A young lady with a brutal past that forced her to bury emotions deep within herself. From this deplorable upbringing rose a mercenary unlike any the world has never seen. She kills not only for the money but also the raw rush of emotions.
Her eyes were usually the first thing people noticed about her, not because they sparkled with life or because of the intensity of their colour but rather because of the absence of either. They were a very dark brown with deep flecks of gold within them, but they appeared only as the ghostly remains of a fire that had been swallowed by the night. But with these eyes closed it gave way to the rest of her features. Her short cropped hair, predominantly a dark brown, gave way to a lighter chestnut here and there and the style resembled that of a medium length male haircut except for the fringe that started more on the left side of her head and swept across her forehead. It was styled nicely, not that she ever did it, for she was fortunate that without any effort it would usually settle its own way to provide a feminine approach to such a cut. With a rather petite nose that seemed to rest in the dead centre of her face and elevated cheek bones she was quite stunning. But that was just a mask that kept hidden something much more sinister beneath these angelic features of a beautiful sixteen year old girl, a killer.
This is the hairstyle I was getting at:
She usually wears faded camo pants which grip her hips and cling to her slim toned thighs, loosening their grip at her calves before disappearing under a pair of boots. A red singlet top clings to her breasts, cutting off to leave a thin strip of flesh just above her pants, which have a gold plated image of a hawk to clip the waist band around her body. A brown, leather jacket clasps her slender athletic shoulders loosely and stops just above the bottom of her shirt, the sleeves stopping just past her elbows to reveal a tattoo of Korean characters down the underside of her right forearm.
This is the outfit I was getting at:
With Jayda's brutal past she shows little emotion. Obviously Damian was unable to erase her emotions completely, but she is still very desensitised. You're lucky if you see anything more than the flash of a smirk if she's in a 'good mood' and you definitely never see her react in fear of something. The emotion most portrayed by her is her anger which spawns from the confusion raging within her. She is constantly confused because she never truly knows how she feels or should feel and often this results in unnecessary anger. She hates people wasting her time, she can't stand being called to meet someone and nothing being offered in return. If a trip is in vain you'd better watch out.
She has underworld recognition as one of the most compatable problem-fixers alive and she more than lives up to her reputation. For the right price she will do just about anything, within reason of course. She has spent her entire life mastering moves that will make your head spin. But the truth is, if you ever see Jayda in action there's a good chance you're already dead.
Most of the time she is stoic and offers little reaction but, because of her upbrining, at times she can be very unstable and unpredictable. Particularly when she starts shedding blood and killing people she can become out of control and won't settle down until she is the only one standing...sometimes.
Her favourite weapon would be a pair of M92 Elite II's equipped with TSS Quietstrike's (silencers) for stealth. She carries these with her everywhere she goes and always remembers to leave a job with them. They are her most prized possession because they had once belonged to her brother. She has trained to use them and is now an expert at handling them.
She carries a Foliage Green Ka-Bar (dagger) for close combat in case her guns just won't do the job. Or she just feels like shedding a little more blood than usual.
For sniper missions she uses an MK11, her favourite sniper which she customised so it can be quickly pulled apart and stored in a brief case disguised as a back pack which she carries on her back when she needs it.
Also at her disposal are her own weapons: knowledgable perspicacity, good discernment, quick thinking, dexrous fighting ability and although she is skilled with her physical weapons she is specialises in close combat fighting with acrobatic skill that with leave you dizzy and most likely dead.
Her name is Jayda Mandel. At the age of four her parents sold her and her twin brother for their fortnightly drug supply. The drug dealers knew of a scientist who was working on some sort of new theory/experiment, so they took her and her brother to him in exchange for some ingredients and facilities to help with their business. The scientists name was Damian Karch and he was working with the government to help develop a formula that would remove post mortal depression from soldiers and help desensitize them from the horrors of war.
For the next six years Damian spent every waking moment transforming Jayda and her brother (Nathan) into the perfect killers. He taught them to bare great pain, to banish emotions, to kill. He also used them as experiments for not only the new formula he was working on but also several other experimental procedures.
At the age of Ten Damian wanted to test whether gender had an effect on two people with almost no genetic difference and who have lived in the same environment. He forced them to fight each other until one was dead. Jayda was the one left standing, unable to grieve for her beloved brother because of her upbringing and the experimental drug.
Damian decided to test it further, plunging Jayda into a world that thrived with more violence than most adults could even imagine. For one year she killed for Damian, eliminating people he wanted her too. Eventually mobsters heard of this and began asking Damian if Jayda would take out opposing mobsters for large sums of money.
Then when Jayda was fourteen Damian had been discovered by the government he worked for. They only knew of him stealing the experimental drug but that was enough to charge him. But before they could take him into custody Jayda, following Damian's orders, killed him to avoid the potential leak of information. With Damian gone and his 'clients' hanging around Jayda just continued to do what was normal.
She continued killing for money and eventually even earnt herself the name of Valdis, given to her by a foreign man, meaning Goddess of Death in Scandinavian. She was uncatchable, something that upset the FBI greatly. But she just continued to do what was normal, kill for money and the raw rush of emotion.
