Archemedes | The golden cloaked figure pushed past Pandora to enter the bar, turning his head only enough to mutter a vague apology. He then proceeded to push open the door, but rather than let it swing shut behind him he spun and caught it was a sliver glove, holding it open to allow her to enter. He seemed to wait for Pandora's reaction.
Archemedes let the door swing shut as soon as she entered and then went on his way to sit in a seat that was beside the fire place, far away from everyone else in the bar. He leaned back in his chair and kicked his feet up onto the table as he produced an intricatly carved and ornate bone flute with an aquamarine mouth piece. He looked around the room once before letting his fingers dance across the four staggered lines of holes down its body, releasing a light and calming melody into the air.
Archemedes pauses at one moment and notices he has a listener sitting on the floor. As he recalled, she was the woman he held to door open for... He felt a little nervous, for he didn't know what to say or do. Archemedes was a Dingo Lycan, though his kind had an issue of their more animal forms taking on appearance with his humanoid form, just like Saldon. He wondered what to do before desciding to play again, just hoping he could go on unnoticed again, he didn't come here to attract attention, it wasn't his job.
Archemedes stopped playing to glance at the woman's comment. He did enjoy compliments and his tongue started to hang out of his mouth bnut he stopped himself. This wasn't his place to get side tracked and he continued to play the flute, his magic hidden within the song continued to scope out the dimensions of the new bar and identify what rooms had a lot of wide open space.
Archemedes was finished then and set his flute aside. He stood up then and, just like when he entered the bar, he left without a word. His job done,
Archemedes
was not far behind, yet his entrance was more a rough shoulder, snapping many of the offending branches out if the way as he gave a slight stumble into the glen. The cool grass felt nice on the pads of his feet. The hood of his cloak was down, sun gleaming off his golden fur as he shaded his eyes to look around, his solitary tail still hidden for now as he hastened his pace to catch up. I don't know how you get get through all that unharmed but I assume it isn't something I can learn?
His half muzzle went to a smile before he bent down to kiss her cheek. So...
He said as he observed their surroundings, Where shall we set this?
His lifted the basket and blanket as one and looked at her with a small grin.
Archemedes
went off ahead now, since the tight quarters of the tress were behind him, making his way down to a small bank by the pond and the stream as he set down the basket and unfolded the blanket. It was a solid blue and had a fie stitch marks in it, as it was once one of his older cloaks before it became the blanket, which worked perfectly as the enchantment still protected it against excessive cold and heat. He knelt down, beginning to remove stuff from the basket and paused looking at her. Are you sure this isn't some strange basket from those realms you make? It seems like it holds more supplies than any normal basket would...
He paused a moment to regard Chen, giving her a small smile before going back to unloading the basket.
Archemedes
chuckled and finished setting the places and utensils and unpacked the food before standing up to kiss her left cheek this time. He gave he a small wink, Just teasing you Ran.
He turned to look at Chen, who was bundled up tighter than the items in the picnic basket, kneeling down to rub her head a little, It is nice to finally meet you but I didn't realize you were even more adorable than what Ran told me about you.
He smiled again before rising, as he swept his arms to the side to offer ran a seat on the blanket, the moon peeked out from behind a cloud the silver light bathing their blanket and picnic in its glow.
Archemedes gave no indication of the wound. As his hand had swept into the moonlight, it became obvious his Lycan powers were stronger in the moonlight as the wound quickly healed. He regarded Chen before he gave a small grin, 'quote] Looks like someone might have to wash that dirty attitude out in that pond over there and I think it is safe to assume it rather cold. Now, Ran, [.quote] He turned his attention back to the Kitsune, gently taking her hand he would lead her over to the blanket and sit her down before moving over to take his own seat. He smiled warmly back his tail appearing now that he had sat down and wagging happily.
Archemedes
laughed and looked at Chen, If she will let me hold her I am certainly open to the option.
He paused and regarded her after her comment and smiled leaning in to kiss her cheek again, What is this nonsense about being old? All I see before me is a young and beautiful Kitsune who doesn't look a day over 24.
He looked to Chen again and gently reached out to take her in his arms. You are an odd little one... All my Feline Lycan friends thought I was the strange one for hanging out with them
He chuckled again.
Archemedes
chuckled and agreed, not holding Chen tightly enough to stop her squirming, should she choose to retreat to Ran. He sighed and glanced at Ran smiling as he saw the deep blush on her face and leaned closer. Sure fooled me... Say are you sure you are alright Ran, your face seems to be a bit rosy... Are you sure it isn't anything serious?
He smiled as he leaned in to rest his cheek on hers, his fur tickling her cheek as he did so.
Archemedes
looked to Chen. So Chen... What have you been doing today? Any exploring?
Archemedes could be a father figure if he wanted. Though something tugged at the back of his mind. Something about his younger brother. He shoved the though back and smiled down at the little girl. [quote]I really just want us to be friends until you see me as a father... So. IS there anything fun you would like to do here?[quote] Despite his calm attitude and the thoughts he fell strained at that moment. With the moonlight bearing down on him it took a lot of self control to keep him from turning into a dingo and that hurt more than his face would ever show. As a forced transformation from the moon was worse than any independent one he could perform.
Archemedes
looked at her and a sad expression filed his eyes as he glanced at Chen. Old memories... I just need to sort them out...
He gently lifted his tail until her slid away and moved off a ways to stare out at the pond. Looking down at his reflection the moonlight he gave a heavy sigh.
Archemedes' legs gave out from underneath him as splitting pain hit him with his guard down.
Archemedes Bones cracked and he yelled in agony his arms practically locked at his sides as more bones broke, reformed and shifted, the screaming falling to groans and moans of pain as he shifted down. Until his animal form collapsed into the water, him being out like a light from the sudden and unexpected change.
Archemedes
would be pulled out not in his human form but as a dingo. As fortune had it he somehow "forgot" to breath right when he entered the water so drowning wasn't an issue. and the other would fix itself with a yelp and a whimper before two names came slurred from the animal form Lurvin.... Crystal...
The whimpering continued as his legs seemed to "cringe" I'm sorry... I'm sorry I couldn't protect you... My beloved brother and sister...
In his mind was nightmare.
Archemedes
stirred as his eyes blinked open. He became aware that Ran was hugging hind whimpered as he turned his head to lick the bottom of her chin a bit eyes falling half closed, tears were still present despite his soaking fur. I'm sorry for this... i should be happy but not when it is their anniversary...
He tried to look away but just let his head fall to the ground again. 200 years... It has been that long... Since they were taken from me... My beloved brother and sister...
Archemedes
tilted his head to look at chen and for a second he say his brother and sister behind her before they vanished. He sighed and looked at his new daughter as he managed as best he could to smile. Yes... Daddy did make a big splash didn't he... I am sorry dear... Thanks to the cursed moon I will be stuck like this for the remainder of the night...
HE slowly rolled over to sit up, moving closer to Ran to lick her cheek and nuzzle into her a bit.
Archemedes
looked over Ran's shoulder at the little girl and chuckled as best as the body could manage. It seems we have forgotten to watch the picnic supplies... I hope it is still there...
He looked between the two and then paused, ears perking up as he head his stomach growl and his ears hugged his head as he looked away in embarasment, tail wagging slowly. Ugh...
Archemedes
gently moved away and stood up. As he walked pas chen he carfully and gently picked her up by the collar of her shirt or an improvised scruff.. COme on Little one... time for food...
He proceeded to carry her back to the blanket and set her down as he began to eye all the food, wondering what he should have first.
