Arella Tano
A tall and willowy Card Scrit who strikes others as an aesthetic nightmare thanks to her garishly homeless look. Dabbles some in Divination. A bit 'odd.'

Arella Tano "Yep yep!" A willowy smooth sort off voice snaked it's way under the far stall door and to the girl's ears, "She's crying, sure as the toad jumps. A far cry from home, little one, a far far cry.."
Arella Tano "Yep yep! She hears us now, the doll. Sure as the toad jumps! Shall we talk to her, little one? We shall!"
Arella Tano The sound of a toilet flushing, now. The far stall door swung open and out tottered the most..er..interesting woman Cloasse had probably ever seen.
Arella Tano She seemed to almost brush the ceiling, towering over the girl, but on closer examination it was revealed that this was mostly because of her wild hair. It was a frizzled, garish mane of mousy brown kept in the finest state of neglect. Just below (JUST below, no forehead seemed to exist) were two large slightly crossed eyes. They glimmered with kindness, though, and a bit further there was a pert mouth twisted in a smile.
Arella Tano Her wardrobe was something to bemoan, a large brown trenchcoat still too small for her height. Long leggings patched with different colors poked through. She clunked closer to the girl in large boots, further increasing the illusion of her inhuman height.
Arella Tano "Yep yep! Sure as she flies!"
Arella Tano The woman smiled, "We've been waiting for you!"
Arella Tano "Waiting, sure as the toad jumps!" A closer examination of the hair revealed a pair of eyes staring back, near the top-most parts. There was a rustling and a paper rat poked it's head through, blinking it's folded head and squeaking.
Arella Tano "Yep Yep! A scrit sure as she flies!" The extraordinary woman reached up to scratch the back of her neck. The motion revealed two pens of her own resting firmly behind each ear, "Say hello to Arliss, dear!"
Arella Tano The rat, Arliss, twitched delicate little paper whiskers.
Arella Tano "It's right nice to meet you. We've been waiting for almost three days. Just sitting, waiting, waiting. Saw you'd need our help. Yep Yep!" The scrit reached into her pocket and revealed a deck of cards. They were slimmed than most normal playing cards. The backs were a plain black. The extraordinary woman peeled a card from the top and flicked it. It flashed the distance between the two, and came to rest right between Cloasse's breasts.
Arella Tano "Yep yep!' The woman chuckled, "She looks like she belongs where she's going."
Arella Tano "I am Arella Tano. Card Scrit! And you are Cloasse, and you need help. Yep Yep, sure as the toad leaps. Saw you as I was meddling with the arts, you see. Flipping cards and seeing through, past, and beyond. You need help from only a true friend."
Arella Tano The extraordinary woman, this Arella Tano shifted weight from one foot to the other, "Saw you and the Godeaux in my home, I did. Made a right mess of things. But I looked into you, little one."
Arella Tano Arliss squeaked.
Arella Tano "That card will get you where you need to go." Arella seemed completely oblivious to the fact that Cloasse was seething, "Well, we may as well go back to waiting."
Arella Tano She trundled back to the stall, and the door swung shut. A few seconds of silence, and then some garbled muttering and one squeak.
Arella Tano The rune on the center of the card began to glow...
Arella Tano "Yep Yep! Bye Bye!"
Arella Tano wandered into the bar, muttering to herself. Her hair was a wild and untamed thing. It spoke volumes of the level of care left to it--wild and matted, sticking straight up in bits making the woman seem inhumanly tall.
