One of the Forteans, demi-magical beings that have emerged from the burial mounds of the Sidhae.
Jörmundur is tall, muscular, and broad. His features from his broad brow to his sharp nose remind those around him of ancient nobility. He wears his hair in long, blond locks and has let his facial hair run wild. The oddest feature about his person are his bright gold eyes. He wears gilt steel armor and a jeweled, gold plated helmet gifted to him by his Sidhae masters. A sword and a long, narrow hammer hang at his side.
Jörmundur is reserved. He prefers to think before he acts.
Jörmundur's equipment is limited. The sword and warhammer gifted to him by his masters are enchanted, as well as his armor. The sword burns the blue flames of his Sidhae masters, and the warhammer glistens with a coat of frozen ice. Both of these effects only occur when the weapons are being wielded. Jörmundur's armor is the true source of his power. It is made of gilt steel plates over leather sleeves, pants, and a leather curiasse, with golden boots and gloves. The boots and gloves give Jörmundur better than average strength and speed, and his grip strength is unmatchable. While his armor is donned, Jörmundur recovers from fatigue and injuries faster than normal, but is it still very possible that he could be killed from blood loss or shock.
Jörmundur was spawned. He protects the Sidhae mounds from intruders and follows their commands. With the spawning of the second generation of Forteans, he has been given some autonomy by his masters. Very infrequently he follows his own will and involves himself in things bigger than his home.
