Otto Corbett strode down the dank streets of the futuristic city, the distant sirens of other Metro-Cops ringing in the distance. The Street had been known for street fights of a surprising intensity, and tonight may be no exception. Otto had been on patrol for a few hours, his feet beginning to ache beneath him. He wondered why he didn't have a car...
Otto Corbett noticed a second set of footsteps behind his self, and turned to see a gruff man standing down the street from him. Otto drew his flashlight, turning it on, and pointing it at the man as he asked, "Who goes there?"
Otto Corbett quickly made a dash for a near-by dumpster, drawing his handgun, and slamming a magazine home, and attaching the flashlight to it, at the expense of adding a bit of extra weight, he could see what he would be shooting at. He then managed a glance around the corner, his lo-vis eyepieces of his gas-mask dimming to fade into the background.
Otto Corbett quickly dove back into cover, and readied his sidearm for combat. Quickly dashing across a few meters away behind a car, away from the dumpster with the car between him and the aggressor. Otto doesn't turn the flashlight on, waiting for the flash from his opponent to reveal his position, so Otto could open fire.
[Just a street somewhere.]
Otto Corbett quickly reacted, putting down a blanket of suppressive fire where his opponent had taken cover, or in the general direction at least, whilst he himself sprinted behind a nearby selection of newspaper machines, where he reloaded, and started firing in the opponents general direction, and after emptying his mag, ran for another nearby car to change his cover.
Otto Corbett squatted closer to the ground, the bullet grinding in his ass, Otto didn't try to squeeze back the tears and gasps of pain as he scooted closer to where the aggressor had taken cover, before realizing something had landed beside him. Fuck! A grenade! Otto came quickly to his feet, and charged forwards, lop-legged, to a different source of cover, the dumpster from before, keeping a car in between him and the grenade, and hugged the cover between him and the enemy, while he waited for the grenade to go off.
Otto Corbett made a blitz, running forward, his pistol set on full auto, the twenty round mag burning quickly, unloading in the general direction of the enemy, hugged the front end of a car when he reached cover, the bullet in his ass burning all the while, and two new grazes; one near his pelvis and another on his shoulder burned alongside it. Otto then readied his control baton, as he was within stone's throw of his enemy.
[I turned it on, 'tis electric.]
Otto Corbett reacted quickly, taking the unpredicted path, lunging towards his target with his control baton at the ready, seeing as how he discarded the pistol, ramming the baton into where his enemy's groin was at the moment. Meanwhile, Otto's feet were behind him, pushing him forward towards the enemy, and both his hands on the baton.
[It's cool man, no problem, in fact, you mind if I take a shower really quick?]
[No Problem, I just had to feed the dogs, I'm ready whenever.]
