Description

Donovan is of average height, but is fairly slight of frame. He favors sturdy and simple clothing that is well-suited both for traveling and the rigors of laboratory work. He is rather indifferent with regard to his physical appearance and can generally be described as "unkempt" or "disheveled". The skin of his hands is mottled and discolored a bit as a result of burns from his alchemical pursuits.

Personality

Donovan is quiet and attentive but he is neither shy nor withdrawn. He has a great love of travel and speaks several languages with great fluency. The idea that diverse elements can be combined to produce new substances of surprising properties fascinates him greatly and he is not afraid to take great risks in obtaining the ingredients he seeks for his experiments, nor is he afraid to risk the dangers involved in the experiments themselves. Outside of his intellectual boldness, however, he tends to favor a cautious and balanced approach in his dealings with the world around him.
