Description

The only word that can be used to describe Arif is Average. And this suites him just fine with the profession he's chosen. He is of average height and his loose clothing hides a body that is wirey and thin. He has dull brown eyes to match his hair. When his brown hair is let free of its leather tie, it falls just below his shoulders. He sticks to shadows and doesn't tend to stand out in a crowd. He walks with a leisurely stroll and doesn't catch anyone's attention.

Personality

Arif considers himself to be a pessemistic opptimist. On the surface, he is very cheerful and easy to get along with. In truth, he is very careful and cautious of new people. Other then Elisa, there is no person that he allows to gain his trust. He likes to work alone and despises having to rely on another person.

Equipment

At any moment in time, these are the items that can be found on Arif's person.

Knives, lock picking equipment, a few coins, a spare sack to carry spur of the moment theivings, .....

History

As a young boy, Arif had only his mother. She took care of her son as best she could, but she was a prostitute by profession and this was not the best of environments to raise a child. When he was just five years of age, his mother became ill and soon passed away. His quick fingers and resourcefulnes helped him to survive on the unforgiving streets. When he was nine, a portly woman named Elisa who ran a bakery took him in. He has a fierce loalty to the widowed woman as do all of the orphans she rescues. As he grew older, he tried to find jobs to help Elisa financially. However, the sticky fingers of his youth would not let him go. As a result, he was quickly chased away from his jobs because things tended to go missing. After causing Elisa much trouble calming down irrate townsfolk, Arif hit the road. He roamed from cities to towns with no apparent destination. He never stayed in place for long or he would run the risk of getting caught. Always though, he would find his way back to Elisa's bakery and give her the money he had been able to collect on his journies. She would always scold him and grummble under her breath that he was a trouble maker when he came to visit her, but in truth, he had a special place set aside in her heart.
