Description

King Yoshi is a large, green yoshi, possibly around the size of 2 Yoshis.
He wears a large, golden crown atop his head. The crown never comes off, even during battle. It stays pretty well attached to his head.
He also wears a cape, made from the fabric of five Super Koopa capes. His cape an be used to reflect certian projectiles. He also keeps his weapons and other things in the Hammerspace behind his cape.

Personality

His personality is much like Count Bleck. He can be very gentleman like when he wants to, and is capable of being polite.
However, being an Evil Genius, he has a more crazed, wild side.
King Yoshi is always hatching a new plan to take over the Mushroom Kingdom, and kill off Mario, although these plans are almost always destined to fail.
King Yoshi does not like how moronic his army has a tendency to be, so often there will be a hilarious argument ensuing between his logic and his soldiers' sheer stupidity.

Equipment

Abilities:
King Yoshi has the abilities of a Super Dragon Yoshi.

His most obvious weapon should be his tongue. Wet and sticky, King Yoshi can eat anything that is not bigger or weighs more than him and then encase it inside an egg.

King Yoshi can shoot fireballs or spew flame breath, depending on the range of the target.

King Yoshi has wings, so he can fly. His wings are retractable. He mostly swoops on people or shoots fireballs when attacking in the air. He also flies up and....

Ground Pound to create a weak tremor. He doesn't have to fly to do this, but it has more potency when he does.

Weapons:
King Yoshi wields a great spear named Yoshiok. The spear has is crowned by 5 points, 1 at the tip and 4 to the sides of the tip at 90 degree angles around the sides of the spear(this allows the spear to be swung around for damage instead of just using thrusts). Each tip extends 4 inches from the base of the spear. The spear itself is 5 feet long. It is entirely made from an extremely rare metal only known to the Yoshis, Yoshiite. Yoshiite is a very light but very strong metal that characteristicly glows green in darkness.

King Yoshi has recently created and mass produced weapons using Lazer Technology (it's basically plasma):
-Lazer Pistols fire small, weak lazers. They fire very quicky, though, at 2 beams per turn. They can also be charged to fire medium-power shots at a rate of 1 beam per turn.
-Lazer Cannons fire large, strong lazers at a rate of 1 every 3 turns. Regular models cannot be charged.
-Eggzookas fire arching eggs that explode upon contact, making a 1 foot diameter spherical explosion. They can be made to rapidly fire at a rate of 1 per turn, which is best for large targets, but normally troops carrying these will take 2 turnss to aim before firing. Eggzookas can be set up like Grenade Launchers to fire over walls and buildings.

King Yoshi carries an Eggzooka and a Lazer Cannon custom made for him. His Eggzooka is only different in the fact that eggs are twice as large and make a 2 foot diameter explosion.
His Lazer Cannon is the same as normal ones, but can charge up to create a blast up to the size of Samus's Zero Lazer. This, of course has a very large charge-up and cool-down time, to create a beam as large at that (that would require at least 5 turns of charging, and 7 turns of cooldown afterward). He normally does not have that much time to charge for such a large attack, and a small charge only improves the damage and size slightly. For every turn of charge, the gun must recharge for a turn plus two more.

Armor:
King Yoshi's cape isn't merely made for style, it serves as his armor. Made from the capes of 5 Super Koopas, it has the ability to reflect some projectiles when King Yoshi spins around, and it protects his backside, or his front if King Yoshi pulls the cape in front of him. Interestingly enough, the cape does not help or hinder his flying abilities.
Note King Yoshi was born on Dinosaur Island, so he does fine in water, unlike certain Delfino Yoshis.

Besides that, King Yoshi does not have anything else in the way of armor, so he is actually quite vulnerable to melee attacks. He usually relies on his sidekick, Roboshi, to act as his defense. King Yoshi has high stamina, but intense melee can wear him down quickly.

King Yoshi's Universal Remote
This strange device is always kept somewhere on King Yoshi's person. It has a large amount if buttons, and there is always a new button to be pressed. King Yoshi has multiple uses for his remote. It can be used to control any of his evil creations, and summon them nearby. He also uses it for communication with his troops or Roboshi, to detonate his missiles remotely, point his Lazer Cannons to fire at his foes, or simply to turn on the Air Conditioning in his Castle. The great amount of mysteries and uses this remote has is boundless.

History

King Yoshi is a wealthy Yoshi with big dreams. His schemes started off entirely committed to getting rid of Mario and Luigi. He one of the few survivors of the mass Yoshi genocide better known as Super Mario World. In it, Yoshis were sentenced to bottomless pits, used for the sole purpose of being an extra jump for Mario and Luigi, just to save a few Extra Lives. What started as revenge became plans for world domination.

King Yoshi is a skilled inventor and engineer. He is known to think of weapons of mass destruction off a whim. He can create them easily, due to the mass of coins he collected while trailing behind Mario in the games that came after Super Mario World. This is also the very reason why these games have time limits in the levels, because if Mario didn't finish fast enough, King Yoshi would finally catch up to him and and shove him into the nearest bottomless pit/pool of lava/other death trap.
