On a small island in the Pacific there is a group of people. They had been put there for one hundred years to study the vegetation and animals, which were unlike our usual ones. But after one hundred years their descendent's were to be taken back to where they had come from, which was from all over the world. After a time, they became known, to the few who knew about them, as the Kusai-jin. The day for the Kusai-jin to go back to where their ancestors had originated had come, the goverment had sent airplanes, each headed for different countries, to take them all back home. But a group of teenagers, some who weren't very acquainted, had gotten lost in the forest. When they got back out, they couldn't find anyone from their tribe, but ran into each other. After a few hours of searching, they realized they had been stranded on the island, alone. Where as they had grown up on the island and knew how to survive, there was the fact of the rabid and dangerous Scalpions. They were a mutated version of the normal Scorpions, except as large as a full grown man and more dangerous then anything 'normal'. The large tribe of the Kusai-jin had been able to keep them away by their numbers and with different contraptions and uses of fire, but the thing was that the Scalpions adapted quickly to the new repellent, so the same thing never worked twice. The Kusai-jin, too, had slightly mutated with the time. They now had control over an element, water, fire, earth, or air, which had been given to them by the islands unseen protector, Subarashii Mono, at birth. Some of them had slightly physically mutated as well, some had cat ears, or fangs, and some even had wings or other physical differences. Now, the teenagers must learn to survive on the island of Koto and work together until they are able to get off of the island, that is if they will even want to leave.
