Jack isn't too big, but he is anything but small. Besides the fact that he is built for physical activity, he loves to show off that he could easily kick some ass. He tends for just plain T-shirts and worn in jeans over suits and ties. That just isn't his style. Jack seems to never get a tan; he could spend hours in the sun and just be a sweaty mess and still come out as pale as he went in. That isn't a bad thing though--his pale skin contrasts nicely with his very short black hair and the stubble along his jaw. [you know you or what you are offering is important when he actually shaves more then once every few days]. Jack is an officer of the law and with his shield he has seen the good, the bad, and the ugly that lurks in his city. His almond shaped black eyes reflect every bit of what he has seen. His most notable features is a scar on his collar-bone towards his right shoulder from being stabbed with scissors.

Personality

Jack is human [though the men that tumble with him beg to differ] and of course that means he has just as a wide a spectrum of emotions and ideals...Or in his own way. Jack is certainly known for his dark humor and pessimistic spice. Sure he smiles and he laughs; but they seems almost forced most of the time. He however claims he is sincere. Love is a signal he doesn't broadcast clearly--he isn't the romantic type. Jack shows his love in strange ways instead of flowers and "I loves you"s.
Besides his emotional labyrinth, Jack is a pretty little package of blurred ethics, horrible morals, and brutal honesty. He dances on the line of honest man and a criminal with a shiny piece of metal. His integrity is the only thing within him that is eternally firm.

Jack carries his Santa Monica PD badge, Beretta 92 hand gun and other non-department issued side-arms, and his metallic sandstone painted Jeep Patriot.

History

A little Jack Maverick was born in the winter of 1973 in Santa Monica, California to parents: Elise and Jammie Maverick. Growing up Jack lived in a boarder line community. His family wasn't exactly doing well financially but he and his younger brother Andy made it. Jack knew he wanted to be a cop when he first entered Santa Monica High School. He had to look out for Andy through the four years as they faced racial tension and gangs in their school. Jack himself was known for picking trouble with the wrong people resulting in several suspensions and nearly being expelled.
Out of high school he went to college for a little while then the Santa Monica police academy where he earned his badge and hit the streets working gang and narcotic related crimes. It was only a few years later when Jack was suspected of being "dirty" and addicted to pain killers. All actions though he continues to deny it.
