The irony of using a title of darkness to teach the Light...
Name: Ministrati Silial
Name at birth: Ministrati Silial
Alias(es): N/A
Title(s): Two-time Shadow (current Shadow), five-time Warrior.
The Shadow: a position of relative power and prestige, the Shadow serves both a supporting role and an attacking role in an Enlightened crusade. With the primary role of directing assaults and a secondary of aiding diplomacy and the army’s preservation, the Shadow is a very demanding position, even if a little undervalued in the Enlightened’s army. There is a single Shadow in service for roughly every three months of active service. One is elected to be a Shadow upon having their work in the Enlightened army dubbed adequate, and are trained for years at a time to be ready in most cases. It is not unknown however, to send an undertrained Shadow into the fray out of desperation.
Somebody may occupy the Shadow position an unlimited amount of times, and keep previous knowledge and control of his/her abilities, regardless of whether the Enlightened is the current Shadow. Finally, Shadow abilities are present in every Enlightened, but only manifest during training (or are only known to), and from then on develop differently for everyone.
Warrior: at a glance, the title may seem to be that of an ordinary soldier. The case however is much, much different. A normal soldier is named just that – Warriors are excelling soldiers in combat and are given a much more rigorous training in order to withstand longer in combat and teach other soldiers. Abilities are sometimes, but not always manifested in this manner: telekinesis, manipulation or control of an element, amongst many others, as well as types of magic.
Age: N/A
Gender: N/A (referred to as a male for sheer simplicity)
Orientation: N/A
Species:
Enlightened: an ascended being, achieved so through the accumulation of potent thoughts in strings of the Metaverse, giving birth to a cluster of ideas, which in turn adopted a form at will: Ministrati Silial was the one chosen.
Race:
Soldier: chosen to spread the knowledge and wisdom of the Enlightened amongst other species of the Metaverse, they also patrol in order to ensure no potentially destructive beings enter a Multiverse they aren’t destined to.
Ancestry: Soldier Enlightened, but only technically as his birth was done through aforementioned process.
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 150lbs
BMI: 23.5
Blood type: B-
Birthplace: a Metaversal connection.
D.O.B.: unknown, not really cared for.
Residence: within the Metaverse, it’s in the Axis of Infinity – a very secluded ‘forest’, if it could be called that.
Universe: Metaverse
Planet: N/A
Ageless: yes
Immortal: yes, death will not happen to an enlightened by any means, however enough damage (or what would have caused bodily death) will force one to retract into a comatose state and teleport unconsciously to the closest metaversal connection for healing.
Age ranking-
Physical age: 26
Mental age: adaptive to the universe and situation
True age: N/A
Father: N/A
Mother: N/A
Brother(s): N/A
Sister(s): N/A
Children: N/A
Adoptive: N/A
Other: while he’s grown fond of many people in many universes, it is impossible for him to have blood family, and adoptive family would imply his leave of the army.
Occupation: Soldier Enlightened focus solely on the previously mentioned actions of patrolling and crusading.
Previous employment: N/A
Religion: ‘Light’, a believer of what he calls the Truth. Anything that could balance his mind, soul and body is Light and Truth to him.
Alignment: lawful, to what extent it is very subjective. Looking at it from the Enlightened’s point of view, Ministrati is the epitome of a good Soldier. Others however, would see him as a villain.
Social class: middle-high
Economic class: N/A
Skin color: a 15 on the Von Luschan scale, he is on the lower end of an intermediate skin tone. It’s rather luscious, even glowing if seen in daylight. For somebody with such a seemingly grim position in the army, his skin is darn near flawless. Sign of one of three things: a great warrior; a foolish, new warrior; or just somebody that’s very good at concealing wounds. The only noticeable runs along his right hand, up to an indistinguishable point.
Hair color: black
Hair style: medium in length, it hangs above the shoulders grown evenly, with the bangs either brushed away to a side or both. It’s straight for the most part, but curls at the ends. The most noticeable aspect of his hair is a braid that cascades from the right side: it’s thin and goes down to two inches above the bellybutton’s height, he adorns it with feathers at the end.
Eye color: black, but they used to be brown at some point. The darkening of them came with the control of the Shadow abilities. They came from a mistake he had during training and never seemed to go away.
Facial hair: N/A
Facial features: distinct, to say the least. Somewhat pointy ears, a dainty, fairly ball-like nose, thick lips and eyes that are usually dilated. His cheekbones protrude and give his face an elegant, though perhaps gaunt appearance. The usual expression of his visage is calm, which makes him seem bleak at times.
Clothing-
Head:
Mother’s Blessing: a magical spell concentrated from positive thoughts and energy. It is casted into existence and dispelled at will. Seemingly incorporeal, it’ll go through most solid objects and give off the appearance of an orb-like halo. Mother’s Blessing reduces damage of all types a certain amount, fluctuating between a slight aid to a life-saving decrease proportional to how damaged Ministrati is. After a good deal of use, it dissipates for a matter of minutes. At the very least two, but usually it’s more, according to how much damage ‘overloaded’ the spell.
Neck:
Vidrium necklace: made of a stretchy black string of mysterious precedence, it has a trio of stones hanging: one purple, one transparent and smoky, finally a dark metallic stone. These serve little purpose outside of good luck, he comments whenever asked.
Torso:
Majestic Shroud: a customized version of the standard outfit for a Shadow. It is a pitch black robe top as opposed to the usual dark grey or even white. Sewn into it is a pair of hands emulating wings, this with white string. Aside from exuding sheen, the Majestic Shroud serves the purpose of being light protection, its sewn pattern actually being plated with Dyo: a lightweight metal commonly used in Enlightened armor. The fabrics of the Shroud themselves consist of spun roots from the Grower Enlightened’s tree and have properties that protect the wearer partially from elemental, mental and magic damage.
Legs:
Majestic Shroud: of almost equal properties to the robe top, these are made to resemble pants and are a slim fit, as is the other half of the outfit. The adornments on this part consist of several hands grabbing away at him, ending in the upper thigh, also sewn in with white Dyo string. The bottom of the robe is even lighter than the top, providing slightly less protection due to the thinner design of the Dyo string. Regardless its protective properties against other sources of damage work fully.
Shoes:
Metaversal Treads: specialized in mobilization, the Metaversal Treads provide a considerable boost to running speed and a fair one to jumping height. Regardless, the material these are made of proves poor for sustaining damage. Sturdy and stylish is the motto, as its white hue accentuates the rest of the outfit, something the vainer side of Ministrati will never admit to.
Accessories: aside from the Vidrium Necklace, Ministrati has only one other accessory (this not counting his satchel tied to the left hip.)
Shadow Catalyzer: the ‘Motherload’, he dubs it jokingly. The Shadow Catalyzer works by draining some of his power at any given time and turning it into an overall increment to his physical abilities. It’s made of a refined salve, its tree growing somewhere in the Axis of Infinity.
Personality: admirable and worthy, but only to those that know him very little or those that know him a lot. Those in the middle term would judge him from what can be seen: hardly an Enlightened. Created by potent thoughts, both good and bad, these show in Ministrati’s personality. Analytical to some extent, but always conscious of the ‘outer realm’, he won’t hesitate to act out on his feelings if it’s necessary. Hard to enrage but fairly easy to anger; humble, though occasionally a showoff; cheery but realistic; a plethora of contradictions and paradoxes.

Enemies: whatever’s aggressive to the crusade
Rivals: constantly changes, sometimes the Shadows in training
Battle Information:
Weapons-
While instructed in the use of many weapons, of many universes, his weapon of choice is his mind and use of Shadow abilities.
Natural Abilities-
As an Enlightened, Ministrati’s capabilities far exceed a human’s: strength, agility, dexterity, stamina, speed, virtually everything. While the excess varies with the universe he’s facing, it’s usually a considerable amount. Outside of that, Ministrati knows no magic from birth or posses an otherwise innate ability.
Other Abilities:
Shadow: the Shadow abilities. These are present in any Enlightened and as such, do not count as natural abilities unless awakened without training. In Ministrati’s case, they were begun through training. The way they’ve manifested in him is such that he may channel the energy throughout his body for quick bursts of speed and strength, with his body being cushioned from the subsequent damage. As another physical skill, it may be decompressed within his body to fly.
Outside of this, Ministrati may channel his energy as a Shadow to form figures and move them at will. These gain a small amount of mass and are relatively easy to move from a still position. When moving however, Shadow projectiles prove to be nigh unstoppable, not to mention sharp if given such a shape. What happens basically, is that a species of dark mass is projected from either his body or the Catalyzer, then taking shape and moving at Ministrati’s will. Finally, this energy may be purposefully stored within the Catalyzer for future use.
Combat Styles-
Relying large on his stamina and ability to dodge moves, as well as a fair defensive, he believes in attrition fighting. Opting to analyze the enemy and stay away, storing his Shadow abilities for further on in the match.
Teleportation: yes, but only to a given universe
Flight: yes
