Description

Height: 5' 5"'
Weight: 140 lbs
Age: 23
Left Eye Color: Blue
Right Eye Color: Red
Hair Color: Black (Formerly Blond)
Gender: Female

Personality

She's easy going for the most part, being serious when she needs to or wants to be, however, she is prone to explosive anger, though it is unclear why this is. Some suspect it may have been one of the side-effects of her soul being implanted back into her own body, or that the arrow that was removed before reimplantation caused something to go wrong in her head.

Equipment

Armor
Holy Order Mid-Plate - Heavy-plate, blessed by the Goddess Mirimilecia, is too heavy for anyone other than Alerisa to wear. The armor is soul-bound, and can only be worn by Alerisa herself without her being slowed down by its weight.

The pauldrons (shoulder guards) have 2 foot long capes/tassles hanging from them, normally signifying the qualifications of the Paladin. On each of Alerica's pauldrons, she has 1 Blue, 1 Red, 1 Black and 1 Orange cape/tassle signifying:
Blue: Healing Ability.
Red: Attack Magic.
Black: Weapons Expert.
Orange: The Servants of Mirimilecia, Goddess of Judgment.
Holy Order Chain Mail - worn in places where the plate doesn't cover.

Weapons
Dalenstar - A very large and cumbersome looking weapon. From tip to tip, the weapon is 6 feet long, with 3 handles, with handles 5 inches from the end and a handle in the center, on the opposite side from the blade. The weapon, under Alerica's power, is more than capable of cleaving a horse in two from breast to tail with very little effort. The weapon has been blessed by Mirimilecia for Alerica's use, allowing her to use the weapon as though it was no heavier than a dagger. The weapon is soul-bound to Alerica, no one else can wield the weapon aggressively.

Aside from Blessed, the Weapon has a Soul of her own, giving her a personality and the ability to talk to her wielder, though Dalenstar is not particularly talkative. Despite the weapon having a Soul of its own, Dalenstar still required a blessing so that she could be wielded on a person, as without the blessing, she would be nearly impossible to lift.

History

Alerisa owes the Goddess of Judgment, Mirimilecia, her life. When Alerica was 12, she was involved in an incident where her families wagon was attacked by bandits on the way to the Capitol of the Continent of Altania, Dalliford. Alerisa took an arrow directly into her right tempol, killing her instantly and forcing her soul to immediately linger until the attack was over.

Mirimilecia came to Alerica's lingering soul, judging her to be unfit for death, granting her life back in her own body. Alerica's hair would change from Blond to Black upon the reimplantation of her soul into her body. With her soul back in its body and both of her parents killed and her sister, Tirana, missing, Alerisa had nothing left, but wished to repay her debt to the Goddess of Judgment.

6 years later, at age 18, Alerisa would join the Order of Life, a Paldin order dedicated to serving God's and Goddesses of various religions. Alerica would qualify to join the Order 1 year later, before her 19th birthday. Her combat trials, blessings and vows would take place during the entire year between her indoctrination and her 20th birthday.

After that, it was to determine the weapon she would use, or rather, the weapon that would accept her as its wielder. Of the 10 weapons she was to select from, only Dalenstar would accept her. Dalenstar was one of the many Sovereign Angels from Heaven, near-gods and goddesses, above those of Archangels. Occasionally, Dalenstar will manifest in an ethereal form that Alerica and others may see and interact with. It's in this form that Dalenstar shows what she actually is, or rather, was. Dalenstar, like other Sovereign Angels, has 6 wings, set at separate angles from the others, and in a step patten upon her shoulder blades. However, unlike other Sovereigns, her feathers are tipped in a red color, where others would have plain white feathers. Dalenstar, before he cast out of the Sovereign Order, was on the verge of becoming a new Goddess, the Goddess of Life, to replace Antoinette, who was on the verge of stepping down due to the lack of followers. After Dalenstar was cast from the Sovereign Order, for an unknown transgression, she was forced to be the Soul of a Weapon, a unique weapon bearing her name, the Dalenstar.

During combat tests in the month of her 21st birthday, Alerica received a scar in a duel, running down from her right eyebrow down her cheek, the weapon that caused it barely missing her right eye. The incident turned the iris of her right eye red, while her left eye remained green, her natural eye color.

Sometime after that event, Alerica started to have nightmares of where she became a Dread Knight and started to unmercifully kill everyone and everything in sight. Whether this was a premonition or just a nightmare remains to be seen. In an act of kindness to stave off the nightmares, Mirimilecia would bless Alerica's left eye, turning the iris blue. Those around her perceive her Red iris and her Blue iris representative of the battle between the Light and the Dark.

After Mirimilecia was stripped of her power and cast to the mortal world, for showing favoritism to an individual who could very well be the downfall of the entire world. Alerica's left iris has inherited a red ring around the pupil and on the outside of the iris, either signifying Mirimilecia's blessing is weakening, or that the darkness within Alerica's soul is gaining strength.
