History

Blank-faced, often emotionless and coldly efficient, Michael Samuelle is a former radical student activist whose protest group sparked the Sagittaron Riots after Zarek's bombing. Not long after being sent to prison, he is recruited into Section One and becomes one of their most successful and respected team leaders. A few years later, however, the apparent death of his wife, Simone — a fellow Section operative whom he married against the wishes of Operations and Madeline and who sacrifices her life to exact revenge on her abductor for her years of imprisonment and torture — profoundly affects him, and he completely shuts down emotionally, becoming almost an automaton.

Michael Samuelle's Story

"Agent S went silent maybe a few days ago... he confirmed infiltration... we had words he was compromised and he was silent." Said the voice on the other end of the subspace comm link as Michael loomed in the shadows across the street from the bar. "Right.. I've got several Halo strongholds in various alleyways of the city.. but they are come and go.. since Tech Con has moved outside the city we're hard pressed to remain in secrecy." He said flatly as he listened, then the voice spoke. "If he was compromised then he is disposed.. we will deny all knowledge of his existence.. you need to find him.. and cancel him." The voice said as Michael nodded. "Affirmative..." He said as he slinked into the shadows to find a vantage point up in the buildings. As for the Agent that had been tortured, he would stare up at Nikita and speak up. "Your days are numbered, Democracy is non-negotiable... you will stand before the gods in final judgement."

The agent said spitting blood onto the pavement. "Kill me or release me.. do not waste my time with talk."

As the man fell dead, he would vanish in a flash of bright white light leaving nothing but blood, a bright orb of light hovering above the group before it vanished. No the man had not beamed up, as Section had lost contact with him when the implant was fried in his electrocution, no something else happened. Torn and bloodstained clothing would be all that remained of the site before them as Michael saw the orb of light. "Either i'm seeing things or there's an Alteran in the city." He said as he watched the light fade away. The Aschen had a lot of half-bloods, half Human and Half Alteran, which allowed some to shed their physical form, and live as energy.

Standing up from the shadows, the man would slowly move to cross the street from the alleyway he was hiding in, watching the orb for just a moment as it faded then he leveled his gaze down onto the bar. Approaching he would grasp the door handle. Slowly opening the door and looking around, well timed steps clunking against the floor as he entered, eyes on Rin for a moment, then his eyes looked at all the patrons of the bar.

Michael would then vanish in a flash of white light.

# Gambit's Bar, 2010-01-15 14:16:38, as a chat transcript.
Just outside the bar, seemingly out of nowhere a figure would appear in the shadows of the alleyway, eyes looking around as he fixed his sunglasses and would look around, waiting for his accomplice to phase in alongside him, eyes on her once she appeared. "The assassin known as Corvin should be here, our mission parameters are simple.. primary objective is to collect information, secondary objective is to terminate the subject."

Michael inclined his head only slightly and then he brought his gaze to the bar as he slowly stepped forward and then he looked around and then took in the sights before him. Eyes on Corvin and then he looked over to Ireland, whispering to her slightly. "He's wanted for murder, and trying to incite a rebellion." Michael explained as he kept his eyes on Corvin. "He's a very dangerous man.. approach and collect intel, I'll cover you." Michael said quietly, only so Ireland could hear.

"Talk to him, be casual." Michael said as he motioned to him and then he whispered back. "Just play it naturally... don't go into collecting intel yet.. do what you feel you need to do." Michael added watching him. "The man is a known terrorist..." Michael explained as he adjusted his glasses.

"Then maybe I should have trained you better." He said as he noted the man was looking towards him and then he looked to Ireland. "Nevermind.. the mission is compromised." He explained flatly as he slinked back into a throng of people tugging Ireland with him. "You need to learn not to question my orders."

# Gambit's Bar, 2010-01-15 14:49:04, as a chat transcript.
"Perhaps I should take you back to section and train you further." Michael explained flatly as he watched Corvin once more. "Maybe you need more training back in the compound.. but research shows that people learn the quickest on the field, observe every movement, be mindful of your target." Michael explained. "Always be ready to draw your weapon and defend yourself, shoot to kill, not maim."

Michael then firmly grabbed Ireland and would look her square in the eyes. "You're part of section, you're a well oiled machine, you will function, when you can be trusted.. you can go home.." Michael explained flatly as he watched the woman. "You're shadowing me as part of your training, that man is a person of interest, stick close to me, and do as you are told, as an operative of Section.

Michael was silent as she struggled, and once again she would find the cold hard barrel of the blaster pressed against her back. "There's an implant in your body, even if you did manage to get away we can track your every location, now let's go... I'll talk to Operations about your conduct." Michael said plainly as he kept a firm grasp on Ireland's arm, gun held to her back.

"You know that's not acceptable.. we have the resources to make you stronger, faster, healthier... i'm sorry but you cannot go home." He said plainly, the weapon still held to her back, however discreetly. "Let's go... you'll begin remedial training and muscle building regimen as soon as we return."

He would say nothing as he shook his head. Still holding a firm grasp he would holster the weapon and then press a device to Ireland, it was designed to render her unconscious via a powerful yet short and quick electrical shock. He was going to send her back to Section, where she would be given advanced steroids to build muscle mass, as well as mind reconditioning.

Michael, being the rather quick gunslinger he was would see Corvin charging towards him, being the well trained Section agent that he was, with years of experience he would duck to the side, rolling on the floor as Corvin charged using the charge to his advantage as he withdrew his blaster and fired several well placed shots directly into the man's back, Michael bearing a blank expression as he prepared himself for another attack. He had seen this before as he stood aside and would hope the shots took their hold. When the weapon fired it made an audible whisper, but nothing more. Michael standing and waiting for the next attack.

Bolts of highly concentrated plasma were what used, and would cause rather deep holes as smoke indeed rose from the shots, Michael looking to Corvin a moment and slowly holstering his weapon, standing up as he looked to the hunched form and shook his head, stepping over him he would head over to the bar, then speak up. "Nothing to see here." He said as he looked to the door then held up his hand, ordering some water.

Michael would say nothing as the man stood up, shaking his head slightly, there was very little that could stop Aschen made plasma weapons, but appearantly he had a vest that could. Michael would simply say nothing as he faced Corvin. "It would be unwise to further any conflict with me." He said as he discreetly loaded an improved energy core into his weapon, and removed the blast suppressor, which would greatly increase the power of the pistol he held, Corvin was making himself a target, who'se to say Michael wasn't just as good of an assassin, operating independently, and skillfully for an unnamed organization.

Michael would look to his left only for a moment as if looking to someone who was blending into the crowd, he then looked over to Corvin and would speak up. "Your army of knights are meaningless without a ship to take them somewhere, the Chinese can only do so much and even they won't back you completely." Michael warned as he removed his sunglasses and would pocket them. "I suggest you turn around and walk away before you get yourself killed." Michael warned in a flat voice, Corvin was underestimating this man, who would raise his pistol and light off a single shot well aimed towards the man's head, this time it was loud, a blue flash and a bolt racing towards him.

"There are volumes of information collected on you from several organizations in the galaxy. I know your every move, and your reaction to my weapon confirms it." Michael said flatly as he raised his weapon upwards, firing another shot, to bring a large lamp down upon Corvin from above, then he lowered his weapon to take aim, and would fire several well-aimed shots at the man. A Sword of all things, this amused Michael, but not enough to interfere with his job as he stood there, watching Corvin move about like a dancing chicken. Pistol still held outward as he kept firing, the super-concentrated blue blasts of energu streaming accurately towards Corvin. Michael's aim almost always true.

Michael would say nothing as he slid his weapon into it's holster as the fire raged on. withdrawing a device he tossed it over to the burning tablecloth, extinguishing the flame as he slinked into the shadows. Waking out of the bar and turning a corner, where he was gone.
