Ira, the Chain-Jewel Witch
Age/Date of Birth: 23, March 24
Race/Ethnicity: Antomian, Jewel-Witch
Appearance: Ira is a strong woman with dark skin, defined muscles, and soft facial features. Her heir, which usually falls past the mid of her back, is often tied up into intricate braids. Her eyes are green, and are always laughing, all but in the darkest of times. She is very fit, very proud, and walks with a confident strut. Her attire does not follow the examples of her friends. She often wears bright, even mismatched clothing. Upon her hands are always fingerless gloves, hiding the red dalacite within her palms.
As stated above, Ira's general demeanor is energetic, forward, the first one to step up to a challenge or to leap into an impossible quest. Though she is a fighter, she likes to keep clean and makes it a point to take care of herself. She always combs her hair, makes sure it's neat and tidy, washes her face in the morning and showers in the afternoon, makes sure her nails don't get dirty, or too long, and keeps up with this routine every day.
The doors to Gambit's would open, and in would enter a newcomer. Her skin was dark, and her limbs long and slender. Don't let the avatar fool you- her hair is definitely black, put up into many intricate braids. She walked with a powerful, confident stride, eyes wide as she took in Gambit's bar- it was a little shoddy, for her liking, but it was warm, too. Quite inviting for a female fighter.
She spotted a familiar figure, and practically leaped over to her in joy.
"Yanni!" She exclaimed, embracing the witch from behind. "Where have you been all this time?"
Ira-Cai Scarlet was not hesitant, and suddenly leaned over Yanni to hold out her hand to Kazen.
"I'm Ira-Cai, a good friend of Yan, here. Nice to meet you!" She said enthusiastically. Should he shake her hand she would grip his hand firmly in a nice, strong handshake.
Yanni gave a small giggle, followed by a breathy "Oooh." As she leaned back to let Ira have some space. Looks like the wounds hadn't quite healed up yet. Straightening herself, she rubbed her side, but stopped.
"Well, I was going to handle the introductions, but I see that she beat me to it..."
Ira-Cai Scarlet was always the first one to say something, the first one to react. She returned Kazen's smile with her own, widening her eyebrows and settling into her seat.
"Well it seems you got yourself a lady, then!" Ira said, a cheerful laugh in the back of her throat.
Yan gazed at the roses, noticing that Kazen seemed happy to be in love, even when a few other things didn't seem to be going for him.
"Good luck with that, sir." Yan teased.
Ira-Cai Scarlet would jump upwards at the sounds of the bar fight. She had to think quickly, and ran over to the dragon-anthro. She knew she had to keep this secret, but she had no choice here.
Swiftly, she peeled off her gloves, revealing thr red gems embedded in her palms. She threw out her hand, and translucent red chains would shoot out from them, hopefully tying around Sang's hand.
The red chains would shoot from Ira's palms again, attempting to wrap around Jaden's hands and point his gun to the ceiling. The chains only lasted a few seconds, but in that time Ira might have been able to run up to the gunman and tackle him down to the ground.
Ira-Cai Scarlet was powerful and strong, so there was a chance that she would be able to keep Sang down, raising a fist to knock him in his jaw.
"I will not allow you to kill at the stake of your filthy honor!"
Ira-Cai Scarlet was blown off from Sang, having no choice but to crawl away to the best of her abilities, but oh! There was another blast, and another, and another! Ira didn't have time to respond. She tried to brace herself for the next, wanting so badly to fling him to the ground and pummel him.
Ira-Cai Scarlet was about to be pelted with shots propelled by psychic power. She could not do anything about it besides hold her hands in front of her immediately votal organs, hoping the gems on her palms were strong enough to stop them.
Ira-Cai Scarlet was in pretty bad shape, bullets and psychic energy hitting her in her legs, through her torso, blasting off a good part of her ear and ravaging her hip. She fell to the floor, moaning loudly as she tried to stagger back up. The only amount of energy she had left was to summon more chains from her palms, slinging them from one hand to the other to temporarily deflect the floorboards in a strange shield.
Ira-Cai Scarlet picked up and carried away by Sang, bleeding everywhere, breathing shallow, wounds giving off so much pain that Ira had no choice but to give off a pained moan.
Ira-Cai Scarlet had a similar experience to Yanni's, flickering her eyes and unconsciously grabbing onto Sang's arm, which probably wasn't the best choice. She clenched her head with her other arm, trying to clear her blurred vision.
"What the hell just went on here..." She cursed.
Ira-Cai Scarlet slid her gloves on and flexed her fingers. Despite the healing, she was sore as well. Her heart pumped healthily- that was an upside. She was in one piece- another good thing. She didn't think anyone but the Vordoon had that much power. It was amazing. She had to challenge it one day.
That is...when she figured out how to be ready for gunfire and psychic blasts. She hadn't dealt with many of those during her lifetime so far.
Ira-Cai Scarlet shook her head and placed her hand on Kazen's shoulder in pity, "All will be alright, Kazen, we can get more flowers." She comforted him, jumping as someone bumped into her backside.
"Oh! Well, who just-" She whipped her head around to see Ohtoha, standing behind her, a bit confused.
"Ask me to dinner? Well, sure, I-" She looked from Kazen to Ohtoha, then back to the Irishman.
"That would be nice, I think I might like that." Though I'm not comfortable with you paying for me, she added in her mind.
Ira, however, just laughed at the young girl who had found his way, somehow, to Yanni's behind.
"You're brave, aren't you?" She said to Ohtoha.
Ira-Cai Scarlet was quite a bit taller than the elf- she was nearly six feet, after all, one of the tallest women in the group. She did something like a bow back to Ohtoha, grinning as she did so.
"I am Ira-Cai, she is Yanni-Cai, and I believe that man over there is called...Kazen, was it, sir?" She was never good with names.
Ira-Cai Scarlet placed her hands on her hips and leaned to one side, "I may not be from earth, but we had comedians in the citadel we come from! Though...right. You wouldn't know any..." She trailed off, knowing it might be difficult, at times, to relate to Kazen.
"Wait, you're from the Invictus? That's how I know you!" She pointed to him with one finger, then withdrew it. Ice crusted down her spine, and her arms suddenly shot out to grab Kazen at the elbow. It was completely unintentional.
"What? Oh, sorry..." She quickly said, spinning around at Ohtoha's cries of "Pervert!"
She saw Zed fly behind the counter just in time.
"Why am I popular, suddenly?"
Ira-Cai Scarlet was startled as she attempted to grab Felix from Yanni's head, who was equally as startled. She was being attacked from all angles!
Ira-Cai Scarlet wasn't quite ready for him to poof again, but she did have a plan of action. She dropped, very quickly, to the floor, rolling upwards so that maybe she could deliver a kick to Felix's own behind.
"Sorry, Kazen, if I'm being rude. Just a little trouble, you know?" All at once she would glance at Ohtoha, fighting Zed, and Ira, who was trying not to laugh.
Ira-Cai Scarlet stretched a hand up to grab Felix and attempt to drop him into her arms, just to carry him bridal-style.
"Little trouble maker." She said coyly. This was a joke.
Or was it?
Ira grinned and flipped him over, looking quite cruel and delightfully happy at the same time.
"You want a kiss? From me? You sure?" She asked him, her voice suddenly serious.
Ira-Cai Scarlet grinned and tried to wrap one arm around Felix.
"Well, look at the contrast. My skin is very dark, your skin is very white." She joked, moving her hand so she could probably clamp it around Felix's jaw.
Ira-Cai Scarlet shrugged. "I've heard that things get boring past thirty, anyway." Then, without hesitation, she drew Felix in to lay a kiss onto his lips.
Ira-Cai Scarlet was a little surprised that the man didn't back away. Most men thought her to be too forward, too cheerful, even.
She really wasn't sure what to do at this point, but she laughed when he returned it, breaking the kiss.
"I'm sorry," Ira laughed again, "this is a bit unusual for me!"
Ira-Cai Scarlet put her hand on her cheek, refusing to sigh like a little girl looking at a prince charming.
Instead, Ira, like always, let out a joyful laugh. Even after a near-death experience, things usually got better, it seemed. She looked at the number in her hand, scribbled around her patches of glove.
"This is going to be fun!"
Ira-Cai Scarlet noticed the fight after a very long pause with herself, wondering what had happened. She spun around to counter and faced off against the metalman that fought against Ohtoha. She sighed as she slipped her gloves off. No one here seemed like they would remember a jewel witch anyway.
She stepped dangerously close to Zed, clenching her fists, ready to strike should he make a move.
