A young knight. Headstrong. Deadly. Lost.

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Moonscar

Description

Art does not belong to me.

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Ethnicity: Madevan

Height: 6'1"

Weight: 170 lbs

Appearance: Enda is a tall, strongly built young woman. Though she's as packed as most of the male knights she served with, one can still see the semblance of an attractive, and perhaps, at one time, delicate lady. She has a set of bright olive eyes and deep tanned skin, carrying a myriad of scars from previous battles and a difficult time as a squire.

Enda's apparel usually consists of dark, regal armors, to softer, lighter leather armors.

Equipment:

  • A large, claymore-esque sword given to her after graduating from squire to knight. The sword has a very clear, sharp blade that is made from an ore by the name of neelamite that is found only in the Madevan mines. It has the ability to draw in energy and release it at the wielder's will. This includes various spirits, wraith, and elementals. Enda has named it Devoro.

The following spirits she keeps stored are as follows:

-Anka, flame elemental of Darien, the desert land of Sozo, Enda's homeland. The flame that Anka unleashes can be manipulated in many diverse ways.

-Bahuta, multiple small wraith that make up one being. They come in the form of small white wisps, and though they are useless on their own, they are incredibly powerful in great numbers. Enough of them in one area can bare down an impressive weight upon a target or area. They can also suffocate or run over an enemy. They can be used to shield the user, as well.

So begins...

The doors to Gambit's opened, and in came three moving men, carrying a large mirror carefully through the crowd of patrons. They certainly looked like carpenters, but a little strange. Something about the way they carried themselves...and that mirror. Of course it would shatter should they drop it...but they weaved about as if it were made of crystal. They found the wall where they had planned it a week earlier, popping in a few nails, then tying the mirror to them.

The large reflective surface hung neatly on the wall, the large brown frame winding around it like tree branches.
Though, something was wrong...of course all the patrons were moving the same in the mirror as did the outside...but one person was out of place. A woman with dark skin and blonde hair.
She was only in the mirror.

If anyone looked into the mirror, yes, they would see themselves. They would see everyone else in the bar, the chairs, the lamps, the movers who seemed to be in a rush to get out.
And one person extra. She would be standing behind a few of the patrons, going to sit at a table...but if you looked to that same table, right behind that person...there was no one there.

The woman in the mirror, who was wearing light armor with a long pole-arm strapped to her back, stood up from her chair, seeming to notice the man who had come over to look at her mirror. As her image would walk toward him, the man would see his own reflection begin to disappear, and in it's place would be that woman, moving to his movements, staring at him the same way he looked into the mirror...and then she would do something different. She would lay her hand on her side of the mirror, and her stare would become more intent.

The woman in the mirror was a few inches shorter than The Blade Dancer, and only about half of her body was revealed in the mirror this close up. The head of her weapon jut out over her head, but her eyes were what would most likely catch the man's attention.
They were smokey grey, but they were large and fierce, demanding him to look at her if his will were too weak.
A second passed by, as if she were unsure if she'd gotten him to notice her, but then she opened her mouth to say something...and no sound could be heard. It came out empty, as if she were merely mouthing something.
If he could read lips, he might have read "Help me."

Nodding to his first words, then clenching her fists on the mirror where her hand lay, she dropped it to her side slowly. However, she had a tad bit harder time to read words, though she could do it if pronounced properly.
She got his next few words jumbled and furrowed her brow. Before she had time to respond, she tensed, shoulders going back, knees bent, one hand on her weapon. She turned to the man on the other side of the mirror and mouthed: "Stay here."

After a few long minutes, from the woman leaving and disappearing in the crowd, she came back, blood splattered over her face, covering the head of her pole-arm. Her breathing was labored, her hair was wet with sweat, her teeth bared. She tried to yell something to him, motioning with her arms.
She placed her hands flat to the mirror, leaning her weapon on the mirror instead of sheathing it. She then turned her hands to face herself.

The woman in the mirror watched as the image of the room became distorted as the young man she had met turned it over. As he lifted it off the wall, she did the same, hoping that this would work. That old man said it would, and it had better. When she had also turned around the mirror, a satisfying sound reached her ears.
It was the clanking of plates, to where in her bar, there was no sound at all. She glanced behind her, and all the patrons stared at her with a blank gaze. It was just a little unnerving.
Turning back to the mirror, she did as she was directed. She knocked on the wooden back of the mirror.

The young warrior widened her eyes in complete and utter surprise as she heard knocking from the other side. Of course, she was hoping for it to work, but actually witnessing it was another thing altogether.
She took another glance over her shoulder, and saw the blankly staring patrons rise up from their chairs, taking slow steps toward her. These were not the actual patrons, but their reflections, now out to kill her because they were cut off from their source.
She banged on the wooden back of the mirror again, but harder, climbing on a table and thrusting herself at it. She was in danger. She had to try harder. The back of the mirror would no give out without a fierce fight.
Finally, she took her pole-arm, using the sharp edge to cut at the wood. She hoped the man on the other side was doing something similar.
Some of the wood fell away, exposing the reflective back of the mirror.

Splintering wood fell around her as she chopped away, the sound of banging around her. She was half-panicked and half-joyful, being able to hear sound. The mirror reflected the light of places, but could not reflect sound. After so long now, even in such a horrible situation, it was bliss.

The warrior kept looking back, and each time the patrons of the reflected bar were advancing faster. A few began to run toward her, teeth bared and eyes fierce with the intent to kill. She took her foot and kicked the nearest one onto the floor, stabbing the next one in the head with her pole-arm. They were weak, but they were many. She drew her weapon out of the reflection's head, blood dripping from it and toward the mirror. She heard banging from the other side, and she could see the real bar through a crack. Those little drops o blood fell through it, then disappeared on the other side.
It was going to work.
She took her blade, her fingers, everything she could use to open the entrance, until she made a crack wide enough to fit herself through.

The other side would be seen, and with only a moment of hesitation, for she could scarcely believe what was about to happen. A reflection caught her foot, but she took no notice as she flung herself at the mirror, feeling her body hit what felt like thick liquid. The reflections caught her right arm and legs, threatening to draw her back into the mirror world. Her head surfaced, but she was being drawn back again. She caught sight of the man she had seen through the window, the one trying to get her through.
"Help me!" She exclaimed, thrusting out her free arm.

The woman gripped onto the man's hand as he gripped her own, kicking on the other side of the mirror at the reflections. She still had her pole-arm in her other hand, so she brought her hand back and forward, stabbing blindly. She felt the hits connect and struggled, a few times, to release it from whatever body part she'd stabbed.
Finally, for the Blade Dancers' strength and her blind panic with her weapon, the hold of the reflections stopped all at once, and she fell through the mirror, into the real world, toward the man who had saved her.

In the moments after she was released, when her whole body had come to the real side, half a second in the air, all of her senses came to life. She smelled the scent of food and alcohol and smoke, strong in the bar. She felt the hot air brush her cheek, warm her skin, and she gasped, then realizing she was going to bash into the man she was being helped by.

Then, suddenly, he cringed to the side, and to avoid having a nasty face-plant, she stuck out her arms, landing with a loud thud as she crashed on her own side, sliding across the floor.

Pain shot up her arm, and Klee groaned she she tried to roll up onto a sitting position. Her eyes flickered to the mirror. Faces were planted onto the glass, glaring and angry. There was blood splatter everywhere, and then the sound of shuffling filled her ears, among all the others. The bodies were being moved to the side.
Though her arm might have been dislocated, a shot of adrenaline ran through her, and she ran to the mirror, using one arm to turn the mirror over with difficulty. When she did, the reflections paused, moved away from the mirror, and moved alongside their partners int he bar once more, some with chopped open heads, others bruised and battered, acting as if nothing had happened.
Gradually, the blood on the glass, the flesh on the ground, it all rejoined to the owners, as if time rewound itself in the fake world.
Of course, there were three people in the mirror not actually in the bar, glaring at her.
But she cared not, dropping into a chair at The Blade Masters' table. She held her shoulder, groaning, breathing hard, but she smiled at him.
"I owe you one, sir. If I weren't so damaged I might have kiss you."

Throbbing pain waved in and out of her shoulder, making her hold it tightly. She knew it needed to be popped back in, though she didn't mind. Her grey eyes was fixed on The Blade Dancer as intently as his were on herself.
"It's not just a life debt, it's much more than that." She shuffled in her seat, shaking her head.
"But may I ask you for another favor?" She asked. Even though she had already heard his voice, which had made her heart leap because it was a voice. Sound was so wonderful, and she wanted to hear his voice again. She wanted to eat something, too. Such a wave of emotion washed over her, feeling like she was awakened from a long, long sleep.
"I will try not to be too much of a bother."

Rubbing her hand up and down her shoulder she nodded, getting up slowly and walking over to him.
"I need this popped in- I don't feel like going to a doctor right now, I really don't. Are you alright with it?" She did try to hide her pain, though she had to wince slightly. She didn't want to look like a wuss girl, but she knew she would at least groan when it was popped in.
"You don't look like a queasy guy. With all those weapons. You must fight as well."

Klee nodded, but then gritted her teeth and bit her bottom lip in pain as she was then slapped on her dislocated shoulder. She thought a tough-looking guy like him must have been experienced in this field. Well, it was now obvious he was not.
"N-no. That's not...how you do that..." She said through gritted teeth. "How bout I walk you through it, eh?" She was a little worried this might not be the brightest idea.

Breathing in and out slowly, she edged herself onto the table, flicking her head to him.
"I'm supposed to be laying down, but we're in a bar, so I'd rather not." She took a brief look around and set her eyes on the Blade Dancer.
"If you would stand up, please."

She motioned him to her side, then let go of her shoulder, regretting it because it caused much pain to run through her arm.
"Al...alright. So if you could hold my arm and move it away from my body a little ways...carefully, and slowly, if you will..." She gave him a glare, exaggerating the words for a great reason.

"Alright, alright, now lift my whole arm up...then just push it in. Did you understand that?" She asked. She was bad at instructions. She never taught before, was never a captain of anything. She was always instructed by someone else, so she wasn't sure of the proper way to do things.
"If you don't...please say so."
