Description

Skyra is 155cm tall, with a slender, muscly body. She is a young Cymenian (cat-girl), although she does not know her exact age as she had lost track of time during her travels. She has long silver hair with some intricate braids at the front, and her golden eyes are steely and hardened from her past experiences. She wears light, black clothing that covers her well in shadows and her black pointy ears and black tail show her heritage as a Cymenian.

Skyra is extremely skilled in the art of blades (swords and daggers), allowing her to attack and defend herself effectively. She is extremely agile and can see well in the dark. She is also a great spy as she has an uncanny knack for camouflage.

Personality

Skyra’s tragic childhood and all its sorrows have made her tough and bitter at times. She is constantly seeking revenge and hates all humans, showing them no mercy. In battlefield, she can be described as lethal and unfeeling. The first impression that people often get is that Skyra is cold and detached, and that she does not trust other people easily. However, when her trust is gained, Skyra can be the most loyal, trusting, kind person who would stand by her friends no matter what happens. She especially has great feelings of kinship for her fellow Gegrai Rebels, almost as if they are her family. Skyra is determined to the point of being almost stubborn. If she has to do something, she will never give up until the very end. Because she does not fear death, she is often reckless and hot-headed, which sometimes gets her into trouble.

Equipment

She wields identical, two edged dual swords, both held in identical silver scabbards. She also has two daggers, which she keeps hidden from common view up her sleeves in case of emergency. She is extremely skilled with the blades, allowing her to attack and defend herself effectively.

History

Born in a small village in the country Valgonia, Skyra became orphaned at eight years old with her younger sister Kiara, when a group of ruthless humans murdered her parents for a reason Skyra never found out. She saw the terrible, bloody murder with all its brutality whilst hiding with her sister and lost her innocence. Skyra then swore on her dead parents’ graves that she would never trust humans ever again.
She journeyed with her sister, leaving their ruined home behind. They reached another country called Athoria, gaining much experience and skills during their travels.

Then one day, they accidentally stumbled upon a village being raided by the Anushi (a group of humans who wanted to take control of their neighboring countries) . There, a ruthless Anushi soldier killed the one special person Skyra had left in the world, before her very eyes. Overcome with rage, she tried to kill the soldier, but failed when he cowardly ran from her display of fury.

Angered and saddened, Skyra traveled further and joined a rising rebellious faction called the Gegrai Rebels, seeking revenge for all the loss she suffered. She especially wants to find the soldier who had killed her poor sister and the humans who had killed her parents; she still remembers their faces clearly.
