Riley is a writer, athlete, and all-around popular girl at her school, but lately she's been really, really tired and her grades are sliding downwards. None of her friends know why. But the truth is, after her seventeenth birthday, she would fall asleep and wake up in Wing City, Terra, Multiverse.
Personality
Riley has the usual highschool student's snarky, sarcastic wit, along with a dislike of sexism. She's outspoken - sort of - she makes her views known, and usually against extreme masculinism.
Riley Cuthbert Riley would enter the bar through the door. Or, she would enter through many of the random magic portals. She would. But she didn't. Instead, she dived / was shoved through a tiny window, whilst loud protests and curses came from her usually quiet mouth. Lovely. Sagging her shoulders, she lay on the floor in a heap.
Riley Cuthbert Slumped on the floor, Riley listened to the conversations around her. The carpet felt nice on her face, and clean. She buried her head in it for a moment longer, but one glance up made her close her eyes tightly again. A guy had just come through! Okay, so maybe she was afraid. All of it, it was supposed to be fake, unreal. Brainchildren of real people! And here they stood, bold as brass.

Riley Cuthbert Riley slowly got to her feet. She would have to face the music some time, and better to be seen as strong than as weak in this place...wherever it was. Well, whatever dimension it was in. Miraculously, she found a small wrench in her back pocket. Riley tried not to dwell on how it got there, instead placing a gloved hand on it warily. But hey, this was a bar, and it didn't look like there were age limits. Ever since a vacation in Mexico she had wanted to try a Strawberry Daiquiri with alcohol. Grinning slightly, still well aware of the dangers, she sat down at the counter and ordered it.

Riley Cuthbert Riley, from her spot on the floor, flinched as the bar was bathed in light. She also saw something scuttle in, but one gloved hand clutched her monkey wrench and nothing more. She was rather tired. The carpet was nice in this bar, for some reason. Sighing, she sunk into a light nap.
Riley Cuthbert woke abruptly.
Riley Cuthbert Glancing around, though still rather afraid of the people in the bar, Riley stood. The blonde brushed herself off and made her way to a booth, laying down on the cushions instead. Maybe she's see one of the Great Ones soon.
Riley Cuthbert Riley was woken again when a random person sat at her booth. She glared at him with sleep-worn eyes, glaring irritably. "Pick an unoccupied spot next time, okay, bozo?" But she did nothing to move general Maelik and laid back down.
After delivering her not-so-stern lecture, Riley laid her head back down in her arms, on the cushion on the booth on the floor in Gambit's Bar in Wing City in the Multiverse. Or something like that. Sighing, she kicked her heels up, content with half-watching the people.
Riley Cuthbert was still sleeping in her booth, actually.
Riley Cuthbert woke up, instinctively chucking her monkey wrench at the one who made the loud noise.
Riley Cuthbert "Don't bloody wake me up, I was having a lovely dream about home. The real world." Slowly, she got up to retrieve the wrench and plopped down next to him with the, well, attitude of someone who had just been woken up.
Riley Cuthbert Riley, muttering under her brath, made her way back to her booth and laid down, falling asleep.
Riley Cuthbert A young girl of perhaps 18 woke up from her spot in a booth, wiping tired eyes away. Perhaps the oddest thing about her was that in her left hand she clenched a monkey wrench - other than that, there was nothing out of the ordinary about her. Muttering lightly to herself, the girl walked slowly up to the counter and ordered a coffee to wake her up. No use wasting time here in Wing City. When she received it, she sat down rather heavily on a stool. "Tonight's going to be a good night - I can feel it! " Is what she wanted to say. Instead, she only mumbled to herself more and rested her head in her hands with a sigh.
Riley Cuthbert Riley saw Scotto get his coffee with semi-interested eyes. "Hey, you." She said a bit quietly. "Would you mind getting me some coffee too? Dimensional travel isn't always the best for catching up on your beauty sleep. Lord knows it's what I need."
Riley Cuthbert Riley rolled her eyes at the rude man and laid her head back down. "Fine then, be a jackass." But not soon after her blonde hair covered her face did she hear the thunk of another cup in front of her. Startled, she looked up to find Lash. "Oh, thank you." She said, mainly out of surprise and habit than manners. Cautiously, she took light sips.
Riley Cuthbert couldn't help but animalistically bare her teeth at Scotto, hissing under her breath, and took one last sip of her coffee before laying her head back down, ironically in the same pose as Scotto. Whatever.
Riley Cuthbert ignored Scotto - she, after all, had her head down on the counter and facing in the opposite direction. Though he may be kind of handsome, he was an irritating jackass for all outward appearances. Who said she cared enough to find out the truth in the inside?
