No, Storm is 19 and Sky is 15. Just the majority is 22 lol.

Re: The Invasion - Redux (OOC)

We're all 22 in this town!

Re: The Invasion - Redux (OOC)

Not quite, I typically only allow information to be passed out through role playing. He is 22 years old, however. Works in an undisclosed place so far; manages the online community. He doesn't actually know if he has met anyone on his online site, in real life, though. She would have most-likely seen him around after getting home from work, he might be outside on his laptop, washing his car, etc. He lived diagonally to her house's right.

Re: The Invasion - Redux (OOC)

By the way, is there any character sheet for Ace? I just wanted to see how Victoria and he might know each other, if he was young enough to be one of her students or if he was the same age, etc.

A Brave New World

Just for citing that, you are absolutely more than welcome to take part in this. I just made another new post; though it is rather short, it would be a great entrance for you if you were among the first of the survivors found.

Re: The Invasion - Redux (OOC)

Victoria Langstrom

Age: 22

Occupation: Literature professor at the local high school

Basics: Victoria is a somewhat sassy, opinionated woman, never one to back down in an argument. Her temper, although heated when brought on, is for the most part kept in check. She has a somewhat cynical sense of humor, sometimes causing her to come off as bitter or negative. Despite her frequent use of sarcasm, though, she has her genuine moments, in which a slightly gentler and sweet Victoria reveals herself. Under pressure she does alright, though she usually becomes more prickly and irritable than normal, lashing out with spiteful, sarcastic comments at poor individuals that just happen to have said the wrong thing at the wrong time. She has always loved to read, especially science fiction. This being, her all time favorite novel is A Brave New World.

Her reaction to the discovery of aliens was similar to the majority of the population, though mixed with a giddy bit of excitement. After all, it's like a scene straight out of one of her sci-fi novels, except real. Will she still think that if the aliens prove to be less then peaceful? Probably not.

*Appearance: Victoria is a rather attractive woman with a curvy build, kept toned through jogging and yoga classes. Her face is made up of clearly feminine features; a soft, bow shaped mouth, subtly prominent cheek bones and intelligent hazel-green eyes. Often pulled into a hasty and half falling out up-do, her hair is a copper brown, falling a couple inches past her shoulder blades when left down. She has an olive toned complexion, unblemished for the most part asides from a faint birth mark on her right shoulder.

imogen_22 wrote:"Aw, stop it, Ben. You're making me blush." Marty batted a hand in mock embarrassment before clasping both behind his head, lying across the couch. Upon reflection, he realized that the fact Ben had homemade cheesecake in his fridge was slightly ominous. Not that Marty was an expert, but Ben never seemed to be the baking type.

He was going to make a comment as the man entered the room again, precariously balancing an old silver tray on one hand, but stopped. For some reason that Marty couldn't quite pin point, Ben's expression looked different. Very slightly, yes, but different, somehow tainted with...wistfulness? Marty frowned. He himself had never found cheesecake to be a particularly depressing food, and he certainly didn't think that Ben was the type to be saddened by a dense, cheese based confection. Obviously, he was missing something.

Jo's question cut off his pondering train of thought. Flipping over to face her, he imitated her position, with his head propped up with both hands. "Well, you could say I'm a freelance photographer. But the term freelance constitutes actually working, which I honestly don't do much of," he grinned, "So I think a more appropriate term would be a part-time freelance photographer."

"And how do I know Ben?" he scratched his cheek, thinking. "A couple years ago, we both happened to be working with the same magazine. Some guy, and we've yet to know if he was mentally stable or not, decided to put us together on a project and the rest," he flopped back down again, "is history."

He finally had to sit properly to accept his portion of cheesecake and a much needed mug of coffee. Marty took a bite, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the cake was half decent. "Not bad, Ben. But I'm guessing this," he gestured to the cake, "isn't your doing?"
