Description

The twins are in fact identical, the only difference being the length of their hair.
Their hair is white; Dante wears his as a thick shag that falls around his chin with the last layer falling past his shoulders. Jesse however just has a shag of thick white hair that falls to his chin.
Their eyes are glacier blue and almond shaped, set above high, chiselled cheekbones. They have wide shoulders and sculpted arms with thin waists and narrow hips, their legs are long causing them to stand at just below six foot.
Their style usually varies somewhat, with Dante preferring to dress much smarted with black trousers, leather shoes, white shirts and waistcoats. He has been known to wear the occasional top hat. Jesse is a little less formal with tight jeans and dark coloured shirts with boots or sometimes converses. He has been known to pull off a roll neck jumper with a dark blazer but prefers to wear fewer layers.
They look about 19 years old.

Personality

Dante is usually seen in public as the stronger of the two, he tends to speak for Jesse and look down upon others. He often bosses his brother about but that does not mean that he does not love him dearly. There is nothing Dante would not do for Jesse and it is apparent to many that he is highly protective of his twin. He likes to be dominant and in control of his life, if he has a strong view on something he will stick to it and refuse to waver, even if he is wrong. It is in these circumstances that only Jesse can bring him around.
Jesse is a little timid, quite and appears shy. Always standing slightly behind his brother he does not like to make decisions and appears to be pushed around by Dante. It is only behind closed doors that the real relationship is evident, the one in which Dante leans on his brother for support. Jesse is usually the one that smiles and makes light of things, this does not make his brother a pessimist for he too knows there is a silver lining, he just has to look a little harder for it.

History

Dante and Jesse were born in Victorian England and raised by an upper class and highly respectable family. Their mother and father appeared to run the perfect family with their twin boys and teenage daughter, Iris. From a young age the boys were taught to hide emotions, dress well and always be charming and polite. It was in fact Jesse who excelled at all three and often spoke for Dante as they grew and were dragged around various parties.
Behind closed doors the family was very much the opposite of what it portrayed, their father beat their mother and the boys, he saved a very special abuse for his daughter that was always left unsaid, even now the twins do not discuss it, in fact they have never mentioned their former life to anyone. The only remnants of it are the three things they were taught when in public and the posh English accents and mannerisms that they can not seem to shake, even after 50 years of living in the states.
Another thing that will never leave them is their uncanny love for each other. It first appeared when they were 13 and uninterested in any girls put before them. The only time they really batted ane eyelid was when a rather handsome duke had been presented to them five years after their thirteenth birthday, luckily he found them as attractive as they found him and they took him together. Funnily enough they saw the duke many times in the next year, and he was their first kill after they had been converted to vampirism. A fact that they fondly remember.
