Description

Its indescribable, but the man is very... odd. He dresses in a black duster Image, accompanied by appropriately colored pants, boots, and gloves. Although it might seem like hes going for a western look, which he isn't, he does not wear a big black cowboy hat. Instead, his short and well kept black hair is easily seen, as is the rest of his head. His face and chin are both cleanly shaved, and a three line mark streaks down his left cheek.
A sword scabbard is slung over his back, and a kurkri is inside of his duster, along with an almost never used pistol.

Personality

Kyle Decker is the definition of mood swings. He might be singing and dancing one moment, then be randomly attacking people the next. This is brought on by his (not so slight) insanity; he thinks the world is a big video game. "I read your stat card yesterday, and it turns out you ain't some tough after all!" "God dammit! Now I've got to revert back to my last checkpoint!" "No way in hell am I going to revert back to my last damned save because you want me to do all the fighting for you. Get off your god damned ass and help me, wouldja?"
Even though he has been cat scanned, c-scanned, had his brain checked by professional brain checker people, and has been put through all most every kind of mental test, all efforts have failed to figure out the cause of this, or cure it in the least.

Equipment

Polysite longsword and kurkri. Image (longsword, except the whole blade is black, and a yellow lightning bolt design runs the length of the blade on both sides.) Image (same lighting bolt design.) Polysite is a rare mineral found in some Elven lands that is extremely useful to anyone who likes to enchant weapons...
His experimental cyborg upgrades increase strength and speed, but they break down a lot. Without them he is a weak fighter, but he is still rather fast. He uses the longsword in his left hand because he is left handed, then flips the kukri around in his other hand as quickly as he can. "Watch out for my awesome weapons of critical hits!"

"Oh no, not the ban hammer!!!"

History

"I am the knight!"
Kyle Decker was once a normal man who led a normal life with a normal job. He made video games for a very advanced gaming system that was never released on the market because it caused to many rats to go insane. Everyone but Kyle that worked on the project died at one point or another, and now he stalks the night like a fox hunting for anything he can get experience point for...
Yeah, he thinks everything is a video game.
The reason for him thinking everything is a video game is because he was drafted into the military of his homeland as a scout/C.Q.C specialist. (hence the two melee weapons) His homeland was in the process of employing cyborgs.
Hey! I once made a video game where you played a guy who was drafted into the military and became a cyborg!
His whole team was killed in a mission gone horribly, horribly wrong. The way he coped with all the deaths was like this: Oh, the'll just respawn later. If they don't by the time I die, we'll just go back to our last save. Just like in that video game I made...
He's currently listed as M.I.A, and wanted as a deserter. Cyber implants in the skull can really affect your mental health...

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker's Story

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker opened the bar door slowly, knowing that he was going to take some penalties for unfamiliar territory. He decided to play it cool; experience points for combat weren't currently needed. He moved for the bar counter and ordered whatever drink had the lowest penalties to combat and cognition.

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker looked around after receiving his drink. Maybe taking a drink in the middle of potentially hostile territory would be a bad thing. He pushed the drink away and then ordered some water, and then looked around some more.

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker gripped the handle of his sword uneasily. He expected a fight, which was something he'd learned to always expect, but he was in half hopes that one wouldn't come. The other half said, "Hey, a level up would be great!"

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker turned to Aella. The grip he placed on his sword became tighter. "Depends on who wants to know." He said, full seriousness.

# Gambit's Bar, 2010-09-26 00:12:30, as written by The Jackal
Kyle "Night Fox" Decker didn't know if Aella was hostile enough, but didn't think of her as an immediate threat to the point that he should keep a grip on his sword, and lowered his arm. His other hand though was inside his duster, hand on the kukri, which was discretely hidden. "Oh, well, I was just talking to myself. That normal enough, plenty oh weirdos in this game."

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker looked at Aella like she was crazy. He twitched slightly and opened his mouth to speak. He closed his mouth. He opened it again, but thought better of it. Finally he opened it one last time. "Uh... the game. You know, the game that your a NPC in? I'm the... oh, you stupid NPCs not knowing what the hell your doing... What, more tempting to stab me? I don't pose a threat... right now..."

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker found a cookie on the bar counter and ate it.

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker sighed in frustration. "Wow... you non player characters don't even know what the hell you are! You know? The game controlled people that which are not controlled by players? The people who fill the game space and make good targets for free XP points some times?"

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker ordered some food. He didn't want to take hunger penalties during a fight.

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker 's writer silently laughed to himself as Aella "Frowned a Fox a bit." (inside joke) "No, no ma'am, er, I mean... miss. Its just that I thought it was polite to say ma'am and... Oh look, food." His train of thought was destroyed as he turned and devoured the taco set forth before him.

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker finished his taco. "He he... tacos rule..." He said to himself silently as he licked his finger. "What? Wind? You prefer the name Wind? Alright. My character name is Jack Decker." He put a hand out to shake, and dropped the hand away from the kurkri in his duster.

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker held back another irritated sigh. "You know, the name of this character. I am a C.Q.B specialist with a few skills related to other lines of work. I assume that you are some kind of elemental?"

# Gambit's Bar, 2010-09-26 00:43:48, as written by The Jackal
would note that "Jake" wasn't in his name, but it twas Kyle. Anway; Kyle thought that it was kind of obvious. "Well, it was kind of obvious. Either that, or your some kind of magician type character. Air elemental was first guess because of the way you didn't have to make a hand gesture or chant before the ambient wind levels picked up. Third guess was that your some kind of huckster type mage."

# Gambit's Bar, 2010-09-26 00:55:31, as written by The Jackal
Kyle "Night Fox" Decker didn't really come here to annoy or confuse people, but it happened a lot. "I didn't mean like magical stick that shoots fifty foot flames, I meant like shoots a big fireball from your hand type mage. I didn't mean it like an insult, just that... oh hell, my intelligence level isn't high enough for me to think my way out of this, and my charisma is to low to try and make a joke..." One of his hands slowly went back for his kurkri, thinking that the wind elemental might attack him.

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker did not feel like getting (bitch)slapped at the moment. "Uh... ma'am, wait, I mean, miss...? Uh... No, please don't slap me. I was only merely saying that my stats aren't set up for me to communicate so openly with NPCs. The NPCs on my old team did that for me... but I'm still waiting for them to respawn. So if you would mind not bitch slapping me, that would be great." His hand was now in his jacket, fingers brushing across the cold metal handle.

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker was completely unaffected by that godmod for 3 reasons. 1) It was a god mod, and he had god mod proof armor. 2) he did not have a gun. 3) His weapon was not drawn. "Where'd you go...?"

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker he sat back down and ordered some more tacos because, "heh, heh, tacos rule."

# Gambit's Bar, 2010-09-26 01:27:29, as written by The Jackal
Kyle "Night Fox" Decker got up and walked to a back corner where the light dared not shine. Dark areas helped with his sneak skill, which was a very helpful asset to him.
As he got to the back, he drew his Kurkri and looked at it's edge admiringly. "What a nice... whoa!" He failed his dexterity check and tripped, slamming the kurkri down onto -insert the guy's name here- table.

# Gambit's Bar, 2010-09-26 01:33:05, as written by The Jackal
Kyle "Night Fox" Decker succeeded on a strength check and pulled the curved knife out of the table, although the table had seen better days. "Uh... I don't want anything," he cleared his throat, "sir. I just failed my dexterity check..." He tried not to stare at the different colored eyes of the man with whom he was speaking. "Uh..."

Kyle "Night Fox" Decker did not like the way Damiano was making an overawe, or rather, intimidation attempt at him. He succeeded on his resist check and turned on him. "Well, little Mr. Mctell people what to do rudely mcruderson! Maybe you otta be rude to some people today, 'ya?"
