History

How come God banishes the black winged angels? What have we done? What makes the raven laugh? People hate them, despise the very sight of the black spirited creature to the point of banishing them, trying to force them away from the flock. Yet the raven merely laughs on.

Why is this so?

Is it because if it doesn't, then it would weep? Cower in shame? Try to blend its gorgeous ebony hide with those 'more suited' for the on lookers eyes?

Or... Is it laughing at everything else?

The ebony creature is often forgotten to be one of the more intelligent birds of the flock. Sly... Crafty... It knows its not wanted, yet it lingers, mocking the world around it. He knows... He knows if he waits, his time will come.

And so will mine, Father... I have waited in the shadows.. Under the mockery and shame you've placed on me merely for the blackness you gave me in my birth. I've stood under you, hoping, praying that one day I'd be forgiven for sins in which I do not know I've committed for far far too long.. I've done nothing but bow my head and take the burdens you've placed upon me and my kind as you and the others have forgotten us, forsaken us..

Yet its not time. Not yet..

I will wait for my time... For I am your little Raven..

Raven Drygion's Story

Raven Drygion turned her attention over to Ace, shrinking slightly away from him. Though he wasn't well known, she had heard of the lore from that man. The bartender finally showed up and she made her order quietly, clenching her fists nervously. Why was she here again?

The Northok family.. She had to find it. Thats it..

Raven Drygion flinches as she feels Ace's eyes on her, giving an awkward wave towards the man along with a crooked smile. She hated kissing ass, but it seemed the only way to save her own at this point. She moved her folded wings closer to herself as she continued to try to find the answer she was looking for.

Raven Drygion watched the odd pair from the corner of her eye for a moment then turned her attention to the drink the bartender had placed in front of her. Downing it in one go, she slowly stood up and moved about the bar, her combat boots thudding softly against the floor. She was an odd sight, but it didn't seem odd here.

Raven Drygion slowly moves towards the door and takes off for the night. She would continue her search another time.

Raven Drygion continues to listen to the odd conversation or two, picking up little keywords here and there. Her coal eyes scanned the room slowly. Sipping the glass the bartender brought to her, she wondered why on earth he'd give her so little time to do an assignment like this.

Raven Drygion froze, her coal eyes glaring over to Diana. Was it that easy? An eerie smile crept across her face and she sat in silence for a bit longer.

Raven Drygion pulls her blade out and placed it on her shoulder, watching Diana in silence. It was all too perfect. Her coal black eyes burned with a soft blue hint for a moment before slowly standing up and walking over to the woman. "So its about time I finally found the true leader.. Found that other one, been giving her the chase lately trying to find you."

Raven Drygion let the sword fall to the counter, its sharp tip cutting into the metal surface like butter. "Nah, I don't think so.. I'm suppose to pluck weeds. Annoyances, as you may call it. Boss doesn't appreciate your group, and I'm here to break it up for good."

Raven Drygion shakes her head. "'Fraid I've got nothing left to lose." Her eyes began to shine a bit more blue, a flame deep within herself. "Its either you or me, and quite honestly I like living."

Raven Drygion grins and lifts her blade, looking like she was about to swing it towards Diana. However, she stopped mid-swing, her cold eyes looking over her shoulder. A soft snarl escapes her lips and she lets the sword fall through the counter again. "Next time, Diana leader of Northok.. Next time he won't get the chance to call me back." With that, she jumped back, a surge of shadows engulfed the woman before she disappeared into thin air, leaving the blade embedded into the floor through the bar counter.

Raven Drygion turned to face the man that paid her attention when she arrived. "What? Never seen wings before?" She snorted. She too was looking for that barkeep, though it didn't seem to have any at that particular moment in time.

Raven Drygion was taken back a bit, looking over her shoulder at the crimson colored blade. "Its one of many I have created. But so far, is my best work." She grumbles, finally getting her order. Taking a sip from the glass, she sighs and relaxes. "Too bad I won't get another shot at improving this one.."

Raven Drygion blinked and waved her hand in the air as if to brush it off the matter. "Its not important." She mumbles. "You sound surprised.. Why? Anyone can be a weapon smith if they put their mind to it.."

Raven Drygion smirks as well, not concerned about the blade under her chin. "Several people." She admits. "But I must keep my head under the radar, and since my soul is tainted, I must follow the rules in order to get what I want." Her coal eyes shifted into a dark midnight blue. "Why?"

Raven Drygion shakes her head. "Unless you are related to my boss, or part of the family of Northok, then you aren't on my list. But you don't smell like them, nor have the markings of the family so I assume you are not." She then pulled out her own blade, which immediately separated into two separate blades. One ended up close enough to shave a few hairs off his own throat the other remained behind as if acting a shield. "And word to the wise.. Don't ever threaten me. Especially if you are going to put your weapon away right after."

Raven Drygion 's eyes slitted like that of a cats when its angry, slowly glancing over at the blade that was close to her neck. But the smirk never left. "I must say, thats the first time I've been taken by surprise by anything with a blade. But losing a bit of blood is never a bad thing. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, eh?" She chuckled darkly, and slowly drew back her blades, combining them once more.

Raven Drygion kept the blade close to herself and extended her free hand out to the man. "Raven." She replied back. "Its nice to meet another warrior, and your blade is intriguing. I must keep that in mind.."

Raven Drygion had noticed that the bar wasn't as populated as it usually was, and this made her relax slightly. She hated it when it was crowded, the constant fights that erupted here. Though she wasn't any help, but that wasn't her fault. She just didn't want to get involved in other people's business, unless of course it some how involved her. Feeling eyes on her, she tried to ignore it for the time being, ordering up a glass of water. As she felt the eyes continue to stare, she turned slightly, her coal eyes searching for the culprit to only stare back.

Raven Drygion turned around to the man that seemed to be hung over. "'Fraid he won't help those who decide to harm themselves like that." She replied to his comment, glancing over the bottles that was placed around him. Grumbling slightly, she reached into the pockets of her heavy trench coat and tossed a bag towards him. "That should help.. Mix it in some tea or something and don't mind the smell.."

Raven Drygion rolled her coal black eyes. "Bothering me? Nooo, I'm use to people gawking at me from a distance. Its a common occurrance." She spouted out sarcastically towards the man that had stared at her. Raven was nursing her fowl mood, but it didn't mean she wasn't going to take it out on others.

Turning back towards the drunk, she raised a thin eyebrow at him and crossed her arms. "Still, you look like one of those that drink a bit. Keep it, trust me it helps." Uninvited, she crossed the room towards him and sat down on the table where there was an open space. "Can I have one?" She pointed at the cigarette he had just lit up.
