Hearing a far off siren, Kaylee ran over to her friends and grabbed their hands, dragging them back to the Walmart and practically tossing them into Nommy. She slid into the driver's seat and the tires squealed as she drove to McDonalds, telling the other two girls to stay while she rushed in and grabbed Seth, pulling him like he had the others. She sped off one more down the street, dodging skillfully through traffic and hopping the sidewalk where necessary.
"Hold on tight!" Kaylee hit the gas harder as they popped onto the sidewalk, the little car rocketing past the early evening rush to get home.
She swerved off and dodged a little Sedan to reach the freeway ramp, barely noticing which direction the traffic on it was going.
