An experienced ex-soldier turned hired sword. A brave warrior hides under his happy go lucky attitude.
Handsome, muscular and in his mid-twenties. His flowing chesnut locks reach his shoulderand he also has a short goatee. He also has a pair of piercing green eyes.He has very chiselled, defined features and a very personable smile. Considered relatively handsome.
He enjoys a good laugh and a drink, and sees this as the simplest pleasure in life. His experiences as a soldier have taught him to appreciate peace, but his confidence verging on cockiness means he won't refuse a fight. Never serious, even in battle, he is often accused of taking things too easily, but Doyle isn't te kind of person to allow criticism to effect him. What other would consider lazy, he considers pragmatic. A gambler in life and battle, although he usually has good luck, he often worries his comrades in the process of what others would consider a risk.
He wears leather armour all the time, not caring enough to change, and also carries a zweihander blade. Apart from those crucial pieces of equipment, he's happy to take a risk, although he's never sighted without the drinking flask at his waist.
As a kid, he had a relatively comfortable life. His father was a soldier and his mother an accountant, so naturally, Doyle fouind himself excelling both physically and mentally. Due to his obvious talent, as a young teenager, an elite military force put him through a gruelling set of trials to test whether or not he would meet their standards. Though he once again excelled in all areas, high-ranking officials decided his risk-happy attitude made him a liability. Unfazed, Doyle rose through the ranks of the regular military, becoming a captain of a troop which always appeared to achieve the maximum result with minimal casulties. As a result, he was once more called up for trials for his country's special forces. Seeing the chance to redeem what he considered his only fault, he once more repeated his result, although now he had results on the battlefield to back him up, no-one could disagree that he was worthy of a place among the elite. Here Doyle continued to fight, and fight well. At this point at time he fought for his country and his family, happy to make both proud. But all good things come to an abrupt end. On a survaillence mission in an enemy nation that Doyle and two of his comrades were involved in, two things happened. They were discovered, and the nations had just brokered a peace deal. As a result, Doyle's father nation disowned him and imprisoned his family to stop any political unrest. Now seen as a renegade and a traitor, Doyle and his two allies agreed to split up in the hope it would seperate pursuers. Of the three of them, Doyle is the only known survivor. Although he hopes to return one day to liberate his parents, and any others supressed by politics, for now he has decided to take specialist combat jobs and instruct others in the use of the blade, and enjoy what life he is still salvaging. For he is still being tracked by assassins who seek to stop him from releasing details of his abandonment.
Till then though, Doyle will try his luck. It's how he got this far.
