A.K.A "The Gambler" and "Jack of spades," he is a man of impressive stature and heedless stupidity. With his neatly kept, short brown hair and suave attitude, Jack is someone to be remembered. His jacket pockets are full of cards of every shape and size, and of every use. Tarot cards, "normal" cards, and much more. Dice are kept in a small, dark velvet pouch inside his jacket, along with an old-style Colt M1911.

Jack Spades sat at a large, round table in the center of the bar. His brown jacket would flow with the breeze that swirled and ruffled his hair each time the door opened or closed. Even if his hair was starting to part and his shirt was a little crumpled-what that had to do with the wind he did not know-he thought his position strategic; good view of the bar, the bar had a good view of him, he had his back to the fire-the hearth in which it made residence close enough to keep him warm-, and, of course, the table was big enough to hold all of his stuff; mounds of cards! "Fortune readings, black jack, hold 'em, twenty-one! Come one, come all! See The Gambler and his magic! The Jack of Spades is calling all of you out!

Jack Spades much fancied his calling card; the end enticed the lively and challenging, or, as he liked to think of them, the stupid, the drunk, and the big spenders. The perfect clientle. "Five dollar buy-ins!" he shouted as politely as he could, as not to disturb any of the stupid, angry, drunks, the likes of whom always proved troublesome.

Jack Spades looked at his watch. "Dammit!" he swore to himself as he grabbed a random card from his deck... which was just the one he needed. He and all of his stuff poofed out of nothingness to nothingness.

A small playing card, a Jack of Spades, flittered down from the ceiling. It swooped on the current lazily, passing by the hearth and between patrons of the bar, before it finally landed on the large, semi-circular room at the center of Gambit's bar. It fizzled and crackled like a small flame, dissolved into the table, and was replaced by Jack Spades and his troupe of cards. With a grin, he eyed the bar and checked for any changes, then resumed his boastful attempt at getting himself money for dinner. "Five dollar buyings, come one, come all! Fortune tellings, black jack, twenty one, hold 'em, and et cetera!"

a playing card, Jack of Spades, flittered down from the roof, made a lazy circle in the air, then slid silently down onto the bar counter in front of Violet. It crackled like a dying flame, sputtered, then the noise dissipated. It resolved into the bar counter and then, for a moment, it seemed like it had never been there. A moment later, an average man in a nice jacket appeared, sitting on the counter. "Mountain dew please," he mumbled, putting five dollars on the counter. "And some cookies... keep the change."

Jack Spades sighed. He came back to gambits for the same exact reason as last time; the dam rain! With a grumble, he marched into Gambit's, took his regular seat at the middle, wiped his face off, and let out his sails pitch for what he hoped would be the final time tonight. "Fortune readings, hold 'em, black jack, twenty one, cheap buyins, big payouts!" He tried to keep the automotonics from his voice, but it was soo boring to say that all day!

Jack Spades looked up at Violet with a grin. 'Finally!' he thought to himself triumphantly, as he grabbed his 24-card-deck of rectangular tarot cards. He tried not to smirk as he tensed the muscles in one hand, causing the cards, each in turn, to flutter and fly into his other. He didn't so much as think about the cards, and yet he did all sorts of show-offy tricks. "Oh Madame, it's a rather simple concept." He once again tried not to smirk too much. He knew people hated anyone that was too full of one'self, or at least he did. "You see, I have-in all honesty-magic cards." The tarot cards shot out of his hand and stacked up in front of her on the counter. "I don't do anything but pick them at random. They do all the work."

Jack Spades shrugged. "Ask the cards, not me. like I said: they do the work, not me." Lazily, he reached over and grabbed his cards back. "I can tell you your past, too."

"The fee is just five bucks for your future... I would've offered this to be free but okay..." he sighed and started flipping cards over from the deck. (Google what they look like)"Lets see.... ah interesting... you're Lyrasian, you were born in the month of dark, er, October... on the fif... no sixteenth... You come from royalty.... and there is something in your body... a... scar maybe that you hide from the public eye... You wouldn't also happen to be a vampire, would you?" he shrugged. "That's all I got."

"Yes well," he lifted up a card that had an obscure picture of a grotesque humanoid with an oddly sized paintbrush. He named a random website which she had sold a picture of hers. "Nice work. Quite a bit good sum of cash on it, 'eh?" he sighed and started putting his cards away. "Well if I can't convince you then it doesn't matter; I don't want your necklace." he shrugged. "Interested in playing black jack?"
