A strapping 6’ even. He has dirty blond hair that he has tied in a ponytail. His skin is tanned and wind blown. His green eyes twinkle when he talks. He is clean shaven, but has thought about growing a beard. He wears a worn gentleman’s long vest, a faded gold color under a tattered royal blue captain’s coat with gold and black trim. A battered black tri-corn hat sits atop his head. He wears a wide black leather belt, with a tarnished brass buckle. Faded black knee breeches adorn his legs. Battered and worn thigh high round toe black boots folded down to give the folded over calf-high look grace his feet. A worn baldric crosses his chest, where his Scottish made cutlass rests at ease. He wears a brace of English dueling pistols cross one another on the baldric

Personality

Loud and boisterous, a swaggering personality, and every bit a pirate. Quick witted and silver tongued, James has been called "Lucky" by crew mates for his ability to discover treasure and adventure.

History

Having been at sea since the age 8, James has been aboard one Royal Naval vessel or another since that time. He has learned the ropes the hard way and has been in his share of battles learning arts the sword play from watching and practicing with the crew of the various ships he has been on.
Well liked James has been familiar sight at various Royal Naval Ports. He has been considered good luck by the crews he has sailed with. Now older and somewhat wiser he has decided to see where life takes him and has decided to sign on to any crew that leads to adventure.
During the last two years James has been incarcerated by order of the Prime Minister of England, Walpole. During this time he was in Port Royal for a year then transported back to be hung as one of the long line of pirates as an example of the King’s commitment to sweep the seas clear of the scourge.
