Personality

The Door Mouse knew the importance of presentation when it came to appearing before a party. There job was to remain calm and keep the Hatter and Hare entertained. Dominque is very somber and rarely awake spending most of the time resting in a twin sized bed beside the Tea table and very close to the entrance. While very quiet Dominque's hearing is quite keen and despite not wearing outfits that would really allow it, climbing is another skill that comes natural. Barely any of the skin on this child can be seen besides the face, which is by design. If anyone knew what a mouse looked like, they'd know that one has no place at a tea party.

It is not uncommon for Dominque to try and swipe food with subtle attempts when those around are occupied. Able to maneuver around underneath the table cloth and snag fruits nuts or berry's without the cloth so much as flinching from contact. However one disgusting habit this child has is his lack of hesitation to hunt insects getting up on all fours on the table to catch any... and if caught they too found their way into his mouth. Dominque cannot stand any forms of feline and will break into a spazzoid panic if once is even mentioned. Only way for the child to regain composure is to either run out of energy and pass out or receives treacle.

History

Wonderlands Tea Party is a place where order and conduct must be maintained. So when the new generation stepped up to replace the old, it was the original Dormouse's job to make sure someone who could replace him and give proper etiquette to such a important job was found. Eventually his own child became the prime candidate and thus his training began. Stay quiet and only speak to give good insight. For example if the topic was a bird he might say " I'm in the air so I am flying. So if i'm flying I must be in the air." Most of the time anything that's said really doesn't bring a new point up, but rather just a different way of saying what's already been said. As a dormouse it is also required to know a great many stories and poems in which to keep guests occupied. Hatter and Hare both needed this pivotal character to have someone to confirm their nonsense.

Dominque learned to be the mouse, however after taking on the role for a day he found that the job was quite daunting. On his first day Dominque attempted to do the work as was expected and live out the same story that the original had. However far too meek and timid for this role Dominque changed up strategy's on the second day. Instead of trying to keep the Hatter and the Hare entertained himself, his new tactic let grace and elegance do the entertaining while the Dominque himself got to sleep. Every time the tea party started again Dominque would be wearing a different lavishing gown or dress. Hair was worn in different styles to suit the dresses era and barely any skin besides his face was ever seen. In this new appearance both the Hatter and Hare seemed to bother him far less and thus didn't need to be awakened half as much.

Typically Dominque sits between Hatter and the March Hare with arms curled up like a pillow for his head to rest against. More than capable sleeping even while being dragged by his colleagues during the time of position switches. Dominque will chime in every so often if he feels a point needs to be emphasized which really makes it hard to tell when hes sleeping or just pretending to. While his story's differ each time they are told one thing that can be expected in their content is treacle and the letter M.
