Description

Michael’s face is heart-shaped, with a light dusting of freckles across his cheeks. His hair is light and wavy, a graying-chestnut tuft that rests delicately on his skull. His eyes are a light, almost cold blue, and his lips are slim to the point of inconspicuousness.
Michael is somewhat short, standing at only about 5’9”.
Michael wears a plain white shirt with bargain-brand blue jeans, more out of need for money than style.

Personality

Michael is calm, collected and somewhat of an introvert. He's very smart, but doesn't talk much, content with analyzing a situation himself rather than gathering information from others. He doesn't dislike people, he just doesn't feel the need to speak if he doesn't have something to say. While a nice guy when he has nothing on the line, Michael finds joy in his ability to deceive others to his own ends.

Equipment

Weapon: A long, red oak staff, enchanted to be almost invincible, and to reconstruct itself on the off chance it does break.

Power: Mono no Aware
Mono no Aware is not a single power so much as it is a group of complimentary powers.

Grace: The ability to move one’s body in ways that should be impossible, including bending limbs in ways they should not be able to bend, and going through motions that should be impossible without extra support.

Humility: The ability to absorb damage, despite Michael’s human-levels of physical strength, he can endure a startling amount of pain and injury before reaching critical levels. Also include faster sealing of wounds (coagulation, etc.), but not necessarily faster healing.

Empathy: The ability to mimic another’s powers and skills, and even use them in ways the other has not yet thought of or is incapable of using them. The catch is that mimicked powers and skills are far weaker than the originals. Michael can also channel certain powers he mimics through his staff. Empathy is not limited to special powers, if Michael is facing an exceptiaonally strong opponent, he will be slightly stronger, if he faces a mater at a martial art, he'll have at least a rudimentary ability to perform the same martial art. Empathy wears off after a period of time of not being exposed to whatever power has been mimic'd, and the less human an opponent is the less powerful it is. If Michael is fighting an average junkyard dog, or a robot with no special abilities, it's effectively useless. Furthermore empathy is incapable of mimicing weapons, like guns or swords, even if can mimic proficiency with said weapons.

Resonance: The ability to influence another’s actions, Michael can misdirect others movements and attacks to a slight degree.

Beauty: The ability to create ‘dandelion seeds’ from midair. Upon contact with another, even when supposedly intercepted by clothes or armor, these seeds will instantly be absorbed by their flesh. Michael can also spread these seeds via power's he's acquired. These seeds undergo three phases, depending on how many have been absorbed.
-Seeding: The seeds remain dormant, but the more that make contact, the stronger Michael’s powers become.

-Sprouting: The seeds begin to slow down a hosts’ movements and leach it's strength. Once Michaels seeds have reached this stage, he gains a second ability, the ability to create solid threads of a similar white energy to ensnare enemies. Technically Michael can enter this stage at any time, but Michael doesn't have the power to generate more seeds during this phase unless he has planted enough to provide himself with sufficient power, so he tends to hold it off. These threads are capable of fusing to whatever their ends touch, including things like energy blasts.

-Bloom: The final stage of Michael's power, which requires a much greater energy input than he is capable of sustaining alone. In this stage, his ability to create white-energy seeds is replaced by an ability to create golden 'pollen' en masse. This 'pollen' is composed of thousands of solid gold energy constructs, which he can use in a variety of ways, such as battering an opponent, blocking their attacks, strangling them or even sawing through them depending on what pattern of movement the individual grains take. In addition to this, he grows brilliant gold 'wings' of a similar energy, and his body morphs slightly, making him tall and gaunt. His physical capabilities, especially his speed, are boosted significantly, and his 'grace' ability is enhanced to the point where he can contort not only his joints, but his bones.
