Description

Lorn is a Kahin, this means he has feline features as well as human. For the cat side, he has black furred ears and a matching tail, as well as eyes that react to sunlight in the same way a cat's do. For the rest of him, he looks like a lithe human around 18-19 years of age, a little battle-scarred, but very fit. He has crimson hair and golden eyes, and his skin is tanned. He prefers to wear non-restrictive clothing and light armor.

Personality

Lorn's personality is split between his cat side and his human side. While his feline persona acts more on instinct and is great in moments of danger, it also causes some embarrassing moments when faced with things such as catnip, mice, and baths. The Kahin's human side acts with courage and pride, as well as other emotions that sway mankind. It is also a calmer, thinking entity, but tends to be swayed by the very emotions that drive it.

Equipment

Lorn carries almost no extra equipment except the bare essentials of the hunt. He is sometimes seen with a bow and quiver of arrows, but more often, he carries his longsword. The blade is longer and heavier than the same type designed for humans, but its sturdier shape is better suited to the Kahin, who battle hard once taken by blood lust.

History

Lorn is a professional soldier, born to the role and lives by its code. He is honorable and unabashed about the cruel realities of battle. As a Kahin, he has seen many wars and minor skirmishes with bordering clans and other races, and in spite of his young age, has climbed up the military hierarchy in a steady fashion.

He is currently adjutant to the Third General of Kahin, making him the youngest in the clan's history to hold the position. In a recent meeting between the tribal leaders, it was decided he would be sent to the outside world to liaise with the more numerous races that have populated it. He might be met with welcome, suspicion and sometimes downright danger, but the Council believes him suited to the role.
