Name:[Doctor] Everett Camille
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Appearance:
At 5'11" Everett isn't all that tall, but he does flaunt some muscle and very little fat; he weighs in at about 185. His eyes are a green and gray combination that blend nicely, the green being more noticeable near the pupil and the gray towards the whites of the eye. His features are soft and rounded, giving him a young look. His nose does nothing to accentuate his features, but it does not hinder the flow of his face in the least. His lips are well maintained, thanks to his trusty tube of Minty, tingle-inducing chap-stick. His chin plays host to a scraggly-looking, hardly maintained beard that never seems to grow, nor shrink. He sports a medium-sized neck that preludes his small shoulders, which give way to a well-toned chest. His abs, while not a full six-pack, are at least a four. He enjoys being healthy and it shows within his muscle tone.
Occupation: Group Dynamics Counselor, Therapist, and Psychologist for the company. (Originally from The FBI's BAU Unit, he went here on a sort of "brain vacation" because.. Well, you'll see in his history.)
Personality: Fiery, he can lose his temper, but he doesn't like to yell. When he gets mad, he broods, speaks calmly, and replies curtly. He has a passion for a specific set of minds: delusional war veterans, anyone with an IQ over 170 and an eidetic memory, and serial killers. His job requires him to become one with the criminals, to understand them, to know them better than they know themselves. The job puts stress on him, and it shows. He often drifts off into his version of Hell, pictures of victims, delusions of killers, screams of the insane; they haunt him like a putrid ghost, disturbing his mental state and health. He tries not to show it, but dreams plague his nights, keeping him awake till the wee hours of the morning. He drinks more coffee than he should, thinks far too often, and goes much too far.
History: It all started in a tiny town in Mississippi. A young, pretty Baptist girl named Anna Lee Baker fell in love with young Jack Camille. In a whirlwind of emotions, and heated disapproval from her parents, Anna Lee married Jack Camille and they packed their bags, heading for Virginia, where it snowed more than once every five years. By the time they had become acquainted with the city, Anna Lee had become pregnant. It was a boy - Everett Camille. He was born on December 9, 1976. His sister, Meredith, was born two years later on September 17th.
His childhood held no real life-changing incidents for him, his uncle died, his grandmother recovered from cancer. He became fascinated with the mind after he read The Silence of the Lambs (by Thomas Harris). The minds of the mad soon became fascinating to him and he devoured every word of fiction and nonfiction works regarding killers, diving into their minds and learning how they thought.
He graduated from High School and attended college, majoring in Psychology. He now owns a doctorate in it and has been out of college for about two years, working directly with the FBI and police departments. He's currently working to publish a book on the concept of "Nature vs. Nurture/Good Seed vs. Bad Seed" entitled, "The Runaway Mind: Killers and Their Pasts", where he'll be talking on the points of "The Triad", abusive homes, predispositions to violence, and parenting habits (or rather, lack their of.).
His love life consisted of only five women throughout his whole life: Jane Adams, deemed "Clingy", Laura Evans, deemed "Psycho" (not in a good way.), Rachel Graham, deemed "the only nice one", Temperance le Carte, AKA "the one I married in kindergarten", and Michelle Lennon, "She's so out of my league." He never held on to them for more than two years, and they all gave him some sort of trouble. They couldn't really take the whole "No lying" thing, but, since he could tell when they lied, they had no choice. A few of them got creeped out by his ability to know what they were feeling, even subconsciously.
He was ordered to take a vacation from his job, but, being Everett, he couldn't just stop being a Psychologist. His partner pulled a few strings and got him a job at the company until he was deemed fit for work. The reason he was ordered to take a break is because he chased down a killer and punched him. They don't know if he was truly the killer or not..
He works with the workers, the bosses, and just about everyone from the lunch lady to the CEO. He runs the manual psychological evaluations that all new employees must undergo and he does routine group dynamic sessions meant to strengthen teamwork abilities. And, as a plus, he gets to stay on the island all the time because they don't want him in the "real world" for a while because they're sort of afraid he might try to come back too soon and end up burning himself out. (His room is in the basement, where his office is as well. It's mostly below sea level.) When he was suspended, they did a routine psych evaluation and he never got the results back, but, the day after, he was told to go to the island and not to come back for a year. Along with his work, he's focusing on his manuscript as well.
Within the workforce he's liked. Every one turns to him for advice because of his training and his skills. He's always there for the workers and keeps his nose clean. They tell him things they wouldn't tell anyone else and he can't tell another soul because it's confidential. To most people he comes off nice and reserved but once you get to know him he's hilarious and witty. He can light up a room with a joke in a second but he's a tad obsessive in certain areas.
