The image belongs to Dreamfall. If asked to be removed I shall do so promptly.

Age: Unknown, possibly hundreds

Gender: Female

Race/Ethnicity/Species: Unknown

Appearance: Because of the constant flux of magic, her physical appearance changes greatly. Her hair is white as the magic is activated, and will float around her in long strands, as if she were in water. The same can be said for any gown or clothing she wears, floating and billowing around her as she moves. However, as she pulls apart the magic flux and deactivates it, she becomes a small, somewhat unattractive, old, brown-haired woman.

Equipment/Weapons: Not but the clothes upon her skin.

Abilities/Skills/Spells:

Leilani is a witch, and one very paranoid. Her magic is constantly fluxing around her, a combination of water, wind, and fire magic. However, since fire magic is not always as involved, she is very weak against it. Her magic combined creates mist, which causes her hair, clothing, and entire form to float and dance as if she were underwater. If she is touched, her skin shall dissipate into mist, then reform. She can use this mist to smother opponents, and if they are not able to be smothered, she uses the only other magic she has to murder others; dark magic. Used to slit throats and stab others in the density of her mist.

She has a few defined spells:

  • Whiteout, Blackout: Varying between day and night, the spell pulls up mist so thick that one cannot see a hand in front of their face.
  • Smother: Creates an area of mist so dense around the opponent that they are smothered with water particles.
  • Boil: Makes steam so hot it burns the target.
  • Pierce: Using dark magic, Leilani forms shadows into the shape of knives, using them to pierce vital areas.

So begins...

Leilani Daya raised her hand to her lips and laughed through her nose.
"Yes, yes. Very good." She teased Safyam. He wasn't as frightening as she'd first inferred.

Leilani Daya returned Safyam's stare, looking directly into his eyes. She removed her hand from her mouth and frowned.
"You do love to stare. Or, at least, you don't stray from your target very easy..."

Leilani Daya was taken aback by the sudden split in the air and some type of magic that Safyam had used.
"My word!" She exclaimed loudly. "What in the hell- what did you..." She faded off in shock.

Leilani Daya blinked, then slid from the bar stool.
"Ah, well, that's all very interesting and all..." She tightened her cloak around her and turned to leave. She had had enough strangeness for one day.
"Now, it was all very nice meeting you and all...but I must go."

Leilani Daya had her head hung low as she rushed out of the bar.

Leilani Daya made her way inside of the bar, wearing a heavy brown cloak. She hid many secrets behind that cloak, all of which she wished not to reveal. She would not take out her hands or let her legs be seen, but did not put up her hood, so it lay limp on her back. Her hair was black and choppy, but she seemed of Asian decent for her slanted eyes and yellowish skin.

Leilani Daya jumped as she spotted a being who sprouted wings and flew upward. Many beings here seemed to have wings, and every single patron in there...they were all freaks. All of them. Though she would never speak it aloud, she thought badly of them all, but for now this freak-shelter was the only place she could reside for the moment.

Leilani Daya sat at the bar counter, keeping the cloak wrapped around her like a blanket, as if she were deathly cold. Her choppy bangs fell into her face, but she seemed to take no mind. Where she had just come from it was snowing, and this was the only place within two miles of walking distance that was warm. Though, it was still filled with freaks. Horrible, twisted ones, at that. She looked around for a bartender, nodding toward one for attention.

Leilani Daya walked into the bar wearing an oversized leather jacket. She swept her messy bangs out of her face, but weakly. Upon her back seemed to be two large lumps, running the length of it downward. She hobbled slowly, as if it hurt to walk. By her actions, she seemed to be in pain, but her determined, strong expression said otherwise.

Leilani Daya would feel her ears be filled with the crying of a baby and the roar of a dragon, mixed in with people laughing and chatting in the bar. A mix of sounds, all confusing and scattered in disorder. Leilani hobbled over to a booth, hoping to be able to rest her legs. The lumps under her jacket, upon her back, moved, seemed restless, the same as the woman's eyes.

Leilani Daya folded her legs as she came to sit in one of the many empty booths, and examined her feet. They were cut up and splintered with glass. When she'd come in she'd made a small, bloody trail of blood from the door to her booth. She began to work and pull out the glass shards, saying nothing and trying not to flinch as she drew them out one by one.

Leilani Daya would come to a particularly large shard of glass in her foot, which was bleeding considerably. Droplets of blood would form onto her toenails and make their way to the floor, making a small pool of red underneath it. As Leilani struggled to pull out the large piece of glass, her finger twitched and she clenched it in her hand accidentally, pulling it out and leading to her slicing her hand. Blood dripped from that cut as well.

Leilani Daya flicked the blood from her hand to the side, deciding that the bar had already been stained so much that it no longer mattered anymore. She put down a napkin and placed the glass shards upon them, wiping her bloody hand off in another. She gritted her teeth as the cut in her hand stung, but shook it away. There were still many pieces of glass in her foot, and it still bled horribly. To rest her eyes, Leilani looked up to spot a man who seemed to be cringing, not doubting there would be a few vampires in the bar, and not caring. She also spotted a strange little girl who seemed ragged and worn.

Leilani Daya took out some type of ointment from her black jacket, applying it to her hand to slow the bleeding and make it scab over quickly. She shifted her position, but felt uneasy. She knew what it was, and even after all this time did not favor taking them out. Trying to double-task, she slipped her jacket off and took hold of another napkin to wipe off the blood. As her jacket fell down, two large, batlike wings extended to the rafters, strong, but the membrane cut up so badly it would be impossible to fly.

Leilani Daya looked to her side, easily identifying the vampires that smelled her blood. They were, after all, slumped in concentration, trying not to let their minds going to craze. Leilani took no mind. If they came after her, they would feel her wrath of wing-batting. They were tattered, but had a good reach. Leilani closed her wings to her side, but through the rips in the skin she could see the vampires clearly. She continued to ease out the glass shards from her foot, causing even more blood to flow.

Leilani Daya took out the last pieces of glass from one of her feet, placing them gently into the napkin. She'd used up almost the whole tin of napkins by now, and she still used more. The blood was coming all too quick, and it needed to be soaked up. She had eight bloody napkins on the floor between a beam and her seat. She'd throw them away soon. Her wings fluttered a tad bit, then a tremor ran through them. They were figity because of her unease and her pain. She spotted, once more, the two conversing bloodsuckers between a piece of demolished membrane.

Leilani Daya had already started on her other foot, and this one was even worse than the last, for there were four inch-long shards embedded into the soft tissue. She started to pull out the largest, and yet her hand twitched once more, and she somehow managed to push the shard in even more on accident. Her left foot which she was operating on currently began to leek violently, crimson coating her foot and dripping between her toes.
"Ah, damn!" She exclaimed, quickly pulling out the shard she'd pushed in. "What the hell, these tremors!" As she said this, her wings beat violently, but did not cause much of a breeze for the ragged flaps of skin.

Leilani Daya looked up, her choppy bangs falling into her eyes. She spotted the vampire that she'd seen going into a frenzy. She did not see his mouth move as she heard his voice, and sighed heavily. She beat her wings, holding them up so he could better see her.
"Telepathy? Really? Could you speak to me, face to face?" She looked down and moved her bangs out of her eyes, wiping blood onto her forehead. "I mean, it's really unappealing to invade someone's mind like that."

Leilani Daya threw her hand up, droplets of blood flicking from them. She knew she was aggravating the vampies, but seemed to care not.
"Alright, alright, I see it must be driving you mad. You see, I'm not so worried..." Leilani began as she wiped the blood from one of her feet and put it at the edge of the table.
"Squeeze some of that in your mouth. Trust me, everything will be alright." And she knew it would be. One drop of it and they would stray as far away from her blood as possible. It would taste liek rotten meat or week wold garbage.
