Younger half Cherokee half sister of Jesse Cameron
Becky is not a striking beauty in the traditional sense, but she has a quiet more exotic looking prettiness to her. Her hair is long and black, usually kept back in a pony tail or braid, and she has the same brandy colored eyes as Jesse, just with an almond slant. She had high cheek bones and a straight nose. Becky prefers the leather buck hide clothes of her mother's people, but while living with Jesse, and when going into town, she wears the old dresses of his mother, as she's the same size, and Jesse has insisted. They are mostly conservative, blue, light cotton dresses.
Calm, reserved, and anti social. Becky is the kind of person who does not trust easily, having seen the worst in people her whole life. If however, you've earned her trust, Becky is a loyal and stubborn friend. Becky is also very smart, and can even read and write a little, something she consideres a treasure.
Witts, knowledge of Native American ledgends, and skill riding bareback on a horse.
Becky is the illegitimate daughter of a Cherokee refugee, and Angus Cameron. Becky never really knew her father, as he’d not stuck around to see her born, nor ever come calling. She grew up with her mother in their makeshift tribe, thriving on the stories of not just her native peoples, but those of others, as Cherokees were not the only ones living in their camp. She was also however, exposed to cruelty and discrimination from both her parent’s people. She watched it eat away at her mother, a kind hearted and social soul, as they both had to deal with the loneliness. Her mother eventually died, not long before her father (though she didn’t know this), when she was ten. Her mother had told her where her father lived, and urged Becky to go find him before she passed. It was not a pleasant trip for a young girl to make herself from the prairies to the far west, but she did so. When she arrived, she found her brother Jesse there living alone. To her immense surprise, he accepted her with open arms, and is one of the few people Becky trust with her life. Since then, for the last eight or so years, Becky had lived with Jesse on their farmhouse just outside of Green Hollow. There she has made few friends, butlives quite contently with her brother.
