Appearance:
Eloise has a very failed sense of fashion -according to the latest trends- often attempting to wear nice things but generally doesn't spend too much time studying magazines or doing cosmetics. She prefers to have her hair down but has a habit of tying a simple pony tail when doing anything physical. She is not exactly the tall model type but tries to keep a nice contour at the gym regularly to make up for the height. Her fingers aren't particularly long so she keeps long nails often polished red. Around her left middle finger there is a thin silver ring of intricate designs.

Though Narington has a quarter Russian blood, it is difficult to tell just by her complexions. Her iris is a soft sky blue though she sometimes prefers to have it as a pale magenta by using color contacts. Her vision is not 20/20 but good enough not to need glasses just yet. Eloise has long pretty eye lashes that is the same caramel blond as her silky braid. Her ears are pierced and she is often seen wearing a certain onyx earring, cased in silver, on her left ear.

Her attire is simple at best with primary emphasis on comfort and secondary focus on aesthetics. Eloise has on a high collar blouse that is white in color. Her jeans are black, elastic in texture and not made of the standard denim. Around her neck, beneath the hand knitted scarf and inside her blouse is a silver necklace. She has black heels to give her extra height and a brown overcoat for warmth and style.

Personality

Personality/History:
Prideful and strong willed, Eloise was never one to admit failure. As a child she struggled with her height often blaming her parents for not carrying more 'Russian tall genes'. Growing up, Narington faced and fought against the 'dumb blond' stereotype and studied hard to prove her worth. She hates to lose and her pride is often the greatest fuel pushing her beyond excellence be it in athletics or academics. She has three sisters each successful in their own field. Their standards are high and she, in turn, has refused any guys with lower academic standing or otherwise 'inferior' to her in some way. Amongst some of the boys in her school, Eloise is considered one of the top 'prize' to 'get' fueling her disgust upon the general male population. She does not belong to anyone and is certain not an 'object' to be had. With the attention and the high academic standings, her has attracted much jealousy from her female peers. Though never doing it in her face, Eloise knew full well of how they keep spreading gossip behind her back bad mouthing her in all her aspects. This made her even more determined not to be looked down upon and pushed her to work even harder.

Yet no matter how strong a front she puts up, Eloise knew she was not that strong deep within. She didn't want to tell her sisters that she is not perfect; She didn't want her parents to be worried; She bottled up her emotions until they turned sour rotting her from within. When she came across a certain tome that didn't have any bar-code as library books normally do, Narington began to read and was quickly fascinated by the gifts it offered. As she studied further, Eloise began to see manna able to understand its flow quickly identifying other magic users in her school. Yet she knew to keep what she knows a secret even from other users until she is able to surpass them all without being restricted by any system or user. She can not lose.

It was then that a voice began talking to her. It promised her the strongest ability of them all. It told her that darkness is infinite and those who bath themselves in it will become unmatched and unrestricted. All she needs to do was to sign a contract and give up something in exchange for this power. Narington was not stupid. If anything the voice was sounded like some demon who wants to snatch her soul. But if she can get infinite power, as it promised, then there will never again be anything that stands in her way. Eventually she caved. But she demanded, as part of the contract, that in exchange for her soul in the last of her days she must never lose with this power or the contract will be void. It was a ploy to outwit the voice who called itself 'sorrow'. She hopes to join the tournament to gain power that she can keep eventually even after she deliberately voids the contract preferably before her death.

Equipment

Gears:
Onyx Earring: The accessory is a black gem cased in thin silver and worn only on the left ear. The item serves as her contract able to consume stray manna especially remnants from destroyed magic blasts. Any magical attempts to control her body, mind or spirit without projection of proper physical form will also be consumed. She does not belong to anyone and refuses to lose to anyone. By these statements the item was formed earning the earrings the title 'Denial'.

Sapphire Necklace: The accessory is a blue gem cased in a diamond shaped silver. The item serves aesthetically as decoration as well as a talisman providing basic protection to ward off weak attacks.

Silver Ring: The accessory is an alternate form to a magician's staff. The ring has the ability to double magical strength as manna is channeled through.

Power:
Shadow Casting: Calling from any darkness Eloise is able to summon forth any shadow form projecting them as weapons and manipulating them as any elementalist would their element. Having been promised, and believed, that darkness is infinite; her powers lies in her imagination as her abilities are fueled by darkness consuming darkness.

Shadow Summoning: Perusing more advanced forms of Shadowmancy, Eloise have gained the ability to summon shadow creatures to do her bidding. She only needs to wish it and they will even sacrifice themselves for her sake. The most common form of these are beasts of the earth, but mystical creatures, high level demons and even shadows of heroic spirits can be summoned with increased cast time. As with Shadow Casting, her strength lies not so much in what she has summoned but in the quantity she can summoned.

Shadow Cursing: The more dangerous form of shadowmancy carried out as passive abilities. Eloise is able to bend reality by manipulating -Shadow- their darkness. The most common forms of Shadow Cursing is to cut directly a foe's dark reflection to split their physical body. Binding a shadow or blocking an incoming shadow will have similar effects on the physical counterpart. Often she will use shadows of her abilities to perform the same Shadow Cursing.
