Lovely Italian nurse living in New York City during the 1930's.
Rosetta, or affectionately Rosie, has long curly brunette hair with a slight copper tint to it. Her eyes are the color of honey and go well with her somewhat tanner complexion. She’d a bit short as she only reaches 5’5, a fact she looks upon with annoyance. Outside of work, she favors yellow and pink floral print dresses, but wears her nurse's uniform for work. She does have a few fancier dresses thanks to the money her family had been given by the Seccarinni family, but hasn't really had an occasion to wear them in the last seven years or so.
Rosie is generally a kind and giving soul, and at times gullible, though by no means stupid. She'd stubborn as a mule, and when crossed can have a foul temper. She’s also not fond of being proven wrong, but when managed, she’ll grudgingly do so. She is also the kind of person who won’t be satisfied until she keeps a promise she’s made, or repayed a debt.
A nursing license, and knowledge of the kitchen.
Rosetta, or affectionately Rosie, is the only daughter of the first generation of American Carabellas. Her family owns an Italian Restaurant in New York City named “Angelina’s” after her mother. She has two brothers Armando, married to his wife Maria, and Lorenzo. The Carabellas have seen three new additions in the last seven years, Sofia, Rosie’s good friend, married Lorenzo in the spring of 1925, and less than a year later had a boy named Anthony (after their deceased uncle). Armando and Maria also had their second child, a boy as well, whom they named Gianni. Young Risa, now fourteen, was trilled with her new little brother.
Despite the new additions, and though she loves her niece and nephews, Rosie has not quite been a bright and cheerful as she once was. After the events following the murder of New York’s former mayor, resulting in the disappearance of her boyfriend at the time Francisco Seccarinni, felt a bit distanced from her family. She even lives in her own flat, not too far from the hospital she works at. Rosie also hasn’t seriously dated a man since Frankie, finding it hard for another man to compare. Her family however are seemingly sending a new nice Italian boy her way everyday. Though uninterested, Rosie’s quite aware she’s now twenty five, and still very much wants children of her own. That coupled with the pressure from her family, has Rosie starting to try and forget her perfect memory, for dead or alive she’s quite certain Frankie Seccarinni is never coming back.
