A young blind woman in a steampunk Victorian Era world, who was born with the ability to see and interact with ghosts.
Dark brown hair and pale blue, heavily lidded eyes. Fair skin with a few freckles across her nose. She stands at 5' 5" and has a slim form that is usually clothed humbly in muted colors and the simplest of gowns. She is never very attention-grabbing or loud in dress or behavior. She almost always wears a wide-brimmed bonnet.
Bonnie is sweet, quiet, and calm. She is not easily frightened, nor angered, to the point of being frustrating to others around her.
A walking stick. It's just a stick that can fold out and stuff. She could give someone a bruise if she hit them hard enough with it, but she's probably too sweet to do so without great provocation. Also, her spirit-seeing eyes.
Bonnie was born blind, but seemed from a young age to have an unusual amount of imaginary friends. It wasn't until her teenage years that even she realized what it was she was seeing...but from that moment onward, she began to use her inexplicable gift to help, to the best of her ability, those on both sides of the veil of death who had been separated from loved ones. Perhaps as a result of her tender work, she has developed a tendency to speak softly and act as more of a mediator than an instigator.
Over the years she has gained quite the following of mysticism-loving 'fans,' and has even worked alongside the police once or twice, when the chief in charge is feeling particularly open-minded. Bonnie's stalwart assistant, Doctor Edward Granville, accompanies her most everywhere.
