Accidental Offspring to The Arcane Project
Name: Tage – Accidental offspring to the Arcane Project
Height: 24ft
Weight: Inconsistent
Tier-Level: High
Sign:Leo
Character-Type: Stand-Alone.
Description: The draconic cyborg stands at an approximated 24ft in height, with an inconsistent weight due to trace amounts of the rock-golem Agron littered throughout the entirety of his body. Due to its shape-shifting prowess, Tage has been bestowed with the ability to alter the metal-molecules that cover both the interior and the exterior anatomy, allowing him to harden his defenses to the point of being comparable to diamond and then some.
His anatomical structure is consistent with both the human and draconian, granting him a somewhat anthropomorphic appearance, complimenting the humanistic persona that he inherited from Gennosuke. While the metal that he is composed of is mostly unknown, it carries a shadowy platinum sheen; hinting at his relations to the Arcane Project. Overall, though his appearance isn’t too complex for most of the weapons that he possesses are mounted internally and exit from his forearms.
Personality: Tage is for the most part, relatively silent, preferring not to speak unless its required for him to, which is rare considering he mostly communicates through his ley-lines. He prefers to keep to himself, and not question the orders he is given, though not to imply he has no opinion on what exactly he has been assigned with.
This stems from the fact that he was born from the Arcane Project who possesses an artificial intelligence, and Gennosuke – the pacifistic leader of the Kouga Tribe who was kidnapped by the demonic count – Magnus and forced to fight in a war that had zero to do with him. As a result – Tage finds himself entering a state, in which his emotions are non-existent, as well as being reluctant to engage his targets in combat.
History: During the war between the Crimson Knights 9th Fleet and the Trantor Fleet Magnus – the Arcane Project’s creator had for unknown reasons – chosen to intervene, taking the side of Trantor, using Xelas along with the omnipresent cat-boy Schrodinger and the kidnapped Gennosuke as weapons to fight the engage the Knights with.
The battle started off with both sides going toe-to-toe with the other until Magnus’ plan began to come to fruition. However, when Magnus decided to sacrifice Schrodinger in order to destroy the mech dubbed as ‘Machine Messiah’ piloted by Atomsk, Gennosuke was sent into a state of uncontrollable rage and attacked the count. Unfortunately, Gennosuke failed horribly and was subjected to confinement within Xelas itself; his powers being forced out of him.
At this point, Xelas had reached 100% power and Gennosuke was beginning to use his powers to fight back against the ship, activating its abilities, and causing it to birth a new entity by accident. This entity became known solely as Tage, recovering Schrodinger from the anti-Plane as its first order of business; restoring him to his existence as everything and nothing.
As of now Tage simply acts as a servant to the higher-ups, acting out their will, despite what negative feelings he may have about them.
Abilities
Scarlett-Optical Units: (5) Above Tage’s eyelids are multiple slides, each designed to read a different type of energy-signature, be it EM, Thermal, Infared, Radioactive-emissions, Chemical, etc. The slides can be layered ontop of one another or simply be viewed individually, coming down in front of Tage’s lenses where they are quickly deciphered.
Dual-mounted rail-guns: (7) Two high-powered rail-guns, capable of firing off a variety of rounds, ranging from explosive tips, slug-rounds, and various other weapons. The sound they emit is nothing less than a low hum, meaning the only thing you’ll hear will be your bones cracking as they shatter from the super-sonic forces impacting them. Both are internally mounted on Tage’s radial bones, hidden behind a plate that slides back, allowing the weapon to extend to a 4-8 ft length.
Sub-space Repository: (7) Internally attached to Tage’s mechanical tricep is a device that opens up a pocket-dimension, containing a limitless supply of all the ammunition Tage could ever need, which explains his lack of size. Not only are bullets contained here, but missiles, rockets, and many other forms of heavy artillery that Tage may need while completing a mission.
Missiles generally materialize atop Tage’s wings, or shoulders upon which he launches a volley of missiles that break off into a small group, similar to the Jericho Missile. (Iron Man sucked, but that’s a damn good weapon) Think of it as a cluster-bomb.
Dual-mounted energy-rails: (8) Two high-powered rail-blades internally mounted to Tage’s ulna, extend outwards, hidden behind a sliding metal plate. Located between the ulna and radial bones and extending all the way up to the mechanical deltoid is a lengthy engine that switches generates red-plasma, capable of burning a hole through just about anything like a hot-knife through butter. The second form of energy generated by these engines is searing hot electrical power, mostly used as a means of frying other machines by plugging into them, and pouring the electricity into it. They can can extend to a length of 4-8 ft.
Runic Ley-Lines: (8) Upon the discovery of Agron’s infectious runes, Tage began splicing them, all the way down to a sub-atomic level. Afterwards, he began to reattach them and stretch them out like strings, where they would feed off most forms of energy such as the EM, radioactive material, photon, ion, and even basic matter, granting him a limitless supply of energy. The ley-lines are used as a means of offense and defense; often times interweaving themselves around Tage’s body, acting as a powerful shield, or he can wrap it around his foes and leak the energy around them, until crushing them to death under the intense pressure.
Dimensional-Travel: (7) By focusing energy onto the very tips of the ley-lines, Tage is able to tear open a portal leading to either A) another dimension B) sub-space, or C) ride energy currents by weaving the ley-lines around his wings, enabling him to gently glide along the current at hyper-speeds.
Radioactive Weapons: (8) After enough energy has been accumulated by the ley-lines, Tage begins manipulating atoms, whether it be to produce a small scale nuclear bomb, hydrogen bomb, or an atomic bomb. Energy is sucked out of the ley-lines and into Tage’s mouth, upon which he releases it in a spherical containment field until it reaches its intended target.
Harmonic Chainsaw: (8) (Also my favorite weapon to use) This is another byproduct of having trace amounts of Agron’s throughout one’s body. Essentially, molecules are configured along the entire length of Tage’s tail and begin to vibrate at frequencies so intense, that they are capable of shaking apart beams of energy and dispersing them into harmless particles. It also works as any other chainsaw, slicing clean through most metals with little effort, and various other substances.
Plasma-Thrusters: (6) Cylindrical openings just beneath the soles of Tage’s feet are capable of propelling yellow plasma contained within magnetic fields, siphon it in a specific direction thanks to tiny blades which project the field, capable of readjusting their position on a dime to redirect Tage’s flight-path.
Energy-Claws: (6) Tage’s claws are fully capable of shooting out and embedding themselves into other objects, using concentrated plasma-cutters to puncture more dense material, and simply using his claws to take care of lesser known substances. Through this method, he can anchor himself to space-ships or simply lock himself in place on an asteroid floating in space.
Shape-Shifting: (8) Once more, the Agronian particles come to aid Tage, employed mostly for up-close-and-personal encounters in which Tage will have to use his actual body to combat an enemy. Similar to the Harmonic Chainsaw, Tage can create blades all over his body, or he can create larger ones simply by stacking the molecules atop each other, then rearranging their positioning so that everything is in its proper proportion.
It is also used as a method of defending himself against blunt physical strikes, condensing the metal mass to the point of being comparable to diamond and other dense material.
Nano-bots: (8) Possessing both nanites and nanomachines, Tage releases these micro-warriors in what appears to be a red cloud, quickly settling in and performing its assigned task. Tage uses this as a method of ‘technofying’ an area, which can take a very long time, or simply eradicate the intended target.
