, Kochab, Electrodroids, Parahunters, Eclipsi and The Biofiends. Maybe they will get sucked into the war, maybe they wont, it's a mystery. The war is only beginning.

This is a quick reference guide to The Sandium Galaxy
↓Species↓
Interspartial: The black-feathered race. This race moves bipedally. They have the ability to withstand a wide range of temperatures. They now largely live in virtual reality. They are a hermaphroditic race.
Zeta: The fungus-based race. This race has stubby limbs. They can adsorb the DNA of another species and take on its traits. They are famous for producing craftsmen. They shed their integument as they grow.
Tomber: The cumbersome race that resembles the living mummy of egyptian mythology. By tradition, they are a race of researchers. They now largely live in virtual reality. They reproduce quickly. Their economy is dependent on one technology: faster-than-light travel. They return insults with violence. Their government is a dictatorship.
Scorpii: The sinister race of humanoid/scorpions. By nature, they are very carnivourus, yet somehow, civilized. Their government is a Dictatorship, they are ruled by a race of silicon based creatures from a different galaxy, living machines, nothing much is known of them due to the fact that they are ruled by cruel living machines.
Kochab: The tall, semi-gaseous, bony-plated race. Their long snouts are powerful sensory organs. They are herbivores. They are famous for producing traders. They are known to have terrible body odor. Their major advancements are in weaponry. They are extremely morose. Their government is efficient.
Electrodroids: A skeletal, copper based species, they don't need to eat. They can conduct electricity and expel it in bolts of lightning through any part of their bodies, the solders of this species wear electric generators on their backs, hooked up to their arms, as you can see, they don't need weapons, although they are normally peaceful. They are a Theocracy, a monotheism, they worship a god named Pho'lakruagt.
Parahunters: The bulky-looking, dark-feathered, winged race. They have powerful hearing. This race has no specific manipulatory appendages. They are lithovores. They are an all-male race, they reproduce through cloning. They are very dishonest. They work behind the scenes, uplifting other races. Their world of origin is mineral-poor, has several, broken rings surrounding it and is known for being an excellent place to observe astronomical phenomena. They require no air to live. They are hunters, they swoop down and grab their prey from above.
Eclipsi:The elegant race of black furred canines. Many members of their species are researchers. Their major technical achievements are in botany. They work behind the scenes, uplifting other races. They were once a dead people - what brought them back to life is a matter of speculation. They come from a high-gravity, flourishing, resource-rich, night world.
Bloodfiends: The red-furred race. They are a race blood-sucking of conquerors. Their society is dependent on one technology: teleportation. They are naturally cooperative. They come from a high-gravity world that is known for being home to powerful fatal blood diseases.
