Kijara ("KEY-jahr-uh"), or Kiij ("KEYJ"), as she is known to most, stands a modest four and a half feet, small even to Avian standards. Weighing in at eighty-three pounds, some would call her "frail", but would soon find error in their ways. Her humanoid legs end in three scaly talons that are each five inches long. Kiij has both wings and arms; her wing joints being attached to her shoulder blades. The wings on her back stretch five feet across, slightly longer than she is tall, with a beautiful golden brown plumage edged with white, much like a Peregrine Falcon. Indeed, she is of the "Falco peregrinus" (Peregrine) bloodline. Her human features are that of a tiny body, toned with a level of inexplicable muscle, and a moderately curvaceous figure. One would classify her moreso as cute, pretty, not so much as beautiful, due to her young age. Bright red hair spikes across her face, all-but obscuring her red-golden eyes. Ever the practical one, Kiij wears short tunics of earthy tones, functional leggings of similar colours, and a cloak in disagreeable weather. At her right side is a largish leather pouch, containing any number of things. To top off her entire look, Kiij wears a belt containing numerous knives, some visible and some hidden, and her pride and joy: two ancient enchanted revolvers, set in holsters on the loose belt at each hip, befitting any gunslinger. The enchantments on each revolver are relatively simple: the left one is enchanted to fire much farther than any normal pistol; the right one is enchanted to be more accurate. Both have an enchantment that makes each bullet fired a tad more effective in piercing a target.

Kijara Saeunn Revirn's Story

The sound of steady wing-beats drifted in through the bar door, then stopped almost as quickly as they had started. A moment later, a small Avian girl pushed open the door, still in the midst of folding her wings. Unlike true Harpies, Avians had both arms and wings, but their legs still ended in sharply taloned feet. The small girl would probably have been labeled as harmless, if not for the several knives on her loose belt, topped off with two ancient long-barrel revolvers holstered at each hip. It was a look befitting any gunslinger, enhanced by the barely visible aura playing about each pistol. With a haggard smile, the girl made her way to the bar counter, her talons clicking ominously with each step.

Kijara Saeunn Revirn draws her pistol in her left hand as soon as she recognised the sound of a gun being drawn from its holster. A knife also appeared in her right hand, and not from one of the visible sheaths on her belt. Kiij blinked her red-golden eyes once at the man holding the pistol to her, saying nothing. There were stories of how her eyes always spoke more truth than she ever did.

A small frown momentarily crossed her impassive face, but was quickly replaced by a slight smirk. "I don't even know who you are, fleshfoot," she glowered, her eyes taking on a more fiery shimmer. "Why I would owe a miserable little groundling like you any Sap?" The bird-girl's tone was calm, the only threatening aspect about her was her eyes. She even spun her revolver coolly whille staring the fool down.

Kijara Saeunn Revirn caught slightly off-guard by the Skin Wag's outburst, though she expected as much. Still, the comparison between her and a little, mindless finch stung her much more than it should have. Without taking her revolver off the ignorant humanoid before her, Kiij turned to shoot an extremely venomous glare at the intruding man thing, the fire rising in her eyes to a dangerous level. "So, Blood Whelp, why not at least show me the little civility your race has and tell me why I owe you, when I don't even know you?" She said calmly, her face pleasant. Again, the only thing threatening about her other than the gun and knife were her eyes. In truth, she was enjoying the situation immensely, loving the thrill of toying with death.

Kijara Saeunn Revirn giggled cutely at the skin wag's violent outburst, her amusement finally appearing externally. Smiling brightly, she spun the long barreled revolver in her left hand once more, before sliding it back into the simple holster at her hip. The knife also disappeared into a hidden sheath, as her eyes cooled somewhat, sparking with a bit of playfulness. Despite her amusement, Kiij still understood the temerity of the situation. "My dirt-bound friend, I never have killed anyone without due cause," she said demurely. "Judging by your appearance, you are not any government agent, meaning that you are either a pirate or a privateer. I would think the former is more likely than the latter. I do not harm any fellow pirates unless attacked first. And, to a lesser extent, I leave privateers alone. This means I did not kill your crewman."

Kijara Saeunn Revirn shrugged her wings as she relaxed into the barstool finally, watching the fleshfoot leave rather quickly. Somehow, she knew they would cross paths again. Something cold began to gather about her wings, and she tried to shrug it off. Some of the cold stuff brushed off onto her lap, and she realised it was snow. Or, rather, it was a magickal representation of snow. Avians only used practical magick, mainly to enhance their everyday tools, but they were taught enough to recognise most other forms of it. Slightly amused, but also slightly disgusted by this waste of magick, Kiij contemplated between staying and leaving the bar.

Kijara Saeunn Revirn alighted just before the bar door, the gentle rustling of her wings as she folded them seeming much louder than it really was. Unlike Harpies, Avians had both arms and wings, but still retained the scaly taloned feet from the knee down. She seemed almost frail, small even by Avian standards, unassuming save for a few things. Around her waist was a low-slung belt, containing numerous knives, hidden and unhidden, and at each hip were two ancient long barreled revolvers. The pistols had a nearly invisible aura about them; evidence of enchantment. With an almost tired smirk, she made her way to the bar counter, her five inch talons clicking in a slightly ominous tone with each step.

Kijara Saeunn Revirn touches down lightly outside of the bar, pushing the door open as she folded her wings. Unlike Harpies, Avians had arms and wings, but still retained taloned legs from the knee down. Even by Avian standards, this girl was small, but something about her bespoke trouble. Perhaps it was her beautiful golden brown wings edged with white, folded now, yet poised to burst forth at any sign of trouble. Or maybe it was the multitude of knives at her loosely hung belt, topped off with two ancient long barrel revolvers that had a strange aura about them. Regardless, one would be wise not to mess with her. Glancing around with her red-golden eyes, the girl made her way to the bar proper, her talons clicking almost ominously.

A whoosh of air would cut through the serene quietness of the night, as the sound of laboured wing beats replaced it. Through the branches came a small Avian girl, trying desperately to stay alight, despite a profusely bleeding wing with a small metal crossbow bolt protruding from it. With one last heaving wing stroke, the girl landed gently in a heap of feathers, wings, and arms onto the forest floor.

The small Avian girl stirred at the first poke, shaking her head gently. At the second poke, the man would find himself staring down the long barrel of an ancient revolver with a strange aura around it. The girl's fiery golden eyes were alert, glinting with a hint of crazed focus, as she glared at the man from behind red spikes of hair. "I'd be fine if you wouldn't unceremoniously prod me so, blood-whelp," she managed to sneer, ignoring her pain for now. The insult in her dialect was quite offensive, referring to Avian and Harpy beliefs that it was unnatural and dirty to be born out of anything other than a shell.

With a small growl, the girl pulled her revolver away from the strange man, sliding it into its holster on her left hip. Opting to ignore the man to take care of her wounds, she gingerly slid a largish pouch from her side, over what looked like a sword-gash above her right hip. Quickly and deftly, she pulled the crossbow bolt from her wing, cauterized it with a metal rod that glowed red hot at the tip, and covered it with a clean rag. It did hurt, even as she splinted her left wing and saw to the gash on her belly. After she was finished, she turned to fave the man once more. "I take it that since you haven't tried to eat me or anything, you're semi-friendly, groundling," she murmured, still internalizing the pain.

A low laugh escaped from Kiij's lips as she stood, gripping the loamy soil with her talons. The bleeding was all but staunched on her wing and side, but she'd have to change the rags after a while. Setting her pouch on her left side to alleviate the right, her hands played across the multitude of knives at her belt, stopping at each hip to rest on the butt of her revolvers. "Yes, but cats like to play with their food, no?"

Kijara Saeunn Revirn touches down lightly outside the bar, stepping through the door as she folds her wings against her back. There was a bored look on the Avian's pale, round face, though her amber eyes glinted slightly. As she moved across the floor to the bar counter, her talons clicked almost ominously. "Barkeep! Jameson's, if you please!" Kiij called as she sat down. "And leave the bottle!"
