Anton Medevev harshly interjected, saying, "Person, your CQC means nothing."

Anton Medevev drops into his setting of choice; a desert warzone.

Anton Medevev stands atop a massive bluff overlooking a mud-brick village bisected by a roaring river. Bushes and date palms line each side of the river, but they quickly fade into rocky flats. The bluff extends into the difference in both directions, while the other side of the river fades from greenery to flats to gentle rolling hills of sand.

Anton Medevev looks closer, noticing a broken-down convey in the center of the village. The road leading into the horizon from the village is pockmarked in places, but looks freshly grated.

Anton Medevev raises his arm, somehow drawing attention to thunderous booms in the distance and fresh columns of smoke coming from the village. The sounds of life follow. Moving into action, he slams a clip into the sandstone wall of the bluff and rapples down, frequently catching and bracing himself with his combat boots/cleats.

Anton Medevev pauses, a civilian vehicle at the end of the convey catching his eye. Who could be there?

Anton Medevev snarls, disconnecting from his rappelling line and dropping to the ground in a crouch. He sees the woman holding a machinegun and thinks, probably an insurgent. But thankfully the village had width, and once he dissapeared behind one of the mud-brick buildings, he would be hidden. Anton withdrew his SMG, shouldering it and holding it barrel-upwards. He circled around the villiage, waving denizens to be silent or else. Who was she? She wasn't Technocratic, for sure.

Anton Medevev smelled like ozone and motor oil, both of which the wrecked convey REEKED of. He whipped around the corner of another building, jumping onto a mud fence, and leaped onto a flat mud roof. The village unfolded before him, giving away its labyrinthine construction. He saw a running figure, assumed it was the girl, and like he had been told in Basic, made a series of three-shot bursts directly ahead of her trajectory.

Anton Medevev moved liked a butterfly, stung like a bee. Like some other guy named Mohammad, he raised his rugged SMG at the eagle as it was incoming, and as he the girl appeared ten feet in front of him, he took cover. Her gun and her shield were obvious, prompting him to jump from the way. A stray bullet struck his shoulder, grazing the top joint on his powered armor, but he was behind the building, inside a small courtyard, before the rest of the volley could reach him

Anton Medevev trained his gun on the tunneling dog as the earth gave way, and let all hell lose. 5.77-mm rail bullets, packing enough punch to defeat "modern" body armor, would chew through the shapeshifting thing like it was paper.

Anton Medevev felt the machinegun bullets pepper, dent, and break through his midsection, hitting and impacting on his impact-gel undersuit. But now he was in close range, allowing him to lung forward, twining his arm around around Arreulette's one remaining and pressesing his SMG to her stomach and firing.

Anton Medevev | Unfortunately a machine gun has more mass than a pistol, allowing Anton precious time to regaining his grip and push upwards, hopefully diverting her angle of fire. He pulled back his left arm, cocking it and fired again; this time the hail of bullets was aimed for her head and neck, where it would hopefully pierce her spinal column of brainstem.

Anton Medevev 's polarized faceplate took the brunt of the flames, ruining its embedded display circuitry. It may have been hardened against EMP, but fire overheated the crystal circuits and caused them to break their connectors. His holo-hud, projected from the side, remained intact. And then Arreuellete made a fatal move; as she morphed into a beetle, Anton stamped down with his cleated combat boots, hopefully driving climbing spikes deep into the creature and killing it once and for all.

Anton Medevev kneed the morphing creature in the leg, directing her fire upwards like she was a greenhorn. The bullets flew into the air, raining over the village. Knowing this creature was damn hard to damage, Anton rapidly unclipped a grenade and dropped it into the forming crystal sheild. Then he ran, jumping the wall as Arruelette turned her gun on him. The bullets ripped into his shoulder, destorying his left arm.

Anton Medevev direction Gambit's bar

Anton Medevev exclaims, "Saken! My favorite par- neko!" Jumping up from his seat, he embraces the Neko thing and plops her down in the seat beside him.

Anton Medevev - only to roll and hit the floor, smoothing the Neko under him, as something massive blew through the wall.
