Description

Lyra has short, very dark brown hair that reaches between her ears and her chin. It curls in a little at the ends, and her short bangs frame a pale, curious, heart shaped face with large, inquisitive brown eyes. Her nose it straight and narrow and her lips, though well shaped, are quite small. They often hold up into a quirked smile that hides her teeth, and her brows often extend up into her hairline when she becomes easily befuddled or curious.

Personality

Outgoing and friendly, quite curious and often chatty. Perhaps not the brightest woman to ever live. Much eludes her, but she means well. Lyra is easily intimidated and often backs out of things, or else just forgets until too late. Her life is an endless cycle of forgetting to do things or to meet people, and because of this she hasn’t gotten very far in life. She remains optimistic and hopeful for the future though, and is always helpful, if a tad bit invasive at times.

History

Lyra grew up in a small town to parents who seemed too old to have a child. Her mother, who before thought herself barren, finally managed to conceive. By the time Lyra was born though, both parents were too old and tired to enjoy their energetic daughter. Nevertheless, they loved her as good parents do, and taught her how to work in the bakery they owned, which she inherited when they both died a few years ago.

The woman never received a more than a basic education. She can read and write, but doesn’t keep up with politics and current events. She is extremely naïve about the world outside of her bakery and doesn’t know much about or bother with modern technology.
