Crystal Bermuda's Story

Crystal Bermuda was not pleased. Oh no, she was not. Her fingers tapped a steady rhythm on the bar countertop, itching to pick up a bottle of something and take a big swig. But she resisted the temptation; getting drunk wouldn't help her think any clearer. Instead, she sat back and waited for Doryn to show himself.

Crystal Bermuda glared at Doryn, eye changing colours rapidly in her aggravation. Finally, the whirlwind of colours stopped, and she said in a clear, crisp voice, "I want to know just WHAT the HELL you were thinking."

Crystal Bermuda stood up abruptly, bristling with rage. "Screwing around with her mind! Do you have any idea how furious they are?!" she snapped, striding closer to him. Grabbing the front of his shirt, she snarled, "You just made my life even more difficult, Legacy. Congrats."

Crystal Bermuda tightened her grip as a low growl rippled out of her throat. She was close to losing it; she could feel it - and at the moment, she couldn't really find it in herself to give a damn. "You disrupted the true timeline, Doryn," she explained quietly, pupils becoming slitted like a cat's before they rounded out again to begin the cycle anew. "I am rather displeased - even more so than my 'employers'."

Crystal Bermuda let go of Doryn's shirt abruptly, pushing him back with a bit more strength than neccessary. "You could use this knowledge to your advantage," she explained quietly. "Now, you give me one good reason as to why I shouldn't wipe that memory right now."

Crystal Bermuda sighed, crossing her arms, fingernails digging into her jacket sleeves. "I thought you would try and do this. Unfortunately for me, I have to agree," she said, her face a carefully constructed mask. "A deal - you disappear during the fight. You don't kill anyone. And you don't tell anyone what you know. For your life, you swear loyalty to the Gods and to upholding the Law."

Crystal Bermuda 's face remained in its perfectly sculpted mask of distant disdain. "I wouldn't expect you not to," she replied. "You need to act as you would have before in order to keep the timeline as close to its original as possible."

Crystal Bermuda 's nostrils flared, a fang making itself known as she snarled. "You can add me to that list," she snapped. Moving to be right in his face, she lowered her voice to a dangerous whisper. "And if you mess things up . . . I'll bring you to a dead Realm and kill you myself."

Crystal Bermuda 's eyes narrowed, now fixed to the eyes of a tiger as she glared into the Crow's eyes. "Good." Turning to Alexis, she looked down at the other woman, upbringing springing to life in her mannerisms. "That is none of your business, child," she said coolly before exiting the bar, form blurring into that of a tiger's before she had fully left. It was time to burn off some steam.
