Description

Saul is a tall, sallow faced white male. Above his left eyebrow are three small scars in the shape of lines. His eyes are a deep crimson which seem to stare right through a person into their soul. His hair is short and black and he always keeps it slicked back with some sort of gel . He often wears a large black trenchcoat that is trimmed with gold and on the back has a golden lion stiched onto it. On his right side dangling off of a belt sewn into his jacket is a Golden-gilted Cutlass with a small lions head sitting on the hand guard above the hilt. Under his jacket he wears an old white shirt under a leather vest. His trousers are quite baggy cargo pants with many silver zips and hidden pockets in which he keeps all manner of daggers and weapons. On his belt (On the inside of his jacket) is attached a small brown bag filled with large beads. Next to the bag is a ritualistic knife. The knife looks like a normal combat knife except the steel blade has red tribal markings down it.
On his hands he wears odd rings on each finger, each ring decorated with a small coloured orb or skull. On his wrist dangles a chain attached to which is a small, steel skull that has ruby eyes.

Personality

Saul is a very friendly person and is a strong leader. He can be kind to those who likes but is more than cruel to those whom he doesn't.
When not in battle he is a quiet man who spends his time studying the arcane arts. When in battle, he is a natural leader and has never lost a man under his lead, he is also extremely brave and would never stop fighting until dead.

Equipment

Saul keeps a bag of round, glass orbs attached to his leather belt. The orbs can be used for various spells that would normally require charging. He also carries a Ritual knife, something necro mancers use to sacrifice their blood in order to perform powerful magicks. On his right he carries a silver Cutlass with a golden hilt, which has a lions head on the handguard.

History

Saul was always an academic and began studying magic at the age of 16. By the age of 28 he had become a near master at controlling fire. Soon after he discovered a book about necromancy, magic with the dead and blood. He became engrossed and was always hungry to know more of the lost art. He ressurected his first skeleton at 30 and then at 47 conjured up a three-headed snake. At 48 he is considered by all those who practise black magick to be a powerful and dangerous mage
